Wikelo is the Banu trader who swaps Star Citizen's rarest loot for ships, armor and guns, and he never pays a single aUEC. You bring him what he asks for, drop it in his freight elevator and he sends back a ship with a better loadout than the store version. This guide covers everything you need for Alpha 4.10.2, the live build as of October 28, 2026: where his three Emporium stations are, how Wikelo Favors work, which ship trades are worth chasing, and what changed when 4.10 added crafting to his ship deals.
Quick answer (Alpha 4.10.2): Wikelo runs three Wikelo Emporium asteroid stations in Stanton: Dasi Station (near Hurston), Selo Station (near Yela, Crusader) and Kinga Station (near microTech). Start with the Wikelo Arrive to System intro contract in your Contract Manager. After that, you accept collection contracts in person inside the Emporium and turn items in through the freight elevator. Most ship trades cost Wikelo Favors. You earn 1 Favor for 50 MG Scrip, 50 Council Scrip, 50 Carinite or 12 Irradiated Valakkar Pearls (Grade AA). Cheap starter ship trades: the MISC Fortune (3 Favors + 1 Carinite (Pure)) and the Crusader Intrepid (3 Favors + 1 Government Cartography Agency Medal (Pristine)). Since 4.10, the newest ship trades ask you to craft a specific item from a single-use blueprint. Armor and weapon trades now also leave you a blueprint. Wikelo rewards can be wiped: the 4.8 full wipe on May 14, 2026 reset them.
Who is Wikelo in Star Citizen?
Wikelo is a Banu merchant. He was the first non-human NPC added to Star Citizen, arriving with his three Emporium stations in Alpha 4.1 (March 2025). The starcitizen.tools Wikelo page quotes the dev pitch from Inside Star Citizen: he "decided to move to human space and set up sort of a fabrication shop/trading site location for players to go visit and basically he can kind of make you some cool stuff if you bring him what he needs."
That last part is the whole game loop. Per the Wikelo Emporium wiki entry, Wikelo "never pays the players any money." He pays in goods: armor sets, weapon skins, components and, most importantly, ships with upgraded loadouts. According to the wiki, most of his reward ships come with class-specific loadouts in which every component is grade A or B.
Why players care in 4.10.2:
- It skips the aUEC grind. A Constellation Mk IV Taurus costs around 7.64 million aUEC at New Deal in Lorville (UEX sample, about October 17, 2026). Wikelo's Taurus War Special costs Favors and rare items instead.
- The rewards are tuned versions. Wikelo "Special" ships ship with class-specific military, stealth, industrial or competition loadouts, not stock parts.
- It gives your loot a purpose. Scrip, pearls, ASD drives and medals that are hard to sell elsewhere all feed into Wikelo trades.
Where are the Wikelo Emporium locations?
All three Emporiums are asteroid bases in the Stanton system, and each one hosts the same shop:
| Station | Nearby planet | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Wikelo Emporium Dasi Station | Hurston | "Dasi" is Banu for 1st |
| Wikelo Emporium Selo Station | Yela (Crusader) | "Selo" is Banu for 2nd |
| Wikelo Emporium Kinga Station | microTech | "Kinga" is Banu for 3rd |
(Source: starcitizen.tools location pages for Dasi, Selo and Kinga.)
Pick the station closest to where you farm. Contracts are turned in at the specific Emporium where you accepted them, and rewards appear in that station's local inventory. If you mine Carinite on Daymar, Selo near Yela is the natural home base. If you grind Mercenary Guild contracts around Hurston, use Dasi.
One 4.10 change matters here. When a ship trade completes, Wikelo's terminal asks if you want the ship now or later. "Later" sends it to your home hangar. "Now" lowers the landing pad, sends your current ship home and raises the new one. You cannot store ships in Wikelo's hangar; anything left there gets returned to your own.
How do you start Wikelo's contracts?
