Pokemon GO Wild Area 2026 Global: Dates, Ticket, Spawns and Raids

Pokemon GO Wild Area 2026 Global is the free-to-join worldwide weekend that closes out this year's GO Wild Area, and it is the headline event of November 2026 in the Twilight Trails season. It brings the debuts of Dynamax Dialga, Dynamax Palkia and Gigantamax Duraludon, two days of mighty Pokemon, Steel and Dragon habitat hours, and an optional US$11.99 ticket. This guide covers the exact dates and hours, what is free versus what the ticket adds, the full spawn and raid lineup by day, whether the ticket is worth buying, and an hour-by-hour plan. It applies to the November 14 and 15, 2026 Global event; details are checked against the official GO Wild Area: Global page and cross-checked against Leek Duck and Pokemon GO Hub.

Quick answer (last checked October 21, 2026, 04:50 UTC): GO Wild Area 2026: Global runs Saturday, November 14 and Sunday, November 15, 2026, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time each day, anywhere in the world. Everyone gets up to 3 free Raid Passes a day, a 1,600 Max Particle daily cap, GO Safari Balls and mighty Pokemon. The optional US$11.99 ticket raises that to 6 Raid Passes and 3,200 Max Particles, adds 2x Candy, a better Shiny chance, mighty Latias and Latios from Incense, and Special Research ending in a Gigantamax Duraludon encounter. Dynamax Dialga is Saturday only and Dynamax Palkia is Sunday only.

When is Pokemon GO Wild Area 2026 Global?

GO Wild Area 2026 is a three-stage run in November. The in-person city events come first, then a week-long lead-in event for everyone, then the Global weekend.

StageDates (2026)HoursWho can play
GO Wild Area: Sendai (Japan)Fri Nov 6 to Sun Nov 810:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.In-person ticket holders
GO Wild Area: Mexico CityFri Nov 6 to Sun Nov 8Per official city pageIn-person ticket holders
Into the WildMon Nov 9, 10:00 a.m. to Fri Nov 13, 8:00 p.m.All dayEveryone, free
GO Wild Area: GlobalSat Nov 14 and Sun Nov 1510:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local, each dayEveryone; ticket optional

The Global event is two separate eight-hour windows, not one continuous 32-hour block. Bonuses, habitat spawns and GO Safari Balls only work between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. in your own time zone; the one exception is the ticket's trade bonuses, which run all day. Leek Duck lists the hours the same way: "10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. local time each day."

The official in-person pages price one-day city tickets at ¥4,000 in Sendai and MXN$350 in Mexico City, so the US$11.99 Global ticket is the cheaper way to get the headline debuts from home. If you went to a city event, you still need a separate Global ticket for the Global Special Research.

What is free and what does the US$11.99 ticket add?

Everything below matches the official ticket description as published by Leek Duck and Pokemon GO Hub. The ticket numbers are totals, not extras stacked on top of the free numbers.

One catch that affects everyone: Daily Discoveries are paused from November 9 at 12:01 a.m. to November 15 at 11:59 p.m. local time, so plan around losing those for a week.

The official Global page puts the research hook simply: "Ticket-holding Trainers can claim an exclusive Special Research story when Pokémon GO Wild Area: Global begins on November 14, 2026!"

Which Pokemon spawn during GO Wild Area 2026 Global?

Wild spawns alternate between two habitats on the hour, on both days. Everything listed can be Shiny.

HabitatActive hours (Sat and Sun, local)Spawns
Solid as Steel Hour10-11 a.m., 12-1 p.m., 2-3 p.m., 4-5 p.m.Alolan Sandshrew, Alolan Diglett, Magnemite, Shellder, Onix, Porygon, Shuckle, Skarmory, Nosepass, Aron, Beldum, Piplup, Shieldon, Bronzor, Lucario, Drilbur, Ferroseed, Klink, Galarian Stunfisk, Durant, Rookidee, Tinkatink

The Dragon hours are the money hours for Candy: Dratini, Bagon, Gible, Deino, Goomy, Jangmo-o and Frigibax all have 125-plus Candy evolution lines, and the ticket doubles every catch. Steel hours are your Beldum and Aron window.

10 km Eggs picked up during the event hatch Honedge, Klefki, Drampa or Duraludon, all Shiny-eligible.

What are mighty Pokemon and which ones appear each day?

Mighty Pokemon are rarer, tougher-to-catch spawns that are more likely to have high Attack, Defense and HP ratings and to be XL or XXL. The wild lineup changes by day.

DayWild mighty Pokemon
Saturday, Nov 14Alolan Exeggutor, Scizor, Flygon, Walrein, Metagross, Empoleon, Magnezone, Conkeldurr, Haxorus
Sunday, Nov 15Azumarill, Kingdra, Aggron, Ferrothorn, Hydreigon, Goodra, Noivern, Tinkaton, Clodsire

From Incense on both days (Daily Adventure Incense excluded), everyone can pull mighty Alolan Exeggutor, Azumarill, Scizor, Kingdra, Aggron, Flygon, Empoleon, Magnezone, Conkeldurr and Hydreigon. Ticket holders add Unown D, I, L and W, plus the rare mighty Latias and Latios, which flee fast.

GO Safari Balls are the whole point here. They only work 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on event days and vanish from your bag when the event ends, so throw them at mighty spawns instead of saving them.

How do Dynamax Dialga, Dynamax Palkia and Gigantamax Duraludon work?

Official art of Gigantamax Duraludon for GO Wild Area 2026

These are the three debuts and the main reason the weekend matters.

PokemonDayWhereTypingWeak to
Dynamax DialgaSaturday, Nov 14 onlyMax BattlesSteel / DragonFighting, Ground
Dynamax PalkiaSunday, Nov 15 onlyMax BattlesWater / DragonDragon, Fairy
Gigantamax DuraludonBoth daysSix-star Max BattlesSteel / DragonFighting, Ground

If you want both Dynamax legendaries, you have to play both days; there is no overlap. Gigantamax Duraludon is a six-star Max Battle, which means a coordinated group, not a solo. Ticket holders get a research encounter with Gigantamax Duraludon with a Special Background from the Special Research, which is the safest way to get one if your local group is small.

Max Battles run on Max Particles, which is why the cap matters. The free 1,600 cap covers a handful of battles a day; the ticket's 3,200 cap plus increased particles from Power Spots and exploration is what lets you actually farm Dialga or Palkia. Collect everything in the Nearby menu first, or the exploration bonus does not apply.

Dialga, Palkia, Gigantamax Duraludon, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem and the costumed Machamp caught from raids or Max Battles during the event can come with a commemorative Special Background.

Which raids are in GO Wild Area 2026 Global?

Official art of Machamp wearing a modern jacket for GO Wild Area 2026

DayFive-star raidsThree-star raids
Saturday, Nov 14Zekrom, White KyuremMachamp wearing a modern jacket
Sunday, Nov 15Reshiram, Black KyuremMachamp wearing a modern jacket

Two details that change how you raid:

  • Fusion Energy. Beating White Kyurem or Black Kyurem awards Fusion Energy, the currency for fusing your own Kyurem. Kyurem caught from raids may know Glaciate.
  • Costumed Machamp is new and Shiny-eligible, and knows the featured Fast Attack Karate Chop.

Quick counters by typing (a single weakness is 1.6x damage in Pokemon GO): Zekrom (Dragon/Electric) is weak to Ground, Ice, Dragon and Fairy. White and Black Kyurem (Dragon/Ice) are weak to Fighting, Rock, Steel, Dragon and Fairy. Reshiram (Dragon/Fire) is weak to Ground, Rock and Dragon. Machamp is weak to Flying, Psychic and Fairy.

Which featured attacks should you evolve for?

Certain Pokemon caught or evolved during the event learn a featured move. These are worth timing your evolutions for:

PokemonFeatured attack
Machamp wearing a modern jacketKarate Chop (Fast)
FlygonEarth Power (Charged)
MetagrossMeteor Mash (Charged)
MagnezoneMagnet Bomb (Charged)
HaxorusBreaking Swipe (Charged)
HydreigonBrutal Swing (Charged)
TinkatonGigaton Hammer (Charged)

Meteor Mash Metagross is the headline: Beldum spawns in every Steel hour, so a high-IV Metang evolved between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. gets the move without an Elite TM.

What happens during Into the Wild, the week before?

Into the Wild (November 9, 10:00 a.m. to November 13, 8:00 p.m. local) is a free lead-in that sets up the Global weekend. The official post confirms the Remote Raid limit rises to 30 from Monday, November 9, to Friday, November 13, and that Dynamax Regidrago debuts in five-star Max Battles while Dynamax Meltan debuts through GO Pass: Into the Wild.

Pokemon GO Hub's schedule adds a nightly 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Raid Hour or Max Battle Hour for the week: Crowned Sword Zacian (Monday), Crowned Shield Zamazenta (Tuesday), Dynamax Registeel (Wednesday), Dynamax Regidrago (Thursday) and Dynamax Latias and Latios (Friday). Shiny Gimmighoul returns from Coin Bags and Shiny Meltan from the Mystery Box.

Practical tip: Into the Wild burns Max Particles all week. If you plan to grind Dynamax Dialga and Palkia on the weekend, do not drain your stock on Friday night.

For everything happening before then, including Halloween, see our Pokemon GO events this week page, refreshed every Monday.

Is the GO Wild Area 2026 Global ticket worth it?

Our verdict: yes if you will play at least four of the eight hours on both days; skip it if you can only play one short session. That four-hour line is our judgment, not an official figure.

The value math:

  • Raid Passes. The ticket raises the free daily passes from 3 to 6, so 6 extra over the weekend. Free passes are collected one at a time from Gyms and used during the event, so they are not bankable, but replacing them with Premium Battle Passes at 100 PokéCoins each would cost about 600 PokéCoins, which on the standard coin bundles is roughly half the ticket price.
  • Gigantamax Duraludon. A research encounter with a Special Background, while the six-star Max Battle otherwise needs a full group.
  • 2x Candy for 16 hours of Dragon-heavy spawns. If you are building Dragonite, Garchomp, Salamence, Hydreigon or Baxcalibur, this is one of the strongest Candy weekends of the season.
  • Double Max Particle cap. Without it you get only a few Dialga or Palkia attempts per day.
  • Latias and Latios. Rare, but mighty versions only appear for ticket holders.

When it is not worth it: you are a casual player, you will not raid, and you will log in for an hour. Everything that matters for a casual player (habitat spawns, mighty Pokemon, GO Safari Balls, Dialga and Palkia Max Battles, 3 free passes a day) is free.

Buy the ticket on the official Pokemon GO Web Store, logged in with the same account you play on.

What is the best hour-by-hour plan for Wild Area Global?

Use the same plan both days, swapping the Max Battle target (Dialga on Saturday, Palkia on Sunday).
