Rise From the Grave is a free FC 27 Evo with unusually big boosts: an eligible RM or RW rated 74 or lower goes to 80 in 24 hours of Training Camp, with no matches to play. Because the upgrades are so large, almost every card finishes with the same face stats, so the card you pick should be chosen for its Weak Foot, Skill Moves and existing PlayStyles, not its rating. EA SPORTS FC 27 released Rise From the Grave on Monday 26 October at 18:00 UTC. It costs 0 coins and 0 FC Points, and you have until Thursday 26 November to start it.
We pulled fut.gg's eligible and evolved player lists for the Evo on 27 October: 2,663 eligible items, and every one of them finishes at exactly 80 OVR. Below are the requirements, every upgrade level, what the data says about picking a card, and the shortlist we would put in first.
TLDR: FC 27 Rise From the Grave in 30 seconds. Free Training Camp Evo for any card that can play RM or RW (alternate positions count), rated 74 or lower, with no CM position, PAC 85 or lower, up to 7 PlayStyles and no PlayStyle+. 5 levels of 4h 48m each = 24 hours, zero matches. You get +36 OVR (cap 80), Acceleration to 85, Sprint Speed to 84, Dribbling and Ball Control to 82, Quick Step (level 2) and Technical (level 3) if the card holds fewer than 3 PlayStyles, and Skill Moves and Weak Foot raised to 3 stars. Start by Thursday 26 November, 18:00 UTC; finish by Thursday 3 December, 18:00 UTC. All 2,663 eligible cards end at 80 with a median PAC 84, DRI 82, SHO 76, PAS 75, so pick a card that already has 4 or 5 star Weak Foot or Skill Moves, because the Evo won't add them.

What is the FC 27 Rise From the Grave Evolution?
Rise From the Grave is a free, five-level Training Camp Evolution for right-sided wide players, released during the Ultimate Scream promo. Its in-game description, reproduced on fut.gg, reads: "Some wingers refuse to stay buried. Bring your RM or RW back to life and watch them rise from the grave with monster boosts on the flank." (fut.gg, Rise From the Grave)
Training Camp is the Evo type that runs on a timer instead of match objectives. EA's help page explains it: "Training Camp Evolutions let you passively upgrade your Players. They work differently from standard Evolutions. When you submit a Player to a Training Camp Evolution, your Player is unavailable for a set amount of time." (EA Help, Ultimate Team Evolutions) Each of the five levels has the same single task, "Send your Player to Training Camp", and lasts 4 hours 48 minutes.
EA doesn't publish an article for weekly Evolutions. The requirements, upgrades and deadlines below come from fut.gg's copy of the in-game Evolution data, pulled on 27 October, and match what Destructoid lists for the same Evo.
What are the Rise From the Grave requirements?
| Requirement | Value |
|---|---|
| Position | RM or RW (alternate positions count) |
| Excluded position | CM |
| Max OVR | 74 |
| Max Pace (PAC) | 85 |
| Max PlayStyles | 7 |
| Max PlayStyles+ | 0 |
| Cost | Free (0 coins, 0 FC Points) |
| Released | Monday 26 October 2026, 18:00 UTC |
| Start by | Thursday 26 November 2026, 18:00 UTC |
| Finish by | Thursday 3 December 2026, 18:00 UTC |
The position rule is looser than it looks. fut.gg's eligibility search counts alternate positions, so the pool includes 726 cards whose main position is RB, 344 LMs, 301 strikers and 143 LWs, as long as RM or RW is one of their positions and CM isn't. Only 1,005 of the 2,663 have RM or RW as their main position.
The pool on fut.gg is entirely base Rare items, from a 47-rated bronze up to 74. You can still try any card in your club, including untradeables, through the in-game preview.
What upgrades does Rise From the Grave give?
Every stat line is a boost with a cap. The boost is huge (+35 to +40 on most attributes), so for nearly any card the cap is what you end up with.
| Level (4h 48m each) | Upgrades (boost, cap) |
|---|---|
| Level 1 | OVR +36 (80), Positioning +40 (79), Vision +35 (76), Agility +35 (83), Composure +35 (78), Skill Moves +2 (3 stars) |
| Level 2 | Quick Step PlayStyle (only if the card has fewer than 3), Finishing +40 (77), Crossing +40 (78), Balance +35 (82), Jumping +20 (72) |
| Level 3 | Technical PlayStyle (only if fewer than 3), Shot Power +35 (80), Short Passing +40 (77), Reactions +35 (77), Stamina +30 (80) |
| Level 4 | Acceleration +40 (85), Ball Control +40 (82), Long Shots +35 (76), Long Passing +30 (72), Strength +20 (68) |
| Level 5 | Sprint Speed +40 (84), Dribbling +40 (82), Curve +35 (78), Volleys +30 (70), Weak Foot +2 (3 stars) |
Two details matter here. First, caps never lower a stat: a card that already has 90 Sprint Speed keeps 90. That is why fut.gg shows 65 evolved cards finishing with PAC 86 or 87 even though the Evo's pace caps sit at 84 and 85. Second, Quick Step and Technical are both capped at 3 PlayStyles. A card that already holds 3 or more gets neither, and a card that reaches 3 after Quick Step doesn't get Technical.