Here is the flow from a fresh character:
- Accept "Wikelo Arrive to System". This is the introduction contract, picked up from your Contract Manager in mobiGlas.
- Fly to an Emporium and go inside. Wikelo's real contracts are accepted physically in the station's bazaar, not from mobiGlas.
- Read the holograms and signs. Each trade shows what Wikelo wants and what he gives back.
- Collect the items. Mine, loot or earn them in the field.
- Load the freight elevator at the same Emporium and send it down.
- Collect your reward from the Emporium's local inventory (armor and weapons come back up the elevator).
Watch the Carinite trap: the in-store hologram for the Carinite-to-Favor deal says 40, but the contract actually requires 50 (per the Wikelo Favor wiki page, checked against 4.10.2-LIVE data). Bring 50.
How do you get Wikelo Favors fast?
Wikelo Favors are the currency behind almost every good trade. You can't buy, loot or craft them. You only get them by trading these currency contracts at the Emporium:
| Contract | You hand in | You get |
|---|---|---|
| Trade Merc Scrip for Favors? | 50 MG Scrip | 1 Wikelo Favor |
| Trade Council Scrip for Favors? | 50 Council Scrip | 1 Wikelo Favor |
| Turn Things to Favor | 50 Carinite | 1 Wikelo Favor |
| Trade Worm Parts for Favors? | 12 Irradiated Valakkar Pearl (Grade AA) | 1 Wikelo Favor |
| Want Polaris? Need something special. | 24 SCU Quantainium | 1 Polaris Bit (not a Favor) |
(Source: starcitizen.tools Wikelo collection contracts.)
Which route fits which player:
- Combat players: MG Scrip. The Mercenary Guild awards MG Scrip for completing its contracts. If you already run bounties, this is the low-friction path. Our bounty hunting guide covers the contract ladder.
- Ground and cave players: Carinite. Carinite only appears on Aberdeen and Daymar, in caves exposed by the Hathor orbital laser platforms. Rare Carinite (Pure) veins also spawn there, and several ship trades need the pure version.
- Miners: Quantainium for Polaris Bits. 24 SCU per Bit is a big ask, but miners already fill holds with it. See our Star Citizen mining guide for where to find it and how to refine it without blowing up.
A realistic goal for a first evening is 3 Favors. That's enough for the Fortune or Intrepid trade below.
What are the Wikelo reputation ranks?
Since Alpha 4.5, Wikelo tracks reputation. Completing certain trades raises your rank, and higher ranks unlock extra contracts. The three ranks are:
- New Customer (start)
- Very Good Customer
- Very Best Customer
Most trades on the wiki have no rank requirement. The exceptions are the headline ones. Most Special Wolf (a Kruger L-21 Wolf Wikelo War Special plus Midnight Sun Antium armor and a Fresnel "Deepwater" LMG for 5 Favors) needs Very Good Customer. The Aegis Idris-P Wikelo War Special needs Very Best Customer, the top rank.
Which Wikelo ship trades are worth it in Alpha 4.10.2?
The wiki lists more than 30 ship trades. These are the ones most players should look at first, with costs from the starcitizen.tools Wikelo contract tables (4.10.2-LIVE data):
| Ship reward | Wikelo cost | Loadout class | Why it's worth it |
|---|---|---|---|
| MISC Fortune Wikelo Special | 3 Favors + 1 Carinite (Pure) | Civilian | One of the cheapest ship trades; a small salvage ship |
| Crusader Intrepid Wikelo Work Special | 3 Favors + 1 GCA Medal (Pristine) | None listed | Starter upgrade with A/B-grade parts |
| Aegis Sabre Peregrine Wikelo Speedy Special | 4 Favors + 1 DCHS-05 Comp-Board | Competition | Racing-tuned Peregrine |
| Mirai Pulse Wikelo Special | 4 Favors | Civilian | Grav-bike with no rare item needed |
| MISC Prospector Wikelo Work Special | 6 Favors + 20 Carinite + 30 Saldynium (Ore) + 40 Jaclium (Ore) + 1 Carinite (Pure) | Industrial | Industrial loadout for solo mining |
| Drake Golem Wikelo Work Special | 2 Favors + 15 ASD Secure Drives | Industrial | Mining ship for ASD-facility runners |
| RSI Zeus Mk II ES Wikelo Work Special | 10 Favors + 1 UEE 6th Platoon Medal (Pristine) | Industrial | 2 power plants, 4 shields |
| RSI Constellation Mk IV Taurus Wikelo War Special | 30 Favors + 3 Carinite (Pure) + 3 AAA Pearls + 3 GCA Medals (Pristine) | Military | Big hauler with a military loadout |
| RSI Polaris Wikelo Special | 50 Favors + 15 Polaris Bits + a long list of rare items | — | Capital-class trophy, marked "Short Time Deal" |
| Aegis Idris-P Wikelo War Special | 50 of each headline item + 30 AAA pearls and more | — | Endgame, needs Very Best Customer |
How to read this against aUEC prices: a stock Prospector runs about 2.78 million aUEC and a stock Zeus Mk II CL about 6.46 million aUEC at in-game terminals (UEX samples, October 2026). Wikelo's Zeus Mk II CL trade ("Zeus Cargo Special") costs 20 Favors + 15 Carinite + 10 Ace Interceptor Helmets + 2 Carinite (Pure). Whether that's cheaper depends on your loop. A Carinite farmer gets there faster than a pure trader would by grinding 6.46M aUEC. If you're still deciding which hull suits your play, our best solo ship breakdown for 4.10.2 compares the stock versions.
One caveat: Wikelo rotates and retires contracts. The wiki has marked trades inactive in past patches (4.6.0 and 4.7.1), and the Polaris deal is literally labelled a "Short Time Deal." Always confirm the hologram in the Emporium before you farm for a specific ship. Alpha 4.10.3 has also been on the PTU test servers since October 23, 2026, so expect the list to move again when it goes live.
What changed with Wikelo in Alpha 4.10?
Alpha 4.10 (live August 26, 2026) changed how ship trades work. The patch notes, as mirrored on starcitizen.tools, put it plainly: "Wikelo now asks you to craft a special item for him rather than simply fetch and hand in many different items."
The new ship flow:
- Read the sign in his showroom to see the ship and the item he wants.
- Take the contract from the sign itself.
- Wikelo gives you a single-use blueprint for that item.
- Craft it at a fabricator.
- Send the finished item down the freight elevator and pick "ship now" or "ship later."
On the wiki's current list, the craft-and-deliver ship trades are the Drake Clipper Wikelo War Special (deliver a crafted Metamaterial Test #152) and the Kruger L-22 Alpha Wolf Wikelo War Special (Metamaterial Test #146).
4.10 also added three exchanges: a snow camo BUL-H4 Super Heavy Armor set, a matching Vendetta HMG skin and a ship. There's also a quiet buff: armor and weapon trades now leave you a blueprint, "so you can make more of it yourself later." One hand-in now means unlimited crafted copies.
Alpha 4.10.2 (live October 9, 2026) added more. Per the 4.10.2 patch notes, "Wikelo is now trading recipes for the Gemini LMG and Grey Combat Armour, with a new mission to go with the LMG."
Where do you find Wikelo's rare items?
The Favor routes are only half the shopping list. Ship trades also ask for named rare items. Here's where the wiki places the common ones:
- ASD Secure Drive: a reward from the Jorrit dossier investigation contracts in the ASD Onyx Facility (Updated Power Usage, Energy Anomaly, Security and Seismic Data). It's delivered to your home location.
- Vanduul Plating / Vanduul Metal: found on Vanduul pilot bodies in Nyx, and as lootables in Vanduul tech smuggler contracts.
