Phosphorescent Stone Drake Mount

Aeonaxx - Reins of the Phosphorescent Stone Drake Camp

  • Deepholm Spawn Camp
  • Guaranteed Mount
  • One Flat Price

Aeonaxx is a rare elite stone drake that patrols Deepholm, the Cataclysm zone under Azeroth, and he drops Reins of the Phosphorescent Stone Drake at a 100% rate every time he dies. No loot roll, no bad-luck streak, no lockout. The whole job is catching the spawn, which is why timesaver.gg books this as one flat $197.99 until-drop contract instead of an hourly block.

The spawn is the entire difficulty. Aeonaxx uses six known points ringing the Temple of Earth - roughly 42.0, 43.6 / 43.0, 50.8 / 49.1, 55.6 / 50.5, 63.5 / 53.7, 39.7 and 55.0, 54.1 - and he shares all of them, plus the timer, with Blood Seeker, a level 15 bat left over from old Shadowfang Keep. Community trackers put Aeonaxx at only about 6% of those windows. The bat takes the rest, and it is a tapped, shared spawn, so whoever reaches him first owns him.

The respawn window, quoted honestly. Blizzard has never published a timer for this rare. Community trackers report the shared window as roughly 2 to 8 hours, while the wiki logs it as wide as 6 to 22 hours between appearances. Both numbers are player-collected, they disagree, and anyone selling you a single exact respawn figure is guessing.

The pull is not a tab-target. Aeonaxx flies a slow patrol as a neutral target, and a player has to right-click him like a vehicle to climb onto his back - that interaction is what starts the encounter. He turns hostile, flies his route and summons Young Stone Drakes at about 7,749 health each. He can also be body-pulled and leashes at 100 yards. At the modern cap the kill is trivial and the 5-minute Wild Wrath enrage, with its Fatal Bite for 50% of max health, never comes into play. He must be tagged in a party of 5 or fewer, because a raid group cannot loot him.

What is included:

  • Round-the-clock coverage of the Aeonaxx spawn ring in Deepholm until the reins are looted on your character;
  • Blood Seeker cleared whenever the bat wins the window, so the shared timer keeps rolling;
  • The right-click vehicle pull handled cleanly so the tag is never lost to another camper or the opposite faction;
  • All gold, gear and quest rewards generated during the camp;
  • Piloted by default; Self-play Remote adds 30%, Express adds 20% and Super Express adds 40%.

How long it takes, and how permanent it is. No honest ETA exists for a shared-window rare with a 6% hit rate and no published timer; realistically campers sink days of wall-clock coverage into it, and this contract books that as one price rather than repeat blocks. Once the reins are used the drake is account-wide - it sits in the Mount Journal for every character on the account with Apprentice Riding at level 27. The region toggle opens on US with an independent matching EU ladder, and scheduling runs on ET or PT.

Frequently asked questions

  • Aeonaxx spawns at six known points ringing the Temple of Earth in Deepholm: roughly 42.0, 43.6 in the north west, 43.0, 50.8 in the west, 49.1, 55.6 in the center, 50.5, 63.5 in the south, 53.7, 39.7 in the north east and 55.0, 54.1 in the east. He does not stay put once up, he flies a patrol, which is why one camper flying laps between six points misses spawns that a rotating team catches.

  • Reins of the Phosphorescent Stone Drake drop from Aeonaxx at a 100% rate. There is no percentage roll to lose: if Aeonaxx dies and your group holds the tag, the mount is in the bag. That is the difference between this camp and a percentage-drop farm, and it is why the SKU is priced as a flat until-drop camp rather than an attempt ladder. The scarce thing is the spawn, not the loot.

  • There is no published timer. Player-run trackers report the Aeonaxx window in Deepholm as roughly 2 to 8 hours, and the wiki logs gaps as wide as 6 to 22 hours. On top of that he shares the spawn with Blood Seeker, a level 15 bat, and only about 6% of those windows produce Aeonaxx. Treat any single exact respawn number you see quoted for Aeonaxx as a guess.

  • Aeonaxx flies a slow patrol as a neutral target and you start the encounter by right-clicking him like a vehicle to climb onto his back. He then turns hostile, flies his route through Deepholm and summons Young Stone Drakes with about 7,749 health each. He can also be body-pulled and leashes at 100 yards. His 5-minute Wild Wrath enrage and its Fatal Bite for 50% of max health never matter at the modern level cap.

  • No. Aeonaxx cannot be looted in a raid, so the camp is run in a party of 5 or fewer. Inside that party all 5 players who tag him receive their own Reins of the Phosphorescent Stone Drake, since the drop is 100% per eligible looter. Trial characters are excluded from the loot entirely, so the camp is run on a full account rather than a class trial.

  • Yes. Mounts have been account-wide since Mists of Pandaria, so once Reins of the Phosphorescent Stone Drake are used the drake lands in your Mount Journal and every character on the account can summon it. The item is bind on pickup and needs only level 27 and Apprentice Riding after the Patch 9.0.2 requirement change, so an alt can ride it the day it is learned.

  • Yes. US is the region the page opens on, and the Aeonaxx camp runs on US realms with its own $197.99 ladder; EU players flip the region toggle to reach the separate matching EU ladder. Order updates, camper handoffs and support are scheduled in ET or PT during US hours, and the flat until-drop price is billed in USD.

  • Yes. Aeonaxx was never removed. Deepholm is still a live retail zone, the rare still cycles through its six spawn points, and Reins of the Phosphorescent Stone Drake still drop at 100% from him. Because it is old Cataclysm content with no quest gate and no weekly lockout, any character that can fly into Deepholm is eligible the day the camp starts.
