Level 70. The Classic Anniversary realms took the Burning Crusade pre-patch on 13 January 2026 and the expansion launched on 5 February 2026, raising the cap from 60 to 70.
Black Temple, with Illidan Stormrage as its final boss, and The Battle for Mount Hyjal, ending on Archimonde — both on 27 August 2026. Phase 3 also brings Tier 6, epic gems and the Netherwing dailies, and Arena Season 3 starts on 1 September.
Yes. Black Temple starts with The Tablets of Baa’ri from your city faction, and Mount Hyjal needs The Vials of Eternity from Soridormi in the Caverns of Time. Both questlines can be added to a leveling order so the character is raid-ready the day it hits 70.
