Quick answer: Arena Breakout: Infinite's Halloween event for 2026 is Mysterious Pumpkin Night, running October 29 – November 25, 2026 (UTC+0) in Season 7: Utopia. Bring a Festive Pumpkin into a raid and extract to give it a chance to evolve into a more valuable stage; kill the new Pumpkin Messengers on every map for an Autumn Pumpkin Helmet; finish event missions for the Miraculous Festive Pumpkin; and log in 7 days for the Sleepless Night AK-12 and Stormy Night SG550 skins. The Third Warlord Tournament runs alongside it until December 7.

Morefun confirmed the whole Halloween lineup in the Oct. 27 (UTC+0) Live Update notes, published by the Arena Breakout: Infinite Team on October 26, 2026. The update itself went live on October 27 at 03:00 UTC+0; the events switch on two days later. This guide covers the 2026 edition (Season 7). Where a rule is only confirmed for last year's run, we say so — Morefun has not yet published the full 2026 event page, so treat 2025 numbers as a guide, not a promise.

Here is what's in it:

  • What is the Arena Breakout: Infinite Halloween event in 2026?
  • How does Pumpkin Evolution work?
  • What do Pumpkin Messengers drop?
  • How do you get the Corrupted Treasures?
  • What is the Halloween Smelter formula?
  • What are the Warlord Tournament III rewards?

What is the Arena Breakout: Infinite Halloween event in 2026?

Mysterious Pumpkin Night is a returning event — it first ran from October 24 to November 13, 2025, according to the official Steam announcement. The 2026 version is longer (28 days instead of 21) and is labelled "Pumpkin Evolution II" in the patch notes.

Six separate events go live together. All dates are UTC+0:

On top of that, the in-raid Smelter gets a new Trash to Treasure formula from October 29 to November 15.

None of this is a stash wipe or a new season. Season 7: Utopia launched on September 16, 2026 and is still the live season — see our Season 7 Utopia guide for the season-wide changes.

What do you get just for logging in?

The Mysterious Night: Check In is the free, zero-risk part. Complete the 7-Day Check In mission during the event and you get:

  • Unripe Festive Pumpkins — your starting stock for Pumpkin Evolution
  • Sleepless Night AK-12 Assault Rifle weapon skin
  • Stormy Night SG550 Assault Rifle weapon skin
  • Jack-o'-Lantern Charm and Pumpkin Monster Charm

You have 28 days to log in seven times, so missing a few days doesn't lose you the skins.

How does Pumpkin Evolution work?

The official 2026 description is short: "Bring a Festive Pumpkin into a raid, explore, and extract successfully for a chance to evolve it. The evolved Festive Pumpkin will look different and be worth significantly more!"

Last year's rules, from the 2025 Steam post, fill in the gaps. We'll update this section when Morefun publishes the 2026 event page.

  • It's an extraction streak. In 2025, pumpkins evolved when you extracted from Lockdown Zone or Forbidden Zone raids, and Morefun called every raid "an investment."
  • The stages are Unripe → Ripe → Carved → Miraculous. These are the names from the 2025 launch trailer. Check-in rewards in 2026 are still called "Unripe" Festive Pumpkins, and the top reward is still the "Miraculous" Festive Pumpkin, so the ladder appears unchanged.
  • Pumpkins can't be protected. In 2025 they could not go into a Case or a Retrieval Device. If you die, the pumpkin is gone like any other loot.
  • The event screen unlocked at Character Lv. 13 in 2025. That's also where you could buy and sell pumpkins.
  • Only the final stage is kept. In its Nov. 4, 2025 update, Morefun confirmed that a Miraculous Pumpkin "will not expire" and could be stored or sold to contacts for 250,000 Koen. Pumpkins that hadn't reached the final stage "will expire and be retrieved" when the event ended.

The 2026 notes also say it's a "chance" to evolve on extract, not a guarantee. So your expected value depends on how often you survive.

Is Pumpkin Evolution worth it?

Yes, if you extract reliably. No, if you're on a death streak. A pumpkin you lose is just a lost pumpkin. A pumpkin still sitting at an early stage on November 25 is worth nothing, if the 2025 expiry rule carries over.

