ARC Raiders Wolfpack Blueprint: How to Get It, Farm Locations & Craft Cost

The Wolfpack is one of the hardest-hitting throwables in ARC Raiders, and almost every new Raider hits the same wall: they find the grenade in a Deck or a quest, love it, then have no idea how to make more. The catch is that the Wolfpack blueprint only scavenges under one specific map condition, and if you farm it wrong you can run twenty raids and never see it.

Quick answer: The Wolfpack blueprint scavenges from Residential Containers on any map during the Night Raid major map condition, and it's also in the Trials reward pool and the Expedition Mystery Reward pool. It is the recipe for the Epic Wolfpack grenade (166 damage × 12 homing missiles, 100m radius). Once learned, you craft each Wolfpack at an Explosives Station 3 from 1× Explosive Compound + 2× ARC Motion Core + 1× Rocketeer Driver. The finished grenade itself is also handed out by the Out of the Shadows quest, the Ascending the Mountain and Trophy Display projects, and the AR/RD 001 Raider Deck — but those give the item, not the blueprint. Night Raid scavenging is the most reliable on-demand source if you want an endless supply.

What is the Wolfpack in ARC Raiders?

The Wolfpack is an Epic Quick-Use grenade. Per its in-game card, it is "a grenade that scatters into multiple homing missiles, each one targeting ARC and dealing explosive damage on impact." You throw it near a machine, it detonates after a short delay, and 12 missiles peel off and lock onto every ARC within range.

Hard numbers, straight from the Wolfpack item page:

StatValue
RarityEpic
TypeQuick Use → Grenade
Damage166 × 12 missiles
Radius100 m
Weight1.0
Sell value6,000 Coins
Recycles into1× ARC Motion Core + 1× Explosive Compound
Salvages into2× Explosive Compound

It is described on the wiki as "the big brother of the Seeker Grenade," and that is exactly how it plays: the Seeker is a cheap single-target homing grenade for smaller ARC, while the Wolfpack is a boss-deleter. It shreds the big airborne and armored machines — Rocketeers, Vaporizers, Bastions, and Bombardiers — because its 12 missiles all lock onto nearby ARC and pile explosive damage onto whatever's in range. Throw it at an isolated heavy and most of that damage lands on one target; drop it in a pack and the missiles will split across several machines. One Wolfpack into a committed Rocketeer is often the difference between a clean extract and a wipe.

How do you get the Wolfpack blueprint?

There are three ways to obtain the blueprint (the recipe you learn in Speranza):

  • Scavenging — found in Residential Containers, on any map, but only during the Night Raid map condition.
  • Trials reward — the Wolfpack blueprint is in the Trials reward pool, so a Trials tier can hand it to you directly.
  • Expedition Mystery Reward — Embark includes the Wolfpack blueprint in the Expedition Mystery Reward pool, so a departure can also grant it. (What you receive depends on your personal Expedition progression, and note that any learned blueprint resets when you voluntarily depart on an Expedition — see the crafting section below.)

There is no quest that gives the blueprint. This is the part that trips people up, because several sources of the finished grenade exist and get confused with the recipe:

  • Out of the Shadows quest → gives 2× Wolfpack (the item)
  • Ascending the Mountain project (Part 1, Stage 2) → 2× Wolfpack
  • Trophy Display project (Part 1, Stage 4) → 5× Wolfpack
  • Raider Deck AR/RD 001: Ryder & Voyager, Page 2 "ARC HUNTER PACK" → 3× Wolfpack

Those are great for stocking a few grenades early, but they run dry. If you want to keep throwing Wolfpacks, learn the blueprint and craft them.

Wolfpack blueprint farm: why Night Raid is mandatory

This is the whole trick. On the community-maintained ARC Raiders Wiki Blueprints table, the Wolfpack row is flagged "Condition Only → Night Raid" (the table footnotes that exact spawn locations aren't fully confirmed). That means the blueprint does not enter the scavenging loot pool during normal daytime raids. Load into a standard raid and search residential drawers all day — it will not appear. You have to be in a raid running the Night Raid major map condition.

Two things follow from that:

  • Watch the Map Condition timer. Conditions are visible in the deploy screen; countdowns appear roughly 60 minutes before a condition goes live. Queue into a map that is currently under Night Raid.
  • Night Raid is a "×2" condition for blueprints. The wiki notes that blueprints for rare and epic items are "more commonly found during ×2 Major Map Conditions." Night Raid is one of those, so it does double duty here: it is both the only window the Wolfpack BP spawns in and a window where Epic blueprint odds are elevated. (Treat that as "better odds," not a literal guaranteed 2× rate.)

Because the blueprint is not map-locked, you are free to pick whichever Night Raid map you are most comfortable extracting from. Raiders on r/ArcRaiders report finding it across several maps once the condition is active — the common thread is always residential-type loot.

Where do Raiders find the Wolfpack blueprint? (community-reported spots)

"Residential Containers" is a container category, not a single box — it covers the domestic furniture you loot in living areas: kitchen cabinets, dresser drawers, wardrobes, blue suitcases, and office desks. During a Night Raid, hit dense residential interiors and open everything. Spots Raiders have repeatedly reported pulling the Wolfpack blueprint from:

  • Dam Battlegrounds — residential blocks on a Night Raid (a very commonly cited first find).
  • The Spaceport — the control tower, 2nd floor, and the departure building, 3rd-floor desks (check every desk; several players found it in the last desk with the clock running).
  • Riven Tides — the Hotel interiors and a Port Authority locked room (one player pulled two blueprints from a single locked room here).

The pattern is consistent: go where the domestic furniture is densest, on a Night Raid, and clear it methodically. Remember that furniture appearance alone doesn't guarantee a loot pool — container contents can vary by location and condition — so open everything rather than cherry-picking.

Night Raid also changes how you plan the raid itself, and a farm run has to account for it:

  • No Free Loadout. You can't deploy on a free kit during Night Raid (disabled in patch 1.33.0), so bring gear you're willing to lose on a scavenging run.
  • No active Raider Hatches and fewer active Return Points. Extraction is harder and routes are longer — plan your exit before you commit to deep residential interiors, not after your bag is full.
  • More ARC, higher density. The same condition that spawns the blueprint also floods the map with machines and other Raiders. Loot fast, don't over-stay, and keep the exit in mind.

How do you craft the Wolfpack after learning it?

Once you have the blueprint, select it in Speranza and choose "Learn and Consume" — the blueprint is consumed and the recipe unlocks for your current Raider progression (already-learned recipes show a ✓ and can't be re-consumed). One thing to know: crafting unlocks aren't a permanent account reward — if you voluntarily depart on an Expedition, your learned blueprints reset, which is exactly why Ermal's Expedition Vault exists to carry your most valued blueprints across. After learning it, each Wolfpack is built at an Explosives Station 3 from:

IngredientQty
Explosive Compound1
ARC Motion Core2
Rocketeer Driver1

The Rocketeer Driver is the bottleneck — it comes off Rocketeers, so your crafting loop naturally pairs with fighting the same heavy machines the Wolfpack counters. Stockpile Motion Cores and Explosive Compound while you farm, and you can keep a steady supply of Wolfpacks for your hardest raids.

Short on time, or just want the grenades and blueprints without grinding Night Raids? We can farm them for you.

Is the Wolfpack worth crafting?

Yes — with a caveat. At a listed 166 × 12 missile damage inside a 100m radius, it is one of the most efficient single-throw answers to armored and airborne ARC, and it recycles back into an ARC Motion Core plus Explosive Compound if you decide to break one down. But it is an Epic: the craft eats a Rocketeer Driver every time, and each grenade sells for 6,000 Coins, so throwing one is a real economic decision. Save Wolfpacks for the machines that actually threaten your extract — a lone Rocketeer camping your exit, a Bastion in the open, a Vaporizer you can't out-position — and use Seekers or gunfire on the small stuff.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where does the Wolfpack blueprint drop in ARC Raiders? From Residential Containers on any map while that map is running the Night Raid major map condition. It's also in the Trials reward pool and the Expedition Mystery Reward pool. It does not scavenge in normal daytime raids.

Can I get the Wolfpack blueprint from a quest? No. Quests and projects give the finished grenade — Out of the Shadows (2×), Ascending the Mountain (2×), Trophy Display (5×) — but none of them give the blueprint. The recipe comes from Night Raid scavenging, a Trials reward, or an Expedition Mystery Reward.

What's the fastest way to farm the Wolfpack blueprint? Queue into a map currently under Night Raid, then clear dense residential interiors (kitchens, dressers, wardrobes, suitcases, desks). Dam residential blocks, the Spaceport control tower/departure desks, and Riven Tides Hotel are all commonly reported spots. Night Raid also boosts Epic blueprint odds, so it's the best possible window.

How much does it cost to craft a Wolfpack? After learning the blueprint, each one costs 1× Explosive Compound + 2× ARC Motion Core + 1× Rocketeer Driver at an Explosives Station 3.

What is the Wolfpack good against? Big machines: Rocketeers, Vaporizers, Bastions, and Bombardiers. Its 12 missiles home onto nearby ARC and pile explosive damage on what's in range — against an isolated heavy, most of it lands on that one target, making it one of the best throwables for deleting a heavy ARC quickly.

How is the Wolfpack different from the Seeker Grenade? The wiki calls the Wolfpack "the big brother of the Seeker Grenade." Both fire homing missiles, but the Wolfpack is Epic and hits far harder (166 × 12), so it's a dedicated boss-killer rather than a crowd-control tool.
