Reins of the Raven Lord Farm

Reins of the Raven Lord Farm - Anzu Runs

  • Anzu Rare Drop
  • Heroic Sethekk Halls

Reins of the Raven Lord drops from Anzu in Heroic Sethekk Halls at roughly a 1% chance per kill. One run cycle is one completed Anzu attempt on your character and starts at $5.39. The service sells fixed blocks of attempts only; it does not promise that the mount will drop.

Retail players do not need a druid to summon Anzu today. The original Burning Crusade version gated Anzu behind a druid's Swift Flight Form quest, but patch 4.0.1 made Anzu permanently present in Heroic Sethekk Halls. That historical summon gate explains many old guides, yet it is not a current Retail requirement.

The attempt math stays honest. At about 1% per kill, 10 cycles are roughly a 10% cumulative chance and 25 cycles are roughly 22%. The exact ladder is 1 cycle for $5.39, 5 for $26.95, 10 for $53.90, or 25 for $134.75. Every block is bounded, and there is no pity timer or until-it-drops guarantee.

Heroic Sethekk Halls uses a daily lockout, so each eligible character receives one Anzu attempt per daily reset. Extra alts add more independent attempts without changing the drop chance on any one kill. Once learned, Raven Lord is account-wide through the Mount Journal.

Frequently asked questions

  • Reins of the Raven Lord drops from Anzu in Heroic Sethekk Halls in Terokkar Forest. It is not awarded by a quest or sold by a normal vendor. Each completed Heroic Sethekk Halls cycle in this service includes one Anzu kill and therefore one real loot roll for the mount.

  • Reins of the Raven Lord has an approximately 1% drop chance from Anzu in Heroic Sethekk Halls. Ten independent Anzu kills work out to roughly a 10% cumulative chance, while twenty-five kills are roughly 22%. There is no pity timer, so failed attempts do not improve the next roll.

  • No, not in current Retail World of Warcraft. Anzu originally required a druid who had reached the relevant Swift Flight Form quest step, but patch 4.0.1 made Anzu permanently present in Heroic Sethekk Halls. The druid summon gate remains relevant to older versions and historical guides, not this WoW Midnight service.

  • Heroic Sethekk Halls uses a daily lockout in Retail, so one eligible character can make one Anzu attempt per daily reset. Additional eligible characters can each add another independent attempt during that reset window. More characters increase the number of rolls, but every Anzu kill stays at about a 1% chance.

  • Yes. After Reins of the Raven Lord is looted from Anzu and learned, Raven Lord is added to the account-wide Mount Journal and can be used by eligible characters across the account. The item must still drop on a character you own, which is why each purchased cycle is completed on your account.

  • Yes. Reins of the Raven Lord farms are available on US realms, and US is the default region on this page. Anzu attempts are scheduled around the daily Heroic reset in ET or PT, with support during US business hours. EU realms use the separate EU ladder in the region switch above.

  • No. A 25-cycle Reins of the Raven Lord block buys exactly 25 completed Anzu attempts for $134.75, not an until-it-drops promise. At approximately 1% per kill, 25 attempts are roughly a 22% cumulative chance. The mount may drop early, on the final attempt, or not at all within the block.