The math favours cheap, survivable raids over big Forbidden Zone gear fights: the pumpkin's value depends on extracting, not on what you kill. Three habits help most:

  • Run the map you extract from most often. For most players that's Farm Lockdown. Our Farm map guide lists every extract.
  • Don't stack every pumpkin in one raid. Spread them over several raids so one death doesn't reset your whole streak.
  • Start early. Each evolution needs a successful extract, so starting on October 29 gives you the most attempts before the deadline.

If you aren't sure whether Lockdown or Forbidden suits your gear, read our Lockdown vs Forbidden Zone breakdown.

What do Pumpkin Messengers drop?

Pumpkin Messengers weren't part of the 2025 announcement. According to the patch notes, they "will appear on all maps for a limited time" during the event. Kill one and you get an Autumn Pumpkin Helmet. Search their backpacks for "a chance to find a Festive Pumpkin of any stage or other valuable items."

That last part matters: a Messenger can drop a pumpkin that is already evolved. That lets you skip part of the extraction streak, as long as you get out alive with it.

Morefun hasn't published the Messengers' spawn points, timings or health yet. Treat them like any other limited-time high-value target. Other squads will hear the fight, and the area will draw attention. If you're playing solo, our solo guide covers how to take a contested kill and get out.

How do you get the Corrupted Treasures?

Corrupted Treasures adds two limited-time collectibles to Kamona:

  • Fading Dawn — "Search safes on any map during the event for a chance to find it."
  • Corrupted Clock — "Craft it in the Trophy Room using corrupted miscellaneous items. These items can be found across all maps."

Fading Dawn is a safe roll, so safe-heavy routes are the efficient way to farm it. The Corrupted Clock is a crafting project. Pick up any corrupted miscellaneous item you see during the event and take it home to the Trophy Room. Our Workbench guide explains how Trophy Room crafting works in Season 7.

Morefun hasn't said whether either collectible stays after November 25. Don't assume a Corrupted item is safe to hold until the official event page confirms it.

What is the Halloween Smelter formula?

Arena Breakout: Infinite Trash to Treasure event screen showing the Smelter, the Location Diagram with Smelter markers and the three-step Event Flow

Trash to Treasure is ABI's in-raid smelting event. When it launched, Morefun explained that "Smelters will appear on various maps in the Lockdown Zone and Forbidden Zone. Submit miscellaneous items in raids for a chance to recycle trash into treasure!" The in-client flow has three steps: find the Smelter, submit 3 miscellaneous items, then claim the result once smelting finishes.

The formula from the Oct. 27 update:

FormulaIngredientsPossible resultAvailable (UTC+0)
Trash to TreasurePersonal Digital Assistant + Data Cable + LaptopPrototype Calculation Module (high-value collectible)Oct 29 – Nov 15

The official wording is "a chance to get" the Prototype Calculation Module. It isn't a guaranteed craft.

Can you buy the ingredients and rush the Smelter?

That's the exact question r/ArenaBreakoutInfinite asked this week. Players answered that Operator-supplied items can't be smelted. You can buy purple or lower items, but they have to come out of a raid with you before they count as non-supplied. Morefun hasn't confirmed this, so treat it as community testing.

The hard limit is official, though: in the July 15, 2026 live update, Morefun barred one more item from raids "in line with other gold quality miscellaneous items", confirming that gold-quality miscellaneous items can't be carried into a raid. So any gold-quality ingredient has to be found in the same raid you smelt in. As one player put it, "You need to bring the cable and PDA with you for every raid so you can smelt them with the laptop with you eventually find it." In practice:

  • Get the lower-quality ingredients out of a raid once, so they lose the supplied marker.
  • Carry them into each Lockdown or Forbidden raid.
  • Loot the gold-quality piece during the raid, then go straight to a Smelter.

The 2026 notes don't say what quality each ingredient is. Check the item's colour in the client before you plan around it.

What are the Warlord Tournament III rewards?

The Third Warlord Tournament runs October 29 – December 7, 2026, so it outlasts the Halloween events by almost two weeks. Morefun's pitch: "With loadouts revealed and every move out in the open, the Third Warlord Tournament is here!"

