Violet Proto-Drake is the reward for What A Long, Strange Trip It's Been, a 50-point world-events meta that wants the holiday meta-achievement from all 8 major seasonal events: Lunar Festival (To Honor One's Elders), Love is in the Air (Fool For Love), Noblegarden (Noble Gardener), Children's Week (For the Children), Midsummer Fire Festival (The Flame Warden or The Flame Keeper), Brewfest (Brewmaster), Hallow's End (Hallowed Be Thy Name) and Winter Veil (Merrymaker). Pilgrim's Bounty is not on the list, and Blizzard stated back in 2009 that it never would be.

Read this before you buy: the drake is calendar-gated, not hour-gated. If you have already missed several holidays this year, no number of purchased hours finishes the meta this month. Each event opens for one window a year and its achievements are only completable while that window is live. That is the honest shape of the order, and it is why we work each holiday as it opens and bill it as its own hourly block rather than pretending one booking closes the whole meta.

The next two windows are why this is listed today. Brewfest runs September 20 to October 6, 2026, and Brewmaster is 5 achievements including joining the Brew of the Month Club for 200 Brewfest Prize Tokens and downing Coren Direbrew in Blackrock Depths. Hallow's End runs October 18 to November 1, 2026, and Hallowed Be Thy Name is the heaviest single event at 11 achievements, Headless Horseman kills and the Sinister Squashling and Hallowed Helm included. After those come Winter Veil from December 15, Lunar Festival on a shifting Lunar New Year date, Love is in the Air from February 7 to 20, Noblegarden on Easter week, Children's Week from May 1 to 7, and Midsummer from June 21 to July 5.

Realistic timeline. A player starting clean at Brewfest on September 20, 2026 lands the mount at Midsummer 2027, about 9 months out, because Midsummer is the last window in that loop. Across the 8 metas sit more than 60 individual achievements. Every holiday is booked on its own at the same rate: 2 hours for $26.99, 4 for $53.99, 6 for $80.99, or 10 for $134.99. Small events such as Children's Week close inside one 2-hour block, while Hallow's End and Lunar Festival usually want 6 to 10.

Reward and delivery. The meta is account-wide and the Reins of the Violet Proto-Drake are added to your Warband collection automatically the moment the eighth holiday ticks, so every character on the account can ride it. It no longer teaches Master Riding, which was pulled in patch 5.0.4. Unlike our lockout-gated raid farms, nothing here is capped by a weekly reset, only by the calendar. US is the default region with its own ladder and EU has a separate one. Piloted is standard, Self-play Remote adds 30%, Express adds 20%, Super Express adds 40%, all scheduled in ET or PT on timesaver.gg.
