Brawl Stars Brawl Pass Guide (Season 55): Price, Every Reward, Vault Keys & Is Plus Worth It?

Sam Okonkwo

Brawl Pass Vault screen in Brawl Stars explaining the four Vault Keys: Buffie Key, Resource Key, Brawler Key and Skin Key

The Brawl Pass is the single most important thing you can spend money on in Brawl Stars, and it is also the thing most players misunderstand. Since the January 2026 rework it has 60 tiers instead of 50, costs more than it used to, and pays out in Vault Keys that let you pick your own Brawler, skin or Buffie instead of hoping a Starr Drop lands right.

This guide breaks down the current Season 55: Brawl-O-Ween pass: what each of the three tracks gives you, how much XP you need per day to finish, how Vault Keys work, and whether the Brawl Pass Plus upgrade is actually worth the extra money. Rules come from Supercell's official Brawl Pass & Brawl Pass Plus support article; reward tables were checked against the Brawl Stars Wiki Brawl Pass page on October 28, 2026.

Quick answer (TLDR): The Brawl Pass has three tracks: Free, Brawl Pass ($8.99 USD) and Brawl Pass Plus ($12.99 USD); local prices vary by region. Every season has 60 tiers and needs 53,250 XP to finish. The paid track adds a Brawler Key, Skin Key and Resource Key, 2,500 Credits, 9,500 Coins, 3,200 Bling and 50 Gems. Plus adds a Buffie Key, a second Brawler Key and Skin Key, another Resource Key, 100 Gems and 20% instant XP progress. Plus is the best value: its 2 Brawler Keys unlock a Mythic Brawler of your choice. Season 55 ends on November 5, 2026, when Season 56 begins.

What is the Brawl Pass in Brawl Stars?

The Brawl Pass is Brawl Stars' monthly battle pass. You earn Brawl Pass XP by playing, mostly from Quests, and every few hundred XP unlocks the next tier of rewards. Supercell's own description is short:

"Brawl your way through reward-filled tracks by earning Brawl Pass XP as you play! Brawl Passes have many rewards waiting for you, including Credits, Gems, Coins, Power Points and much more!" (Supercell Support, Brawl Pass & Brawl Pass Plus)

There are three tracks, and they stack. Everyone gets the Free track. Buying the Brawl Pass unlocks a second row of rewards on top of it. Buying Brawl Pass Plus unlocks a third row on top of both. You never lose free rewards by buying a pass.

How much does the Brawl Pass cost?

PassPrice (USD)What you get
Free trackFree60 tiers of Coins, Power Points, Credits, Starr Drops, Chaos Drops and 50 Gems
Brawl Pass$8.99Free track + paid track (Keys, Credits, Bling, Pins, Title, exclusive Quests)
Brawl Pass Plus$12.99Everything above + Plus track + 20% instant progress

Prices went up with the January 1, 2026 rework, from $6.99 to $8.99 for the Brawl Pass and from $9.99 to $12.99 for Plus, at the same time the pass grew from 50 to 60 tiers. Your local price may differ: Supercell adjusted prices in more than 100 countries in September 2025.

Two money rules worth knowing before you tap "Buy":

  • Buy Plus up front if you think you'll want it. You can upgrade a Brawl Pass to Plus later, but Supercell warns that "purchasing the Brawl Pass, and then the Upgrade, will cost a bit more overall than purchasing the Brawl Pass Plus from the get go!"
  • The Supercell Store gives more progress. Plus bought in the game gives a 20% XP head start. Bought on the official Supercell Store (see our Brawl Stars Store guide), Plus gives 30% instant progress plus the Store's bonus. Passes bought there land in your Supercell ID inventory and must be activated manually in-game.

What rewards are in the Season 55 Brawl Pass?

Season 55 is Brawl-O-Ween, live since October 1, 2026. These are the full totals for each track across all 60 tiers.

Add the three tracks together and a Brawl Pass Plus owner walks away with 200 Gems, 25,000 Coins, 7,600 Power Points, 3,900 Credits and 6,700 Bling, plus eight Vault Keys (3 Resource, 2 Brawler, 2 Skin and 1 Buffie Key). The Plus track front-loads everything: its rewards sit on tiers 0 to 7, so you get the Buffie Key at tier 0, 100 Gems at tier 1 and the Plus Brawler Key at tier 4 almost immediately.

The free track is also strong now. Its 6 Chaos Drops alone are worth chasing: see our Chaos Drop odds guide for what each one can roll.

How do Vault Keys work?

Vault Keys replaced fixed Brawl Pass skins and Brawlers at the start of 2026. Instead of the pass handing you a set reward, you take the key to the Brawl Pass Vault and choose what to spend it on.

The Brawl Stars Vault menu with Buffies, Resources, Brawlers and Skins tabs and the key cost of each reward

KeyWhere it comes fromWhat it buys
Resource KeyFree, Brawl Pass and Plus tracks; tail rewards2,000 Coins or 2,000 Power Points or 5,000 Bling
Brawler KeyBrawl Pass and Plus tracks; tail rewardsEpic Brawler (1 key), Mythic (2), Legendary (4), Ultra Legendary (6)
Skin KeyBrawl Pass and Plus tracksCurrent season's Brawl Pass skin set (1 key) or an older season's set (2 keys)
Buffie KeyPlus track onlyAny Buffie of your choice (Bling Buffies excluded)

Keys stay in your Vault after the season ends, so you can save Brawler Keys across several passes for a Legendary. The Brawl Stars Wiki works out that Mythic and Legendary unlocks give the best value per key, about 950 Credits per key versus 925 for an Epic.

Brawler Key costs in the Brawl Stars Vault: 6 keys for Ultra Legendary Kaze, 4 keys for Legendary Spike, Crow and Leon

Skin Keys and this season's skins. Season 55's pass skins are Fortune Teller P and Cursed Shade, each with their Chromas. A current-season skin set costs 1 Skin Key, so a Plus owner (2 Skin Keys) can take both Brawl-O-Ween skins. Older Vault skin sets cost 2 keys; the current season's sets are shown discounted from 2 keys to 1 while that season runs. If you already own a pass skin, you get 1,000 Bling as a fallback.

Historical example from Season 46 (January 2026). In Season 55 the 1-key sets are Fortune Teller P and Cursed Shade.

How much XP do you need to finish the Brawl Pass?

Finishing all 60 tiers takes 53,250 XP. Tier costs ramp up: the first tiers cost 50 to 350 XP, tiers 10 to 50 cost 950 XP each, and tiers 51 to 60 cost 1,250 XP each.

Season 55 runs 35 days (October 1 to November 5), which works out to roughly 1,520 XP per day to finish. Here is where that XP comes from:

XP sourceXPNotes
Small (daily) Quest200 each2 per day free, 3 per day with a Brawl Pass
Medium Quest500 eachNew ones appear daily, last all season
Mega Quest1,500 or 3,000 each13 per season; the last 2 are Brawl Pass-only
Event rotationSmall amountsClaimable each time the Event list changes
Brawler rank-upsVariesEvery time a Brawler ranks up
XP Doublersx2 on Quest XPBought in the Shop

Quests unlock early on the Trophy Road. You get 5 Quest rerolls per week, free or paid, and rerolled Quests keep the same XP value.

What happens after tier 60? The pass keeps going. Every 2,800 XP past the last tier grants a bonus "tail" reward such as an Angelic Drop, Demonic Drop, Coins or Power Points, and you can pay 14 to 79 Gems to upgrade it to something better like a Chaos Drop, Mega Box or even a Brawler Key. The Brawl Pass itself is bought with real money, not Gems, so tail upgrades compete with things like Hypercharges and skins for your Gems. The 79-Gem Brawler Key upgrade is the only one most players should consider.

When does the Brawl Pass season end?

According to Supercell, "Brawl Pass Seasons start on the first Thursday every month, and a new Brawl Pass and Brawl Pass Plus becomes available in the Shop every Season." That means:

  • Season 55 (Brawl-O-Ween) ends on Thursday, November 5, 2026, the first Thursday of November, which gives it 35 days.
  • Season 56 starts the same day. Its theme and pass skins have not been officially revealed yet. The reveal is expected at the next Brawl Talk, which we track in our next Brawl Talk guide.

Unclaimed rewards are not lost. Supercell's article explains that unclaimed rewards from the oldest season are claimed for you automatically when a new season starts. Unused Vault Keys stay in your Vault.

Should you buy the Season 55 pass this late?

As of October 28, 2026, Season 55 has about 8 days left. Buying now still unlocks every reward on every tier you've already passed, because paid rewards are retroactive. What you lose is time: the extra daily Quest only helps for the days that remain.