- Ace Interceptor Helmet: armor loot boxes at Planetary Alignment Facility (PAF) sites, or looted from an Ace Pilot corpse.
- DCHS-05 Orbital Positioning Comp-Board: the treasure vault in the Ruin Station contested zone, behind a door that needs a printed Crypt Keycard. It's also Board 5 in PYAM-EXHANG-0-1.
- Carinite / Carinite (Pure): caves on Aberdeen and Daymar.
- Irradiated Valakkar Pearls: dropped by Irradiated Valakkar. The Grade AAA pearl was called "Super" before Alpha 4.2.1.
Contested zones and Onyx runs are PvP-exposed. Go in with a group or with a ship you can afford to lose.
Can you lose Wikelo ships in a wipe?
Yes. Treat every Wikelo reward like aUEC: valuable now, wipeable later. Before the Alpha 4.8 full wipe on May 14, 2026, CIG's wipe update stated that "earned aUEC, in-game purchased vehicles, items, resources, reputation progression, and Wikelo and Executive Hangar rewards will all be reset with the launch of Alpha 4.8" (quoted by PCGamesN). Blueprints and pledged ships survived. Wikelo ships did not.
Since then, 4.9, 4.10, 4.10.1 and 4.10.2 were all no-wipe patches, so anything you've earned from Wikelo since mid-May is still there. CIG doesn't promise that will hold. Star Citizen is still in Alpha, and aUEC and in-game rewards can be reset at any patch with no reimbursement.
The community is split on this. A thread on r/starcitizen this week arguing that Wikelo rewards should be permanent drew pushback that duplication exploits still exist. One player argued that duped materials were exactly why Wikelo items were swept up in the 4.8 wipe.
Don't buy Wikelo materials or Favors from third parties. RSI's Terms of Service Rules of Conduct ban gathering in-game items or resources for sale outside the game and selling Virtual Goods. Bought materials can be duped stock, get removed in the next wipe, and put your account at risk. Farming them yourself is the only safe route.
Is Wikelo worth it for new players?
Yes, at the cheap end. For a new pilot, three Favors is a few evenings of Mercenary Guild contracts or Carinite runs. That turns into a Fortune or an Intrepid with better parts than its store version. If you're still building your first aUEC bankroll, start with our guide to making aUEC fast, then use Wikelo for ships that are hard to afford outright.
The big trades (Taurus, Polaris, Idris-P) are org-scale projects. They take hundreds of rare items, often from contested zones, and they're always exposed to the next wipe. Go for them only if you enjoy the hunt itself.
FAQ
Where is Wikelo in Star Citizen? Wikelo runs three Wikelo Emporium asteroid stations in Stanton: Dasi Station near Hurston, Selo Station near Yela (Crusader) and Kinga Station near microTech. All three offer the same trades. Turn in each contract at the station where you accepted it.
How do you get Wikelo Favors? Trade 50 MG Scrip, 50 Council Scrip, 50 Carinite or 12 Irradiated Valakkar Pearls (Grade AA) at any Wikelo Emporium for 1 Favor each. Favors can't be bought, looted or crafted.
Why won't Wikelo accept my 40 Carinite? The hologram in the shop says 40, but the Turn Things to Favor contract actually requires 50 Carinite. Bring 50.
Does Wikelo pay aUEC? No. Wikelo never pays money. Every reward is an item, a blueprint or a ship, and ships go to the pad or your home hangar.
Are Wikelo ships permanent? No. They survive normal patches but were reset in the Alpha 4.8 full wipe on May 14, 2026, along with earned aUEC and reputation. Pledged ships and blueprints are kept; Wikelo rewards are not guaranteed.
What changed with Wikelo ship trades in 4.10? Newer ship trades ask you to craft a specific item from a single-use blueprint Wikelo gives you, then deliver it by freight elevator. Armor and weapon trades now also leave you a reusable blueprint.
