1. Daily Incursions — the guaranteed 30 (do these first, every day)
Each day the Steel Path offers six Incursion missions, marked on the star chart. Every completed Incursion awards 5 Steel Essence, for a guaranteed 30 Steel Essence per day with zero RNG. Incursions rotate to new nodes and reset at 00:00 UTC.
This is your baseline. It's the highest reliability-per-minute source in the game — no booster, no luck, no farming frame required. If you do nothing else, do your six Incursions. Over a week that's 210 Steel Essence — more than half of everything Teshin sells.
2. Acolytes in endless missions — the real high-yield farm
Acolytes are the roaming mini-boss assassins unique to the Steel Path. One spawns on a timer in every Steel Path mission (they do not spawn in Archwing missions). Each Acolyte you defeat drops 2 Steel Essence and a guaranteed Primary or Secondary Arcane (think Arcane Merciless, Deadhead, Dexterity).
The trick is that the Acolyte spawn cadence in endless missions — Survival, Defense, Interception — keeps producing Acolytes rotation after rotation.
