The Hivemind is the epic flying secret mount added in patch 8.1.0, Tides of Vengeance, and it is the one secret mount in the game that cannot be soloed. The back half of the Riddle of the Hivemind is hard-coded for a party of five, and Blizzard's own design post spells out the requirement: four players each wearing a different crystal monocle, plus a fifth who needs no monocle at all. That is why it stalls on so many accounts. It is not a hard puzzle any more, it is a scheduling problem.
This is the part that separates it from our other secret-mount work. Lucid Nightmare, Riddler's Mind-Worm and the Long-Forgotten Hippogryph are all one-character jobs you could in theory grind alone. The Hivemind is not, so timesaver.gg fields the entire five-man team around your character rather than leaving you to recruit four strangers who all have to show up on the same night.
How the riddle actually runs. It opens with the Talisman of True Treasure Tracking, a 35-gold necklace sold by Griftah in Shattrath's Lower City. Equipping it lights four objects on his table that point to 4 crystal monocles: a blue trail of 7 anagram letters plus a final gift ending on top of the Nexus in Borean Tundra, a green 12-input directional sequence on the control pad behind High Sage Viryx in Skyreach, a randomly generated star-refraction grid beneath the Halls of Origination in Uldum, and a red barter run through Vashj'ir that Blizzard measured at a net 2,380 gold and whose goods spoil in 5, 30 or 60 minutes.
Where the five bodies are mandatory. In Suramar, four withered named Rikei, Blom'an, Giluzui and Yorilan have to be pushed to 1 health at the same moment by the four monocle wearers. Each one drops its light beam for only 6 seconds, and only in that window can the fifth player walk in and grab the Lost Cat Toy. The toy zaps the looter for a 5-digit number unique to that group, which the team then enters on the five mana kittens in Court of Stars in Lady Chaton's order. After that comes a phaseshifting-platform maze that needs live bodies holding platforms open, and the Lightlock crossing, a river-crossing logic puzzle in which the game secretly assigns 1 driver, 2 adults and 2 children among your five. The mount waits in the final room on 5 channeling spots.
Time and price. Blizzard has stated the group section takes roughly 15 minutes for a team that already holds the monocles; a genuine first run covering all four monocle branches lands closer to 6 to 12 hours. Book 2 hours for $26.99, 4 for $53.99, 6 for $80.99 or 10 for $134.99, and any overflow is added as repeat blocks at the same hourly rate. Nothing in the chain sits on a weekly lockout, so blocks can run back to back.
Delivery. The mount is account-wide and shows up on every character on the account. Piloted play is standard. US is the default region on this page and EU runs an independent ladder. Self-play Remote adds 30%, Express adds 20%, and Super Express adds 40%. Manual PC play only, scheduled around ET or PT for US players.
