Diablo 4 Patch 3.2.2 (Build #73764) is live on September 30, 2026, across PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. It is a pure bug-fix patch for Season of Hell's Legacy (Season 15) — no balance numbers, no new loot, just fixes that clear quest soft-locks, restore missing dungeon rewards, and shut down two Runeword exploits. If your seasonal questline stalled at the Worldstone Chamber, or the Chamber of Bone handed you nothing, this is the patch you were waiting for.
Below is every line from Blizzard's official 3.2.2 notes, grouped by what it actually means for your run — plus what to re-do on patch day to reclaim the progress a bug ate.

When 3.2.2 goes live and what kind of patch it is
Blizzard published the 3.2.2 notes on the official Diablo IV Patch Notes page, tagged Build #73764, All Platforms, September 30, 2026. Expect a standard client download and a short region-dependent maintenance window when the build flips.
This is not a balance dump. As Blizzard's own framing puts it, the team "has been monitoring your feedback… as we introduce patches to keep your experience in Sanctuary smooth." Every entry in 3.2.2 is a fix: quest progression, dungeon rewards, Runeword behavior, one boss-arena escape, two class/rune interactions, Tower map icons, controller UI leftovers, and a mounted-interaction bug. Treat it as a stability-and-fairness patch that removes the workarounds Hell's Legacy players had been living with since launch.
Season of Hell's Legacy fixes (the ones that matter)
This is the block most players care about. Seven fixes, and several of them were hard blockers.
| Fix | What was broken | What it means now |
|---|---|---|
| Worldstone Chamber portal | Entering the portal too quickly could make the Seasonal questline uncompletable | The questline can be finished normally — re-enter and progress |
| Lester's Farm hive | Going down the hive too fast could block dungeon progression | Speed-clears no longer soft-lock the dungeon |
| Chamber of Bone | Completing it did not give rewards | The reward loop fires again — re-clear once to confirm your drops |
| Edge Runeword | Let you gain two items at a time from the Purveyor of Curiosities | Exploit removed; one item per pull as intended |
| Lore Runeword Helm | Wearing it made the helm invisible | Cosmetic fixed; your helm shows again |
| Nihlathak | Could teleport outside the Boss Arena during the fight | The Season 15 boss stays in his arena — cleaner clears |
| Henri's Perquisition | The Unique Charm could not be crafted in the Horadric Cube | Craftable again via the Horadric Cube |
The three that were genuine progression-killers are the Worldstone Chamber soft-lock, the Lester's Farm hive block, and the Chamber of Bone reward bug. If any of those hit you before September 30, the content is now clearable — you do not need a support ticket or a new character.
The Edge Runeword change is the one exploit fix here: it had been double-dipping loot from the Purveyor of Curiosities. If you leaned on it, expect normal drop rates from now on.
Boss and dungeon fixes: Nihlathak and Chamber of Bone
Two of the marquee Season of Hell's Legacy activities got un-broken in the same patch.
Nihlathak — the returning Diablo II villain who anchors the S15 boss arena — could previously teleport outside the arena mid-fight, forcing awkward resets. 3.2.2 keeps him inside the arena, which matters for consistent, timed clears and for anyone farming him for drops. (For the full fight, our Nihlathak boss guide walks the mechanics.)
Chamber of Bone — a Hell's Legacy dungeon — had a much worse bug: completing it gave no rewards at all. Post-3.2.2, treat it as a normal reward loop again. The practical move on patch day is to re-clear it once to confirm the drop table is firing for your character before you commit a full farm session to it.

Class and rune fixes: Druid, Sorcerer, and Sol
Only two class interactions and one rune are touched — but they were meaningful.
- Druid — Pulverize: Fixed an issue where Pulverize could indefinitely immobilize a Staggered boss. This was effectively a permanent lock on bosses in the Stagger window; it is now gone, so boss fights play out as designed.
- Sorcerer — Incinerate: Fixed an issue where burning damage from the Incinerate Enchantment did not trigger the Tal rune. Sorc builds routing damage through Tal will now see it proc off Incinerate burns as expected.
- Sol Rune: Fixed an issue where the damage reduction from the Sol Rune did not activate when expected. Defensive rune setups leaning on Sol get their intended survivability back.
None of these are balance re-tunes — they are bugs that were either handing a free win (Pulverize permalock) or quietly stealing power (Tal not proccing, Sol DR not firing).
Tower, UI, and miscellaneous fixes
The remaining fixes are quality-of-life, but a couple are easy to miss:
- The Tower — Artificer's Obelisk: Fixed an issue where the Obelisk did not show rewards were available on the Map and Minimap icon. If you had been ignoring the Obelisk because it looked empty, check it again — the icon now surfaces available rewards.
- UI/UX: The leaderboard button that was still visible in Eternal on Controller is fixed, and pinned currency is now highlighted in the Stats & Materials tab.
- Miscellaneous: Mounted players can now interact with the Horadric Post (previously blocked), plus "various stability, performance, and visual improvements."
Patch-day checklist: reclaim what a bug ate
Because 3.2.2 restores blocked progress rather than changing power, the value is in re-doing the content a bug broke:
- Log out and back in after the build flips if seasonal objectives look stale.
- If your Seasonal questline stalled at the Worldstone Chamber, re-enter the portal and continue — it can now complete.
- If Lester's Farm hive progression died on a speed clear, re-run it.
- Re-clear the Chamber of Bone once to confirm rewards are dropping.
- Craft Henri's Perquisition in the Horadric Cube if you were blocked before.
- Check the Artificer's Obelisk in the Tower for rewards you may have skipped.
That is the whole patch: no new grind, just the removal of the old workarounds.

FAQ
When does Diablo 4 Patch 3.2.2 go live? Patch 3.2.2 (Build #73764) goes live on September 30, 2026, on all platforms — PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. Blizzard circulated the notes ahead of the client update, but the build lands on the 30th.
Does Patch 3.2.2 change any class balance? No. There are no balance numbers in 3.2.2 — no buffs, nerfs, or new uniques. The only class-related entries are bug fixes: Druid's Pulverize no longer indefinitely immobilizes a Staggered boss, and the Sorcerer's Incinerate Enchantment now triggers the Tal rune correctly.
My Season 15 questline is stuck at the Worldstone Chamber — does 3.2.2 fix it? Yes. Blizzard fixed the issue where entering the Worldstone Chamber portal too quickly could make the Seasonal questline uncompletable. After the patch, re-enter and continue the questline normally.
Why was the Chamber of Bone giving no rewards, and is it fixed? A bug caused completing the Chamber of Bone to award nothing. 3.2.2 fixes it. Re-clear the dungeon once after the patch to confirm the drop table is firing for your character before committing to a farm.
Can I craft Henri's Perquisition now? Yes. The Henri's Perquisition Unique Charm could not be crafted in the Horadric Cube before 3.2.2; that is now fixed and it is craftable again.
What was the Edge Runeword exploit? The Edge Runeword let players gain two items at a time from the Purveyor of Curiosities. 3.2.2 removes the double-dip, so pulls return the intended single item.
