Steal An Egg Value List: Best Pets & Income Tier List (September 2026)

There is no official value list in Steal An Egg — the developers never publish one. But the game does publish the one number that actually decides a pet's worth: its money-per-second (money/s) income. That figure is baked into every pet, visible in the in-game Pet Index, and it ranks every animal in the game from a $1/s Forest Chicken to a $1B/s Cosmic Unicorn. This is the real value list — a full pet index and income tier list current for the September 2026 version of Steal An Egg (Roblox Games API pull 2026-09-04: 1.64M concurrent players, the #1 experience on the platform by a 5× margin).

Quick answer: In Steal An Egg, a pet's value = its money/s income (shown in the Pet Index). The single best pet is the Unicorn (Divine, Cosmic biome) at $1B/s. The top tier below it is the Eternal class — Mosasaurus $180M/s, El Maja $130M/s, Lava Dragon $100M/s, Phoenix $85M/s, Ice Dragon $65M/s, and the Eternal Lunar Dragon $250M/s (Cosmic). There are ~105 pets across 10 biomes (plus Robux-only Store pets). Higher biomes need far more Speed to steal from — the Cosmic biome wants millions of Speed.

Trade values, "worth" and demand all follow that income number, so the fastest way to read any offer is: what does this pet earn per second, and how hard is it to get? Below is the complete index, tier by tier, plus how the economy and trading actually work in September 2026.

How value works in Steal An Egg (money/s is the whole game)

Steal An Egg is a "steal-and-hatch" income sim. The loop: steal eggs from a biome's guardian → carry them to your base and hatch them into pets → each pet generates money/second forever → spend that money and train Speed on the treadmill to reach richer, faster-guarded biomes → Rebirth for permanent multipliers → repeat, and steal from other players' pens along the way. Eggs reset roughly every in-game night (~4.5 minutes), so there's always a fresh spawn to grab.

Because pets pay out passively and permanently, money/s is the value unit — not an abstract community "value" number like you'd see in Adopt Me (RP) or MM2. Two things set a pet's real worth:

  • Income (money/s) — how fast it prints money. This is dev-set and non-negotiable.
  • Acquisition difficulty — which biome it drops in, its rarity, and how much Speed you need to survive the steal. A Secret from a late biome is worth far more in trade than an Epic from the Forest even at similar income, because supply is tiny.

The rarity ladder, ordered from most common to rarest: Common → Uncommon → Rare → Epic → Legendary → Mythic → Cosmic → Secret → Eternal → Divine. As IGN's official Steal An Egg wiki puts it, "There are eight pets for every biome... The larger and more exotic the egg is that appears in the biome, the higher the likelihood you have of getting an animal that has a higher rarity or one with a unique mutation." Higher rarity almost always means higher income — but not perfectly, so always check the index number, not just the color.

One rule for this whole list: there is no official value list for any Roblox experience, Steal An Egg included. The income figures below are dev-set and pulled from the in-game Pet Index (via IGN's index, cross-checked 2026-09-04); any trade "value" on top of that is community consensus and moves with every weekly update. Treat trade offers as estimates, never as fixed prices.

Steal An Egg best pets — the S-tier income list (September 2026)

If you only care about the biggest earners, here is the top of the food chain. These are the pets that decide leaderboards and headline every trade.

The Unicorn isn't just #1 — at $1B/s it out-earns the entire Eternal tier combined, which is why it's the game's status pet and the anchor of nearly every high-end trade. Below it, the Eternal class (dragons, Mosasaurus, El Maja) is the realistic end-game goal for most players, and the Secret tier (Kraken, T-Rex, Cosmic Dragon) is where serious grinders live before they hit Eternal.

Steal An Egg gameplay — a player crossing a biome toward a fenced area of giant pets

Full Steal An Egg pet index by biome

There are ~105 pets to collect for a complete index (community trackers list ~106 including limited Store entries), spread across 10 biomes — Forest, Lake, Desert, Jungle, Snow, Volcano, Abyss Ocean, Prehistoric, Cosmic, and the newest, Cherry Blossom — plus the Titan Temple hub. Each biome has its own guardian you must out-run and a recommended Speed to steal safely. Here's the income breakdown per biome (dev-set money/s from the Pet Index).

Forest & Lake (starter biomes)

Where everyone begins. The Forest has no Speed requirement (starting area); the Lake wants around 900 Speed.

Each biome's Legendary (Brr Brr Patapim, Axolotl) is the early "best pet" target — roughly 1,000× a Common from the same area — and it's the smart first grind before you push deeper.

The Cherry Blossom biome (added in the late-August update) sits alongside these with pets like the Koi (Cosmic, $12M/s) and Salamander (Legendary, $74k/s), unlocked via the Sakura Incubator. Its guardian is an Oni Tiger and it wants roughly 2.5B Speed to farm safely — firmly end-game territory.

Robux Store pets (the only pay-to-get tier)

Most pets come from biome eggs, but a handful are Store-only and cost Robux — the Brainrot Eggs: Tung Tung Sahur, Bananita Dolphinita, Belula Beluga, Mangolini Parrochini, Bomboclat Crocolat, and Strawberry Elephant. As IGN's index notes, "only the Brainrot Eggs cannot be obtained from a biome, as they are only available in the Store, and you have to use Robux to unlock them." Their exact income isn't fully indexed yet, so treat any quoted money/s for them as unconfirmed. If you're buying Robux to grab these — or to speed up your Speed grind — get it at a fair rate rather than overpaying in-app.

Steal An Egg base pen with a stolen egg and hatched pets generating income

Speed is the real currency (how to actually reach the best pets)

Income tells you which pet you want; Speed tells you which pet you can get. Every biome guardian chases you the moment you grab an egg, and if you're below the recommended Speed, you get caught and drop it. The recommended Speeds climb hard: the Lake wants ~900, the Desert a few thousand, the Snow tens of thousands, and the Cosmic/Cherry Blossom biomes want millions. IGN's advice, from playing it: hit the recommended number, then double it — "clearing the recommended speed and doubling it is always a good way to make sure you can outrun the guardian (but you still might have trouble against other players!)."

Practical progression:

  • Train Speed on the treadmill constantly — it's the gate on everything.
  • Rebirth once your income plateaus; the permanent multipliers pay for themselves fast.
  • Farm the current biome's Legendary before pushing to the next — it funds the Speed you need.
  • Watch your pen. Other players can steal your eggs, so hatch quickly rather than hoarding uncracked eggs.

If the Speed grind is the part you don't enjoy, that's exactly the kind of thing a boosting service handles — see the CTA below.

Do trade values matter if there's no official list?

Yes — but only as a layer on top of income. Because supply of late-biome Secrets/Eternals is tiny and their income is enormous, they command the biggest trades, and community sites publish "value" estimates for them. Just remember three things: (1) those numbers are community consensus, not official; (2) they move every weekly update as new pets and mutations arrive; and (3) mutations (which boost a pet's income) exist but their exact multipliers are not dev-published — check the in-game UI, and never assume Steal a Brainrot or Grow a Garden 2 multipliers carry over. When in doubt, price a trade by the money/s you can verify in the index, then adjust for rarity.

Quick reference: value tiers at a glance

  • God tier: Unicorn ($1B/s) — in a class of its own.
  • Eternal tier (end-game goal): Eternal Lunar Dragon $250M/s, Mosasaurus $180M/s, El Maja $130M/s, Lava Dragon $100M/s, Phoenix $85M/s, Ice Dragon $65M/s.
  • Secret tier (high grind): Cosmic Dragon $60M/s, Tralaledon $32M/s, T-Rex $25M/s, Kraken $15M/s, Yeti $5M/s, King Snake $3.5M/s.
  • Cosmic tier (mid-late): Leviathan/King Mammoth/Royal Sphinx/Koi — $220k–$12M/s.
  • Early best: each biome's Legendary (Brr Brr Patapim, Axolotl, Snake, Gorilla) — your first real income jumps.

FAQ

What is the best pet in Steal An Egg? The Unicorn (Divine rarity, Cosmic biome) at $1B/s is the single best pet by income — it earns more than the entire tier below it. Below it, the best realistic targets are the Eternal pets: Eternal Lunar Dragon ($250M/s), Mosasaurus ($180M/s), El Maja ($130M/s), Lava Dragon ($100M/s) and Phoenix ($85M/s).

Is there an official Steal An Egg value list? No. The developers never publish a value list. The one official number is each pet's money-per-second income, shown in the in-game Pet Index — that's what determines value. Any "trade value" beyond that is community consensus and changes with every weekly update.

How many pets are in Steal An Egg? Around 105 pets to complete the index — eight per biome across 10 biomes — plus a handful of limited Robux Store Brainrot Eggs. Community trackers commonly list ~106 total entries including special/limited pets.

How do I get the rarest pets in Steal An Egg? Rare pets come from the late biomes (Snow, Volcano, Abyss Ocean, Prehistoric, Cosmic, Cherry Blossom), and stealing there requires enormous Speed — up to millions. Train Speed on the treadmill, Rebirth for permanent multipliers, farm each biome's Legendary to fund the next jump, and aim for double the recommended Speed so you can out-run the guardian.

Does Steal An Egg have codes? No. As of September 2026 the game has no codes system and no active codes — there's no code redemption menu in-game. Any site listing "Steal An Egg codes" is filler; progress comes from stealing, hatching and Speed, not codes.

How much Speed do I need for each biome? It scales steeply: the Lake wants about 900, mid-game biomes want thousands to tens of thousands, and the Cosmic and Cherry Blossom biomes want millions (Cherry Blossom ~2.5B recommended). Always aim to roughly double the listed recommended Speed to reliably escape the guardian.
