War Talbuk Mount

WoW TBC Anniversary War Talbuk Mount

  • Eight Talbuk Colors
  • Kurenai or Mag'har
  • 100% Ground Speed

War Talbuks are the 100% ground mounts sold in Nagrand by Trader Narasu in Telaar (Alliance, Kurenai) and Provisioner Nasela in Garadar (Horde, Mag'har), and every one of them needs Exalted with that faction. From $341.25 starting at Revered, or $682.50 from a standing start at Neutral.

Exalted unlocks eight mounts at once: the Cobalt, Silver, Tan and White War Talbuk at 100 gold each and 100% speed, plus the Cobalt, Silver, Tan and White Riding Talbuk at 70 gold each and 60% speed. One reputation grind, eight collectible mounts — pick the color we buy first above and pick up the rest for gold whenever you want.

What the grind is: 42,000 reputation from Neutral to Exalted, 21,000 of it from Revered. The quest chains through Hellfire Peninsula, Zangarmarsh and Nagrand cover roughly the first 15,000, and the rest is farmed off Nagrand ogres and handed in as Obsidian Warbeads, 10 at a time for 500 reputation. From a cold start that is close to 840 warbeads.

  • No daily cap. Unlike a daily-gated faction, Kurenai and Mag'har reputation is farmable around the clock, so a booster can push it straight through instead of waiting on resets.
  • Not account-wide. TBC Anniversary has no shared mount collection, so the talbuk stays on the character that bought it — that is why this is piloted or Self-play Remote and never a mailed delivery.
  • Journeyman Riding (150) is the floor for a War Talbuk to actually move at 100%. On Apprentice Riding at 75 skill the 60% Riding Talbuk is the one you can use.
  • The Halaa talbuks are a separate route. Reins of the Dark War Talbuk costs 100 Halaa Battle Tokens and 20 Halaa Research Tokens, the Dark Riding Talbuk 70 and 15, from Aldraan or Coreiel while your faction holds Halaa. Those are PvP tokens, not reputation, and are not part of this order.

How it is delivered: piloted by default, or Self-play Remote for 30% more. Manual play by a US-based booster, no bots. US realms are the default and EU is on the region switch above.

Frequently asked questions

  • The four War Talbuks are sold in Nagrand by Trader Narasu in Telaar for Alliance and Provisioner Nasela in Garadar for Horde, and both vendors only unlock them at Exalted with the Kurenai or the Mag'har. That is 42,000 reputation from Neutral, after which the mount itself costs 100 gold.

  • Eight from reputation: Cobalt, Silver, Tan and White War Talbuk at 100 gold each and 100% ground speed, and Cobalt, Silver, Tan and White Riding Talbuk at 70 gold each and 60% speed. All eight unlock together at Kurenai or Mag'har Exalted, so one grind gives you the whole set. Two more, the Dark Riding and Dark War Talbuk, come from Halaa PvP tokens instead.

  • Neutral to Exalted with the Kurenai or Mag'har is 42,000 reputation, and only about 15,000 of it comes from the Hellfire Peninsula, Zangarmarsh and Nagrand quest chains. The remaining 27,000 is farmed. Because there is no daily cap on this faction, a focused player clears it in a few days of Nagrand ogre farming rather than the two to three weeks a daily-gated reputation needs.

  • Killing the Warmaul and Boulderfist ogres in Nagrand and turning in Obsidian Warbeads, which hand in 10 at a time for 500 reputation. A full 42,000 push from Neutral works out around 840 warbeads. Ogre kills also grant reputation directly, so the drops and the kills stack toward the same War Talbuk unlock.

  • A War Talbuk is a 100% ground mount, so Journeyman Riding at 150 riding skill is what lets you use it at full speed. If your character only has Apprentice Riding at 75 skill, pick one of the four 60% Riding Talbuks instead — they cost 70 gold rather than 100 and unlock at the same Exalted standing. No flying skill is needed for either.

  • The Reins of the Dark War Talbuk is bought for 100 Halaa Battle Tokens and 20 Halaa Research Tokens from Aldraan or Coreiel in Halaa, and only while your faction controls the town. Battle Tokens drop from killing enemy players around Halaa and Research Tokens come from turning in 10 Oshu'gun Crystal Powder Samples each. It is a PvP route, not the Kurenai or Mag'har reputation route priced on this page.

  • No. TBC Anniversary has no account-wide mount collection, so a War Talbuk bought at Kurenai or Mag'har Exalted stays on the character that bought it and cannot be mailed to an alt. That is why this service is run piloted or Self-play Remote on your own character rather than delivered.

  • Every US TBC Anniversary realm, PvE and PvP, including Dreamscythe and Nightslayer, and US is the default region on this page. Farming sessions are scheduled around your own play hours in ET or PT, our support team answers during US business hours, and EU realms are priced on the region switch above.
