Quick answer (TLDR): There is no GTA 6 Collector's Edition that comes with the game. Rockstar sells GTA 6 in two editions only, Standard ($79.99) and Ultimate ($99.99). The thing people call the "Collector's Edition" is Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection, a $399.99 box of 11 merch items (Oakley sunglasses, a New Era cap, a Macca the Gator figure, a Leonida map poster and more). Is there a GTA 6 Collector's Edition with the game?
No. GTA 6 itself comes in exactly two editions, announced by Rockstar on June 24, 2026, with pre-orders opening June 25:

On September 24, 2026, Rockstar announced a separate physical product on Newswire. Its own description:

The confusion is understandable, because Rockstar's own store listing calls it "a premium Collector's Box", and most coverage shortened that to "GTA 6 Collector's Edition". But the product page is explicit: "Note: Grand Theft Auto VI game sold separately." There's no disc, no download code and no in-game bonus inside the box.
This isn't new for Rockstar. The Red Dead Redemption 2 Collector's Box (2018) also left the game out, and cost $99.99. The GTA 6 box costs four times that. If you want the game and the box, budget $479.98 for Standard + box or $499.98 for Ultimate + box, before shipping and tax.
What's inside the GTA 6 Vice City Collection? (All 11 items)
The box itself measures 19 × 13.5 × 12.5 inches (about 48 × 34 × 32 cm), and everything inside is themed around Macca the Gator, a fictional TV show that exists inside Leonida. Here's the full list with the dimensions Rockstar publishes in its FAQ:

The box is marked "Adult collectibles. Not a toy. Ages 18+. Fragile.", so don't plan it as a gift for a younger sibling.
Which items are actually worth it?
Rockstar hasn't priced the items individually, so any "value" figure is an estimate. In our view, three things justify most of the price for a collector:
- The Leonida map poster. It's the first physical, Rockstar-printed map of the game's state, and at 36 × 26 inches it's a proper wall piece. - The Oakley Frogskins. These are real Oakley sunglasses with Prizm lenses, not a branded knock-off. That makes them the most usable item in the box.
- The Macca figure. A 16 cm figure with a hidden stash base, and the item most likely to hold resale value if the run really is small.
The rest (shot glass, spoon, keychain, pins, stickers, mirror) is fun, well-made small merch, but none of it would carry a big price on its own. In short, the box is priced for scarcity and display value, not for the sum of its parts.

All of these come before shipping. The listing states "This item is not eligible for free shipping", and you'll see the delivery cost at checkout. The FAQ also warns that "Additional duties and taxes may be imposed by local authorities outside the US and UK." For comparison, the game itself costs £69.99 / €79.99 / C$109.99. Which countries does the Vice City Collection ship to?
According to the Rockstar Store FAQ, the box ships to 23 countries:
Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK and the United States.
Australia, Japan, the rest of Asia and Latin America are not on the list. RockstarINTEL reports that pre-orders for those regions will open at a later date, but Rockstar hasn't given a date or price for any of them yet. Until it does, treat a listing on a third-party site that claims to ship there with caution.
Is the GTA 6 Collector's Edition sold out?
Not yet. When we checked the live Rockstar Store listing on October 24, 2026, the product was still marked as a pre-order (availability starting 2026-11-19) and purchasable, at €399.99 on the European storefront.
But Rockstar is clear that this is a short run. The store FAQ answers "Is this a limited edition item?" with:
"Yes, this item is currently only available in limited quantities." — Rockstar Store, Collector's FAQ
The rules for ordering:
- 1 per person. The FAQ reads "Limited to 1 purchase per person. Purchase requires log-in to the Rockstar Store." There's no guest checkout.
- Ships from November 19, 2026, the same day the game launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. That's the ship date, so expect delivery a few days later depending on the shipping option you pick.
- Each box gets its own tracking number, sent by email when it ships.
- If it sells out, you can still wishlist it and opt into Rockstar's marketing emails for restock news.
How do I cancel a GTA 6 Collector's box pre-order?
Physical orders on the Rockstar Store go through Rockstar's fulfillment partner, Xsolla, not through Rockstar Support. Per the FAQ:
- Open Xsolla's physical pre-order cancellation form (linked from the Rockstar Store FAQ: help.xsolla.com/pre-orders/cancel-pre-order).
- Enter your order number and the email address you ordered with.
- For anything else, contact Rockstar Support.
Cancelling through Xsolla works before the box ships. After it ships, EU buyers still have the standard 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases, which for physical goods starts on the day of delivery, not the order date (a point one r/GTA6 commenter raised under the thread from the player who bought the box by mistake). Even so, if you pre-ordered expecting a copy of the game, cancel now rather than after November 19, because a cancellation is simpler than a return.
What are players saying about the $400 box?
In r/GTA6 the thread about the Vice City Collection pre-order got little sympathy. Most replies told the original poster to read the listing more carefully, since the page says the game is sold separately. Several suggested that a lot of buyers had planned to flip the box on eBay for double and were now stuck with it. A few joked about offering "tree fiddy" for it. The useful takeaway: resale demand is not guaranteed. Buy it because you want the poster, the shades and the figure, not as an investment.
Which GTA 6 edition should you buy with it?
The box gives you nothing in-game, so you still need the game. In short:
