Both BLAST Open Porto 2026 semi-finals were decided on Saturday 5 September. The grand final is set: Team Spirit vs MOUZ, starting at 15:00 WEST (14:00 UTC) on Sunday 6 September. Spirit beat Team Falcons 2–0 and MOUZ beat Team Vitality 2–0, both in straight maps, to close out the semi-final day at the Super Bock Arena. The final is a best-of-five worth $250,000 to the winner and it is the last match of the tournament — BLAST Open Porto ends on 6 September.
How Spirit and MOUZ reached the final
Spirit took the first semi-final 2–0. They opened on Nuke, winning 13–8, then closed it out on Ancient 13–11 in a tighter second map. The decider, Dust II, was never played. Spirit's lineup in Porto is magixx, zont1x, donk, sh1ro and tN1R, coached by hally.
MOUZ produced the same scoreline against Vitality in the second semi-final, but built it the other way round. They edged Dust II 13–11 first, then pulled clear on Mirage 13–7. Inferno, the listed third map, went unused. Vitality have been playing Porto with jL standing in for mezii, who has been absent since 4 August following the birth of his second child.
Neither semi-final went to overtime, and neither went the distance.
How the Porto bracket got here
The playoff bracket in Porto is single-elimination, and Spirit and MOUZ never had to play in the first round. Both won their groups in the Copenhagen group stage and were seeded straight into the semi-finals — the bye we covered when the Porto playoff field was locked in on 31 August.
The two quarter-finals were played on Friday 4 September:
- Falcons 2–0 G2 — Inferno 13–6, Dust II 13–9.
- Vitality 2–1 FURIA — FURIA took Nuke 13–6, then Vitality answered with Cache 13–11 and Dust II 13–4.
That sent Falcons into Spirit and Vitality into MOUZ. Both quarter-final winners then lost, so the two teams that skipped the round entirely are the two contesting the title.
What the final is actually worth
The Porto prize pool is $1,100,000. The split at the top is steep:
- Winner: $250,000
- Runner-up: $160,000
- Losing semi-finalists (Falcons, Vitality): $115,000 each
There is a second currency on the line as well. BLAST Open events award Frequent Flyers Program tokens — three to the champion, one to each team placing second through sixth. The FFP is a $2,000,000 revenue-share pool for the 2026 calendar year that is divided among teams according to how many tokens they hold, so the gap between lifting the trophy and losing the final is not $90,000 but $90,000 plus two extra shares of that annual pot. Teams must attend at least four BLAST Premier events in the year to be eligible to redeem tokens at all.
The ranking stakes
Porto matters for the ranking picture, and the two lists the scene watches disagree sharply about MOUZ. On HLTV's 31 August world ranking — the last one published before the playoffs began — Spirit sat first on 998 points with MOUZ down in fifth on 499. Valve's own regional standings, which are what actually govern Major invitations, rate them far higher: the most recent standings file Valve has published, dated 3 August, has Spirit first on 2,011, Falcons second on 1,950 and MOUZ third on 1,873. Neither of those two dated lists reflects a single map played in the Porto playoffs. Valve's regional standings have been published on the first Monday of every month through 2026 — eight global standings files, eight first Mondays — which puts the next refresh on 7 September, the day after this final. The grand final is a best-of-five, unlike the quarter-finals and semi-finals, which were best-of-three. It is scheduled for 15:00 WEST on Sunday 6 September, which is 14:00 UTC, 16:00 CEST, 17:00 Moscow time and 10:00 ET. It had not yet been played when this piece was published.
BLAST is broadcasting on the official BLAST Premier channels on Twitch, YouTube and Kick, with additional Portuguese, Russian, Brazilian, French, Ukrainian and Vietnamese language streams. The playoffs are being played in front of a crowd at the Super Bock Arena in Porto; the group stage was held at BLAST Studios in Copenhagen.
