Mimiron's Head Farm

Mimiron's Head Farm - WoW Midnight

  • 0 Keepers Hard Mode
  • 25H Ulduar Lockout
  • Priced Per Run Cycle

Mimiron's Head drops from Yogg-Saron in 25-player Heroic Ulduar, and only when the raid kills him with 0 Keepers assisting — the hard mode achievement Alone in the Darkness. The drop chance is roughly 1% per kill, and Ulduar sits on a weekly lockout, so that is one attempt every 7 days per character. Priced per attempt, from $5.39 a run cycle.

This is a skilled service, not a plain farm. Leaving all four Keepers — Freya, Hodir, Mimiron and Thorim — inactive strips the raid of every buff the encounter was built around, drops the Sanity ceiling and turns Yogg-Saron into the hardest fight of the tier. Very few guilds ever cleared it on level. Any seller quoting you "Mimiron's Head runs" without saying 0 Keepers is quoting a normal Yogg-Saron kill, and a normal kill cannot drop the mount at all.

How many weeks it realistically takes. At about a 1% chance per 0-Keeper kill, half of all farms need roughly 69 attempts and about a quarter finish inside 28. On a single character at one lockout a week that is years, which is why the blocks scale: 5 cycles $26.95, 10 cycles $53.90, 25 cycles $134.75, and why running the kill across several of your characters in the same week is the only honest way to compress it. Extra characters multiply lockouts; they never raise the 1%.

The mount is account-wide. Mimiron's Head is Bind on Pickup, so the kill has to happen on your own character, but once it is looted the mount lands in your account-wide collection and every character you own can ride it. There is no mailing it, no trading it and no delivery version of this service.

How it is delivered: piloted by default, or Self-play Remote for 30% more if you want the account to stay on your own machine. Express adds 20% and Super Express 40% for queue priority. US realms are the default, EU is on the region switch above. Manual play, no bots, PC only.

Frequently asked questions

  • Mimiron's Head drops from Yogg-Saron, the final boss of Ulduar, and only from a 25-player Heroic kill completed with 0 Keepers assisting — the hard mode known as Alone in the Darkness. No vendor sells it, no quest awards it, and a normal Yogg-Saron kill with Keepers active cannot drop it.

  • Mimiron's Head drops from Yogg-Saron with 0 Keepers in 25-player Heroic Ulduar at roughly a 1% chance per kill, based on community-sampled loot data rather than an official Blizzard figure. Ulduar is on a weekly lockout, so a single character gets one 1% attempt every 7 days.

  • Yogg-Saron can be fought with 4, 3, 2, 1 or 0 of the Ulduar Keepers assisting. Mimiron's Head only drops from the 0-Keeper version, where Freya, Hodir, Mimiron and Thorim give the raid no help at all. That removes the encounter's damage, healing and Sanity support, which is why this is sold as a skilled service and not a repeat farm.

  • There is no fixed number. At roughly 1% per 0-Keeper Yogg-Saron kill in 25-player Heroic Ulduar, half of all farms need about 69 attempts and roughly a quarter finish inside 28. On one character at one weekly lockout each, that is why orders are priced in blocks of 1, 5, 10 and 25 run cycles rather than as a guaranteed carry.

  • Mimiron's Head is priced per run cycle — one 0-Keeper Yogg-Saron kill inside its weekly Ulduar lockout. A single cycle is $5.39, five cycles are $26.95, ten are $53.90 and twenty-five are $134.75. Self-play Remote adds 30%, Express adds 20% and Super Express adds 40% on top of the cycle block you pick.

  • Yes. Mimiron's Head is Bind on Pickup, so the 0-Keeper Yogg-Saron kill has to be completed on your own character, but once the mount is looted it is added to your account-wide mount collection and every character on the account can use it. It can never be traded or mailed to you afterwards.

  • Yes. Mimiron's Head farming runs on every US realm, PvE and PvP, and US is the default region on this page. Each weekly 0-Keeper Yogg-Saron attempt is scheduled around your own Tuesday raid reset in ET or PT, support answers during US business hours, and EU realms are priced on the region switch above.

  • More characters give you more attempts, not better odds. Every character has its own weekly Ulduar lockout, so five geared characters produce five 0-Keeper Yogg-Saron kills a week instead of one. The drop chance stays at roughly 1% per kill no matter how many alts you bring.