Rank rewards from the Oct. 27 notes:

Rank reachedReward
RookieTacti-Girl Charm Voucher ×5
RangerS7 Skin Supply Coupon ×10
CommanderVelocity Protocol Racing Suit
WarlordWarlord III Badge
Warlord (15★)Warlord III Frame
Warlord (30★)Warlord III Background

Tournament missions also give Warlord Challenge Tokens, which you can spend in the Warlord Trial event on an IND70 Tactical Helmet, the Limitless Gear Skin and more. Morefun says these are free.

What rules are new this time?

Two rule changes:

  • Encrypted File scoring. Teams that pick up and hold an Encrypted File get a dynamic multiplier on their base points. If the squad member carrying it extracts, the bonus stays active. (The Season 7 reveal described Encrypted Files as giving a 1.5× points bonus, meant to give teams that are behind a way to catch up.)
  • Intel updates. When you inspect or pick up an enemy dog tag, your whole squad is told that the owner is dead, and the raid details panel updates.

The practical takeaway: in a tournament where loadouts are already visible, information is your edge. Grab the Encrypted File, protect whoever carries it, and use dog-tag intel to work out how many enemies are left before you rotate.

What else changed in the Oct. 27 live update?

The same patch had a few fixes that matter during the event:

  • Zombie Endless Mode needs less total Merit to level up, and some Enter Infected Zone missions are easier.
  • The Trophy Room Workbench craft for 5.8×42 mm DVP88 ammo now uses a Luxury Tea Set instead of an Antenna.
  • Fixed a red-quality "Free Upgrade" research result that gave the wrong amount of 7.62×54 mm LPS ammo.
  • Fixed spots on Airport, Farm and TV Station where players could reach abnormal locations, plus stuck spots on Valley.
  • Players who own both Klukai and Leva from the Girls' Frontline 2 collab can claim the Sly Fox and Cold Steel background from in-game mail.

The update was live, not a server-downtime patch. If you were in a raid at 03:00 UTC+0, Morefun's instruction was to exit the game and click Update in the launcher.

A warning about "Halloween Koen deals"

Every event brings a wave of sites offering cheap Koen or pre-evolved pumpkins. Don't buy them. Morefun removed the ability to buy Koen with real money at the 1.0 launch, and it punishes buyers as well as sellers. Penalties range from confiscating everything you gained up to bans lasting up to 10 years. ABI has no gift or mail system for items, so any "delivery" means a hand-off inside a raid, which is exactly what the security team watches for. Everything in this event can be earned by playing. If you want more Koen, use our Koen farming guide.

FAQ

When does the Arena Breakout: Infinite Halloween event start and end in 2026? Mysterious Pumpkin Night runs from October 29 to November 25, 2026 (UTC+0). The Trash to Treasure Smelter formula ends earlier, on November 15, and the Third Warlord Tournament runs later, until December 7.

How do I evolve a Festive Pumpkin? Bring it into a raid and extract successfully. Each successful extract gives it a chance to evolve into a more valuable stage. In 2025 this counted in Lockdown Zone and Forbidden Zone raids, and the stages were Unripe, Ripe, Carved and Miraculous.

What happens to my pumpkins when the event ends? In 2025, only fully evolved Miraculous Pumpkins were kept (they could be stored or sold to contacts for 250,000 Koen); pumpkins at earlier stages expired and were removed. Morefun hasn't confirmed the 2026 expiry rule yet, so plan to finish your evolutions before November 25.

Can I put pumpkins in my Secure Case? Not in 2025: pumpkins couldn't go into a Case or a Retrieval Device, so dying meant losing them. Assume the same rule in 2026 until the event page says otherwise. Our Secure Case guide covers what you can protect.

Where do Pumpkin Messengers spawn? Morefun only says they appear on all maps for a limited time during the event. Spawn points haven't been published. Killing one gives an Autumn Pumpkin Helmet, and their backpacks can hold a Festive Pumpkin of any stage.

Does the Halloween event wipe my stash? No. It's a limited-time event inside Season 7: Utopia. ABI doesn't wipe stashes even between seasons; see our does Arena Breakout: Infinite wipe explainer.