Does the starting rating matter for Rise From the Grave?
Barely, for attacking stats. This is the most useful thing the data shows. Because +36 OVR and +35 to +40 attribute boosts all slam into the same caps, a 50-rated bronze and a 74-rated silver finish with almost identical attacking face stats.
| Starting OVR | Cards | PAC | SHO | PAS | DRI | DEF | PHY |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 47 to 59 | 397 | 84 | 76 | 74 | 82 | 30 | 65 |
| 60 to 66 | 1,170 | 84 | 76 | 75 | 82 | 39 | 68 |
| 67 to 70 | 688 | 84 | 76 | 75 | 82 | 49.5 | 70 |
| 71 to 74 | 408 | 84 | 76 | 75 | 82 | 51 | 71 |
Median finished face stats from fut.gg's 2,663 evolved cards, 27 October 2026.
Across all 2,663 evolved cards the median finish is PAC 84, SHO 76, PAS 75, DRI 82. Only defending and physical keep the base card's shape, because the Evo touches Strength (+20, cap 68) and Jumping (+20, cap 72) lightly and doesn't touch defending at all.
So don't spend coins on a 74 to "start higher". Use the card you already own, or the cheapest version of the player you actually want.
Which players are best for Rise From the Grave?
Pick on Weak Foot, Skill Moves, PlayStyles and positions. Those are the main selection priorities, because the Evo flattens most attacking stats. It raises Weak Foot and Skill Moves to 3 stars and no higher, and the PlayStyles it adds stop at 3.
Out of 2,663 evolved cards on fut.gg:
- 452 (17%) finish with 4 or 5 star Weak Foot, all of it from the base card.
- 203 (8%) finish with 4 or 5 star Skill Moves, again from the base card.
- Only 9 finish with both 5 star Weak Foot and 4 star or better Skill Moves.
- 2,193 (82%) get both Quick Step and Technical; 132 (5%) get neither, because they already hold 3 or more PlayStyles.
These are the picks that come out of fut.gg's data with the best combination of 4 to 5 star Weak Foot, 4 to 5 star Skill Moves and finished face stats. Every one finishes at 80.
| Player | Base | Positions | Finished PAC / SHO / PAS / DRI | WF / SM | PlayStyles before → after |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Elena Dhont | 73 | RW (RM, LM, CAM, ST, LW) | 84 / 77 / 76 / 82 | 5 / 4 | 0 → 2 |
| Juan Castellanos | 68 | RM (CAM, RW) | 84 / 77 / 76 / 82 | 5 / 4 | 0 → 2 |
| Saba Lobjanidze | 71 | RM (LM, RW, LW) | 84 / 77 / 76 / 82 | 5 / 4 | 1 → 3 |
| Siriki Dembélé | 67 | LM (RM, RW, LW) | 85 / 76 / 75 / 82 | 5 / 4 | 3 → 3 |
| Hattan Bahbri | 66 | LW (RM, LM, CAM, RW, ST) | 84 / 76 / 75 / 82 | 5 / 4 | 0 → 2 |

| Ianis Hagi | 72 | CAM (RM, LM, RW, LW) | 84 / 77 / 76 / 82 | 5 / 4 | 4 → 4 |
| Lucas Vázquez | 74 | RB (RM) | 84 / 76 / 79 / 82 | 4 / 4 | 1 → 3 |
Source: fut.gg evolved list for Evo 2637, 27 October 2026. Positions in brackets are alternates.
How to read it:
- Elena Dhont is the stand-out women's card: 5 star Weak Foot, 4 star Skill Moves and five alternate positions, so she can cover either wing, CAM or ST after the Evo.
- Siriki Dembélé and Ianis Hagi keep their own PlayStyles instead of getting Quick Step and Technical. That's only a good trade if the PlayStyles they already hold suit how you play, so check their card before you commit.
- Lucas Vázquez is the odd one: a right-back with RM as an alternate. He finishes with the same attacking stats plus DEF 70, which makes him the best fit if you want a wing-back.
If you don't own any of these, the rule still holds. Search your club for an eligible RM or RW at 74 or below with 4 or 5 star Weak Foot, and the Evo turns it into a free 80-rated winger with 84 pace and better weak-foot finishing than most of the pool.

Can you chain Rise From the Grave into Wicked Winger or The Haunted Wall?