Use this rule of thumb:

  • Already past tier 50? Buy. You get almost the whole paid track instantly, including the late Brawler Key (tier 54) and Skin Key (tier 59) within reach.
  • Around tier 30 to 50? Buy Plus, not the Brawl Pass. The Plus Brawler Key, Skin Key, Buffie Key and 100 Gems sit on tiers 0 to 7, so you get them immediately, and the 20% XP boost (30% on the Store) closes much of the gap.
  • Below tier 20? Wait for Season 56 on November 5 unless you specifically want Fortune Teller P or Cursed Shade. Remember that Vault Keys stay with you, so a late Brawl Pass still banks its keys even if you don't finish.

Is the Brawl Pass worth it?

Short version: yes, if you play most days. Plus is the better deal if you were going to buy a Brawler or skin anyway.

Brawl Pass ($8.99): 8/10. For $8.99 you get a Brawler Key, a Skin Key (one of this season's skins), a Resource Key, 2,500 Credits, 9,500 Coins, 3,200 Bling and an extra daily Quest worth 200 XP a day. That extra Quest also makes the pass easier to finish. The weak spot: one Brawler Key only unlocks an Epic Brawler on its own.

Brawl Pass Plus ($12.99): 9/10. The extra $4 is the best-value spend in Brawl Stars right now:

  • The second Brawler Key turns your Epic unlock into a Mythic Brawler of your choice.
  • The second Skin Key gets you both Fortune Teller P and Cursed Shade.
  • The Buffie Key picks any Buffie, the newest power layer in the game. Check our Buffies tier list before you spend it.
  • 100 extra Gems come back almost immediately (tier 1).
  • 20% instant progress (30% on the Supercell Store) covers roughly a week of play, which makes finishing far more realistic for casual players.

Skip it if you only open the game a couple of times a week and don't care about skins. You probably won't reach the late tiers where the second Brawler Key and Skin Key sit (tiers 54 and 59), and the free track already gives you 18 Starr Drops, 6 Chaos Drops and 50 Gems.

Never use "free Brawl Pass" or "free gem generator" sites. They are scams that steal Supercell ID logins. The only real ways to get free Gems are the ones in our free Gems guide and the active Brawl Stars codes.

How do you get the most out of the Brawl Pass?

  • Buy early in the season. You get the full 35 days of the extra daily Quest, and Plus's tier 0 to 7 rewards arrive right away.
  • Buy Plus directly, not BP plus upgrade. It's cheaper overall, per Supercell.
  • Do Mega Quests in order. They're worth 1,500 to 3,000 XP each and give extra loot (this season includes Pumpkin Boxes, Chaos Drops, a Buffie and a Coffin Box).
  • Reroll bad Quests. Use all 5 weekly rerolls on Quests for Brawlers or modes you don't play.
  • Save Brawler Keys for a Mythic or Legendary. Two keys on a Mythic beats one key on an Epic, and keys carry over.
  • Spend Resource Keys on Power Points or Coins if you're upgrading Brawlers; Bling only if you're skin-shopping.

FAQ

How much is the Brawl Pass in Brawl Stars? The Brawl Pass costs $8.99 USD and Brawl Pass Plus costs $12.99 USD, both since the January 1, 2026 update. Prices vary by country, and you can upgrade from Brawl Pass to Plus later, though that costs slightly more than buying Plus outright.

What is the difference between Brawl Pass and Brawl Pass Plus? Plus includes everything in the Brawl Pass and adds a third reward track with a Buffie Key, an extra Brawler Key, Skin Key and Resource Key, 3,000 Coins, 1,500 Power Points, 1,500 Bling, 100 Gems and 20% instant XP progress (30% if bought on the Supercell Store).

How many tiers does the Brawl Pass have? 60 tiers, needing 53,250 XP in total. After tier 60 you keep earning a bonus reward every 2,800 XP until the season ends.

When does the Brawl Pass reset? Brawl Pass seasons start on the first Thursday of each month. Season 55 Brawl-O-Ween ends on November 5, 2026, when Season 56 begins.

Can you get a Brawler from the Brawl Pass? Yes. The Brawl Pass gives 1 Brawler Key (an Epic Brawler) and Plus gives a second one, so a Plus owner can unlock a Mythic Brawler of their choice from the Vault. Keys carry over, so you can also save them for a Legendary (4 keys) or Ultra Legendary (6 keys).

Do I lose my rewards if I don't claim them before the season ends? No. Supercell automatically claims unclaimed rewards from the oldest season when a new season starts, and Vault Keys stay in your Vault.
