Quick answer (last checked 17 October 2026, 09:43 UTC, Version 3.7). Wuthering Waves has exactly one active redeem code right now: WUTHERINGGIFT. It pays 50 Astrite, 2 Premium Resonance Potions, 2 Medium Revival Inhalers, 2 Medium Energy Bags and 10,000 Shell Credits, and it is a standing code rather than a limited-time livestream drop. The three Version 3.7 livestream codes (FALLINGSANCTUM, FINDSENTINEL, WAKINGMOON, worth 100 Astrite each) closed on 21 September, and the Solaris Starry Stage codes (STARRYSTAGE2, KEEPONSHINING) expired on 13 October. Codes are redeemed in the game only — there is no Wuthering Waves redemption website — and you need Union Level 2 to use the feature. The next batch almost always arrives with a version livestream, and Version 3.7 Phase II (Suoming) begins on 22 October.
This page lists what works today, what the rewards actually are, and the full archive of dead codes so you are not pasting strings that were switched off weeks ago. Every code here has been checked against two independent trackers that were both updated on 14 October 2026, and we say plainly which ones are live and which are a record of the pattern.
What Wuthering Waves codes are active right now?
One. As of 17 October 2026, the only working code is WUTHERINGGIFT.
| Code | Rewards | Type | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| WUTHERINGGIFT | 50 Astrite, 2 Premium Resonance Potions, 2 Medium Revival Inhalers, 2 Medium Energy Bags, 10,000 Shell Credits | Standing code | Active |
WUTHERINGGIFT is case-sensitive like every Wuthering Waves code, so paste it exactly as written rather than retyping it. It is the one string Kuro Games has left permanently on, which is why it shows up as the "beginner" or "welcome" code on most trackers. If you have an account and have never claimed it, claim it now — it is free Astrite with no deadline attached.
One quirk worth knowing: a couple of regions have reported WUTHERINGGIFT paying a slightly different Shell Credit amount, but the Astrite and item bundle are the same everywhere. We list the most widely reported version above.
Why are there so few active codes?
Because Wuthering Waves almost never runs permanent promo codes. Nearly all of its codes are livestream codes — short strings read out during a version preview broadcast that expire within a couple of days. That is a deliberate contrast with games like Genshin Impact, which keep a rolling set of three livestream codes live for roughly a day each; Kuro Games typically drops its codes and closes them fast.
The Version 3.7 livestream on 19 September 2026 is the clearest recent example. It revealed three codes at once:
- FALLINGSANCTUM — 100 Astrite, 3 Premium Resonance Potions, 2 Advanced Inhalers
- FINDSENTINEL — 100 Astrite, 20,000 Shell Credits, 3 Premium Enclosure Tank II
- WAKINGMOON — 100 Astrite, 20 Premium Tuners, 5 Advanced Sealed Tube
That is 300 Astrite total, and all three expired on 21 September 2026 at 9 AM PT — a two-day window from the broadcast. If you did not claim them in that window, they are gone, and Kuro Games does not bring livestream codes back.
The pattern repeated in October. Two more codes, STARRYSTAGE2 and KEEPONSHINING (80 Astrite each), were announced during the Solaris Starry Stage livestream and expired on 13 October 2026 at 08:59 AM UTC-7. So the only reason a reader lands here in mid-October with free Astrite still on the table is the single standing code.
How do you redeem Wuthering Waves codes?
Codes are redeemed inside the game. There is no official Wuthering Waves redemption website, so any site asking you to log in to "redeem" a code on the web is not the real thing. Here is the in-game route:
- Press Esc (or open the menu on mobile) to open the Terminal.
- Select the cog / Settings icon at the bottom right.
- Open the Other Settings tab (the wrench icon).
- Under the Account section, select Redeem (also shown as Redemption Box).
- Paste the code exactly, one at a time, then hit Confirm.
- Return to the Terminal and open your mailbox to claim the rewards.
Two things to watch. First, you must have reached Union Level 2 before the redeem feature unlocks — new accounts hit that in the first few minutes of play. Second, the reward mail is automatically deleted after two weeks, so claim it from your mailbox promptly rather than letting it sit. Kuro Games also sends maintenance compensation and survey rewards to the same mailbox, so it is worth checking after any update.
When do new Wuthering Waves codes come out?
With version livestreams, almost every time. Kuro Games runs a preview broadcast a week or two before each new version, and that stream has reliably dropped a batch of codes worth around 300 Astrite combined. The 19 September 2026 broadcast for Version 3.7 did exactly that.
Version 3.7 launched on 30 September 2026 and runs in two phases. Phase I (through 21 October) featured the new 5-star Hsin alongside reruns of Chisa and Iuno. Phase II begins on 22 October 2026 with Suoming as the debut Resonator, joined by Lucilla and Lynae. Phase changes do not usually carry fresh codes on their own, but the mid-version mark is a good moment to check back.
The bigger opportunity is the next version livestream. On Kuro Games' roughly 42-day version cadence, Version 3.8 is projected to land around mid-November 2026, which would put its preview livestream — and the next batch of codes — a week or two before that. We will update this page the moment new codes are confirmed, and we will only list a code once we can verify it (details below).
How do we verify these codes?
We do not print a code from a single random site. A code gets listed here only if it comes from one first-party source — the official @Wuthering_Waves channel, an in-game notice, or the livestream itself — or two genuinely independent third-party trackers that agree on the string and its rewards.
For this update, WUTHERINGGIFT and its reward bundle were confirmed on two independent trackers (PCGamesN and Pocket Tactics), both updated 14 October 2026, with the same Astrite count and item set. The expired livestream codes were cross-checked against the official broadcast coverage and the same trackers. We never pattern-complete or shorten a code string, and we never publish anything out of the leaks community as fact — leaks are a trend signal, not a confirmed code.
As one tracker put it bluntly after the Starry Stage codes closed:
"The codes have expired since October 13, 2026 at 08:59AM UTC-7, so hopefully you claimed it in time."
That is the whole problem with Wuthering Waves codes in one sentence: the window is short, so it pays to claim on broadcast day rather than a week later.
Which Wuthering Waves codes have expired?
All of these are dead. We keep the list so you can tell at a glance that a string you saw elsewhere is no longer worth pasting — a code page that quietly shows expired codes as active is how players learn to distrust code pages.
| Code | Rewards (at the time) | Expired |
|---|---|---|
| STARRYSTAGE2 | 80 Astrite | 13 October 2026 |
| KEEPONSHINING | 80 Astrite | 13 October 2026 |
| FALLINGSANCTUM | 100 Astrite + items | 21 September 2026 |
| FINDSENTINEL | 100 Astrite + items | 21 September 2026 |
| WAKINGMOON | 100 Astrite + items | 21 September 2026 |
Older livestream and event codes — among them HEARTOFSWORD, ETERNALFLAME, THEANSWER, DARKSIDE, RABBITHOLE, PAPERPLANE, WARMSUNLIGHT, 1STANNIVERSARY, 2NDANNIVERSARY, WUWA4PC and the launch-era WUTHERINGWAVESGIFT — have long since expired as well. None of them work, regardless of which stale list still shows them.
Are "free Astrite generator" sites or top-up resellers safe?
No. There is no Astrite generator, and any site promising free premium currency for your login or a survey is a scam that will cost you the account. Astrite is earned in-game or bought through Kuro Games' own official top-up; third-party "cheap top-up" resellers carry a real chargeback-and-ban risk and are not endorsed here. The only free Astrite on offer is the in-game code above and the rewards Kuro Games mails out for events and maintenance.

FAQ
What is the active Wuthering Waves code right now? As of 17 October 2026, the only working code is WUTHERINGGIFT, which gives 50 Astrite, 2 Premium Resonance Potions, 2 Medium Revival Inhalers, 2 Medium Energy Bags and 10,000 Shell Credits. It is a standing code with no announced deadline.
Do the Version 3.7 livestream codes still work? No. FALLINGSANCTUM, FINDSENTINEL and WAKINGMOON (100 Astrite each) expired on 21 September 2026, two days after the broadcast. The later Starry Stage codes STARRYSTAGE2 and KEEPONSHINING expired on 13 October 2026.
Is there a Wuthering Waves code redemption website? No. Unlike some other gacha games, Wuthering Waves has no web redemption page — codes can only be entered inside the game, under Settings, Other Settings, Redeem. Any "redeem online" site is not official.
Why won't my code redeem? The three usual causes are that the code has expired, that you are below Union Level 2 (the redeem feature is locked until then), or a typo — codes are case-sensitive, so paste rather than retype. If the string is one of the expired ones above, it will simply fail.
When is the next batch of Wuthering Waves codes? New codes almost always arrive with a version preview livestream. Version 3.8 is projected for around mid-November 2026, so expect its livestream, and the next codes, a week or two beforehand. We will update this page once they are officially confirmed.
How long do Wuthering Waves livestream codes last? Usually about two days from the broadcast. The 3.7 codes dropped on 19 September and closed on 21 September; the Starry Stage codes closed within days as well. Claim them on broadcast day to be safe.
