The system has a few fixed rules that have not changed:
- There is one token per rarity — Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary — with no Champion token. You cannot trade Champion cards at all.

Can you still trade cards in Clash Royale right now?
Yes — but only if you already have tokens. The trade feature has not been deleted from the game. If you saved a stack of Trade Tokens from before the taps were shut off, you can still post trades to your clan and complete them normally. What is gone is the supply: there is currently no repeatable way to earn or buy fresh tokens.
For most players, that means one of three situations:
