Most event roundups tell you what is live today. What they leave out is what is about to expire — and that omission is what costs rewards. Version 3.2's events do not end when the version does, and do not all start when it does. Eight of the eleven in-game events were not open on update day, and seven slam shut inside the same 24 hours near the end.
Quick answer: Version 3.2 of Zenless Zone Zero runs 42 days, from 2026/09/09 06:00 to 2026/10/21 06:00 (UTC+8), with 11 in-game events plus three external ones. Live now: All-New Program (7 total log-in days, not consecutive, for Encrypted Master Tape ×10), Angels Support Operation, Potential Hypothesis: Reforged in Fire, Clink, Clank, Pinball Knight! and Shadow Chase Showdown, which opened today. The trap: nine of the eleven close before the version itself ends, four on 2026/10/19 03:59 and three on 2026/10/20 03:59 — so "I'll clear it before the patch ends" loses you rewards. The exception runs the other way: Angels Support Operation lasts until 2026/11/30 03:59, roughly 40 days past the end of 3.2, spanning into Version 3.3.

When does Version 3.2 of Zenless Zone Zero start and end?
The official notice is explicit, and worth quoting because every deadline below hangs off it:
"Can be claimed until the end of Version 3.2. Please note that Version 3.2 will run for 42 days, ending on 2026/10/21 06:00 (UTC+8)."

Version 3.2 is titled Their Secret Histories. Maintenance began 2026/09/09 06:00 (UTC+8), scheduled for about five hours; 42 days from that stamp lands exactly on the published end. That is a long runway, which is why the "I have ages" instinct is dangerous: the version is long, most of the events inside it are not.
Event notices give windows in server time — your region's clock, not your time zone — while version stamps are in UTC+8. On America or Europe servers, treat the in-game timer as authoritative in an event's final hours.
Which ZZZ events are live right now?
As of 16 September 2026, five in-game events are open:

Shadow Chase Showdown opened today at 10:00 server time. It is the version's scored combat event, built on nine VR Challenge stages — six Alliance, three Special Offensive — and the official event notice confirms a new themed stage unlocks each day rather than the whole set at once. Special Offensive stages score Technique Combos: launching different techniques with Claret inside a set time window multiplies your score. You do not need to own her — the notice states Special Offensive stages allow only the trial Agents provided, and Alliance stages let you pick from the available trial Agents and Bangboo. All-New Program is the one to not forget. Seven total log-in days — not consecutive — pays Encrypted Master Tape ×10, ten Signal Searches on the Exclusive and W-Engine Channels. It ends 2026/10/20 03:59, so a two-week break mid-patch can still cost it.
Angels Support Operation is the outlier. It runs to 2026/11/30 03:59, spanning Versions 3.2 and 3.3. Completing its limited-time missions lets you select an Angels of Delusion limited outfit of your choice — Nangong Yu: Heartfelt Support, Aria: Cuteness Loading, or Sunna: Delusions in Business — and you can claim one for an Agent you do not own. HoYoverse lists all three against three missions that unlock one after another across 3.2 and 3.3, says each outfit is claimable once per Proxy, but never spells out the per-mission grant — so treat any hard "all three in 3.2" count as unverified. The one thing that does bite:

Three things fall out of that table that no event menu tells you.
First, the version front-loads almost nothing. Only three events were open on 9 September — anyone who checked the panel that day and called the patch light saw under a third of it. Two more start in October.
Second, the end is a pile-up. Four events — Clink, Clank, Pinball Knight!, Diary of an Orbie Parent, Chronicles of the Hobbling Crow and Data Bounty: Combat Simulation — close at 2026/10/19 03:59. Three more — All-New Program, Surprise Screening Plan and "En-Nah" Into Your Lap — close at 2026/10/20 03:59. Seven expire in a 24-hour band ending a day before the version does. If you plan one late catch-up session, it has to happen before 19 October, not before 21 October.
Third, the two shortest windows are both just under five days. Advanced Bounty: Area Patrol doubles Area Patrol rewards from 2026/09/23 04:00 to 2026/09/28 03:59; it needs Inter-Knot Lv. 21, the Reputation Rank-Up Mission "Path of the Proxy I" and Area Patrol unlocked. Data Bounty: Combat Simulation repeats the idea from 2026/10/14 04:00 to 2026/10/19 03:59. Both are pure resource multipliers — best return per minute in the version, and easiest to sleep through.
What is coming later in Version 3.2?
Six events have not started. The two bounty weeks are covered above; here are the other four.
Surprise Screening Plan opens 2026/09/23 10:00 and runs to 2026/10/20 03:59. A check-in event, and the second route to an Angels of Delusion outfit — the summary lists an outfit of your choice, an avatar and Polychromes. Needs Inter-Knot Lv. 5, the Main Story Prologue and the Event feature.
Diary of an Orbie Parent opens 2026/09/30 10:00 and runs to 2026/10/19 03:59 — a raising and bonding minigame around Orbie.
"En-Nah" Into Your Lap opens 2026/09/30 10:00 and runs to 2026/10/20 03:59. Seven total log-in days for Boopon ×10 — ten Bangboo Channel pulls. HoYoverse's notice lists no new Bangboo, so this is a clean patch to bank or spend them; our ZZZ Bangboo tier list covers which targets are worth it.
Chronicles of the Hobbling Crow opens 2026/10/03 10:00 and runs to 2026/10/19 03:59. HoYoverse has published only a flavour line, so the format is unconfirmed until its notice drops.
Which ZZZ events give free Polychrome and pulls?
Separating reward types matters: "events" here includes web and platform events that never appear in the in-game panel.
- Version 3.2 update compensation — Polychrome ×300 for the server update plus Polychrome ×300 for issue fixes, both needing Inter-Knot Lv. 4 before 2026/09/09 06:00 (UTC+8). The server-update Polychrome is claimable until the version ends; the issue-fix Polychrome must be claimed before 2026/10/09 23:59 (UTC+8). Both arrive by mail, and that mail expires 30 days after delivery — so in practice both want claiming by around 9 October.
- All-New Program — Encrypted Master Tape ×10 for 7 total log-in days. Ends 2026/10/20 03:59 server time.
- "En-Nah" Into Your Lap — Boopon ×10 for 7 total log-in days. Opens 2026/09/30 10:00, ends 2026/10/20 03:59 server time.
- Twitch Drops — Denny ×12,000 at 15 minutes watched, Senior Investigator Log ×2 at 30, W-Engine Energy Module ×3 at 45, Bangboo System Widget ×2 at 60, Polychrome ×50 at 120 minutes total. Runs September 9 10:00 to September 30 23:59:59 (UTC+8); link Twitch to your ZZZ account first.
- Vyrium Vacation Album — a HoYoLAB web event, guaranteed Polychrome ×30, plus a draw for 100 Angels of Delusion plush toys. Runs September 9 to October 10.
- Operation: Hollow Tycoon — a HoYoLAB prize event, September 13 to September 27 23:59 (UTC+8), drawing Bangboo Garden Kingdom Mini Surprise Box (5 Random Types) ×50 at random. Winners announced 16 October.
Every other window there closes before the version does, three much earlier: Operation: Hollow Tycoon on 27 September, Twitch Drops on 30 September, Vyrium Vacation Album on 10 October. So does the Phase I Signal Search period — the official limited channel notice puts its end at 2026/09/30 11:59 server time, covering Claret on "Bloodmoon Rising" and Nangong Yu on "Axiom of Captivation". The ZZZ 3.2 banner schedule breaks the phases down, and your Polychrome for those pulls is partly decided by whether you clear the events above.
Codes are a separate free-currency stream that rotates independently of the event calendar; our Zenless Zone Zero codes page is refreshed each patch. Do not count on codes to fund a banner.
Does Signal Search pity carry over between Version 3.2 banner phases?
The official channel notice answers this directly rather than leaving it to community testing:
"The search count for guaranteed signals is cumulative across all Exclusive Channels, but is independent of and unaffected by other types of channels."

In practice: pity carries across any Exclusive Channel, so Phase I progress is not stranded when the featured Agent changes, while Exclusive and W-Engine progress are tracked separately. Pulls banked now are not "locked" to today's featured Agent — which is why the log-in events are worth clearing even if you skip the current banner.
What is not confirmed yet in Version 3.2?
A few things are genuinely open, and an honest answer beats a guess.
- Surprise Screening Plan's Polychrome amount. The official summary lists Polychromes without a number. Treat any figure you see before 23 September as unverified.
- Version 3.3's event calendar. Angels Support Operation's later missions unlock "during Versions 3.2 – 3.3", but HoYoverse has not published 3.3's schedule. Any 3.3 event list circulating now is leak material, not an announcement.
- The Hollow Vanguards test window. Recruitment closes Sep 20, 2026 23:59 (UTC+8), but the notice says test times go directly to selected Proxies. There is no public date, and participants sign a confidentiality agreement — so no test content appears here.
- Region-by-region local cutoffs. We are not publishing converted local times: the in-game timer is authoritative, and a rounding error near a deadline is what costs rewards.
How should you prioritise the rest of the patch?
Clear the log-in events first — they are pure calendar and cannot be caught up. All-New Program needs seven log-in days before 20 October, and "En-Nah" Into Your Lap seven more between 30 September and 20 October. Next, do Vyrium Vacation Album — a guaranteed Polychrome ×30, closing 10 October. Operation: Hollow Tycoon (closes 27 September) is a random draw, so post your best extraction run and treat it as a lottery ticket. Then put Twitch Drops on before 30 September: two hours of background watching pays Polychrome ×50. Then hit the two bounty weeks, 23 to 28 September and 14 to 19 October — doubled rewards on content you were going to run anyway.
Leave the big combat and story events for last, but not past 19 October — except Shadow Chase Showdown, which ends 5 October, two weeks ahead of the pack.