For most finished cards the listed requirements allow it, but fut.gg's calculator doesn't show the chain, so check the in-game preview before you spend tokens. Both paid Evos in the Ultimate Scream Token Store can take a Rise From the Grave 80, subject to their other limits:
- Wicked Winger (900 Scream tokens): max 82 OVR, RM or RW, PAC 90 or lower, DEF 70 or lower, Strength 80 or lower, max 1 PlayStyle+. It gives +15 OVR (cap 85) over 5 one-match levels, plus a choice of Finesse Shot+, Quick Step+ or Technical+. A Rise From the Grave 80 would gain the last 5 and finish at 85. That fixes the problem we flagged in our Ultimate Scream Token Store breakdown: on its own, only cards starting at 70 or higher reach Wicked Winger's 85 cap. But Rise From the Grave never lowers a stat, so 97 of the 2,663 finished cards still fail Wicked Winger: 39 on DEF above 70 and 62 on Strength above 80 (Andreas Tetteh keeps 85 Strength, for example). That leaves 2,566 that meet the listed limits.
- The Haunted Wall (500 Scream tokens): any outfield card rated 81 or lower with PAC 85 or lower and no more than 7 PlayStyles. It gives +8 OVR (cap 84) over 4 one-match levels and a choice of Bruiser, Intercept or Anticipate, which suits a defensive wide player more than a winger. After Rise From the Grave, 2,598 of the 2,663 cards are still at PAC 85 or lower.
The catch: when we pulled fut.gg's two-Evo calculator for Rise From the Grave plus Wicked Winger on 27 October, all 6,587 results were single-Evo cards (2,663 Rise From the Grave, 3,924 Wicked Winger) and none was a chain, in either order. A partial pull for The Haunted Wall showed the same. Neither Evo lists a prior-Evolution restriction, so this may just be the tool. But 900 tokens is the same price as the Verón Hero, so don't take the chain on trust. EA's help page describes the check: "When you add another Evolution to the preview, available Evolutions are filtered using the Player Item's resulting stats." (EA Help) Preview Rise From the Grave, add the paid Evo, and only buy it if the preview lets you.
Run Rise From the Grave first. With Wicked Winger the order is forced: Wicked Winger adds a PlayStyle+, and Rise From the Grave accepts none. With The Haunted Wall, a card rated 66 or lower could technically do it first and still be under Rise From the Grave's 74 limit, but it would then finish at 80 instead of 84. Also note the token store closes on Friday 13 November, 17:59 UTC, so the Wicked Winger or Haunted Wall purchase has to happen before then, even though both Evos can be completed until 27 November.
How long does Rise From the Grave take, and what can't you do meanwhile?
24 hours in total: five levels of 4 hours 48 minutes. You don't play any matches, but you do have to come back between levels to claim each upgrade and send the player in again, so in practice it takes a little longer unless you check in on time.
While the card is in Training Camp:
- It can't play matches. EA: "your Player is unavailable for a set amount of time. You can still view them in your Club."
- It can't be submitted to SBCs until the Training Camp is complete.
- If you cancel, "you won't get any unearned upgrades" (EA Help), so you keep only the levels you already finished.
The practical move is to start it on a night or a work day, when you weren't going to use the card anyway. If you plan to put the same card through Wicked Winger, that's 5 more matches with it in your team, in Squad Battles on Semi-Pro or higher, Rush, Rivals, Champions or Live Events.
Is Rise From the Grave worth doing?
Yes, for almost every club. It's free, it costs no matches, and it turns cards you would otherwise quick-sell into 80-rated wingers with 84 pace and 82 dribbling. The only real cost is the 24 hours the card is locked.
It's worth less if:
- You already run a better RM or RW. An 80 with SHO 76 and PAS 75 is a squad filler or Rivals sub, not an end-game starter, unless you push it through Wicked Winger.
- Your only eligible card holds 3 or more PlayStyles you don't want. It won't get Quick Step or Technical.
Short on time for Evo grinds? Rise From the Grave runs itself, but the match-based Evos and the Ultimate Scream objectives that pay for Wicked Winger don't. If you'd rather not grind them, we can clear them for you:
- EA FC 27 Evolutions Boost — match-based Evos and Pathways completed on your account.
- EA FC 27 Coins — for the right base card, or the squad around your new winger.

How long does Rise From the Grave take? Five Training Camp levels of 4 hours 48 minutes each, so 24 hours in total. No matches are needed, but you have to claim each level and send the player back in.
When does Rise From the Grave expire? Start it by Thursday 26 November 2026, 18:00 UTC, and finish it by Thursday 3 December 2026, 18:00 UTC.
What OVR does Rise From the Grave give? +36 OVR capped at 80. All 2,663 eligible cards on fut.gg finish at exactly 80, from a 47-rated bronze upwards.
Does Rise From the Grave give PlayStyles? Yes: Quick Step at level 2 and Technical at level 3, but only while the card holds fewer than 3 PlayStyles. Cards that already have 3 or more get neither.
Can I use Rise From the Grave before Wicked Winger? For most cards the listed requirements allow it, and the result would be an 85. Cards that finish with DEF above 70 or Strength above 80 still fail Wicked Winger, and fut.gg's chain calculator showed no chained results on 27 October, so check the in-game Evolution preview before spending 900 Scream tokens.
