Uuna's Doll Secret Chain

Uuna's Doll - Legion Secret Pet Chain and World Tour

  • Account-Wide Pet
  • 8-Stop World Tour

Uuna's Doll is the Legion secret item that teaches Uuna, a non-combat companion pet from patch 7.3 whose storyline landed in 7.3.5. Be clear on what this is: Uuna is a pet-journal companion who cannot pet battle, not a mount and not an achievement. The doll drops from The Many-Faced Devourer, an Ur'zul rare elite you summon yourself at the Bone Effigy in Scavenger's Boneyard, Antoran Wastes on Argus.

One part is a dice roll, the rest is not. To summon the Devourer a character loots a Call of the Devourer from the mobs around the Boneyard, then collects 3 bones — the Fiend Bone, the Ur'zul Bone and the Imp Bone deep in the imp cave. The doll itself is pure RNG. Blizzard never published a number; community trackers put it at roughly 25% to 30%, with WarcraftPets listing 28% after a January 2018 hotfix raised it. The Devourer only pays loot once per character per day, so this stage burns calendar days, not play hours, and streaks of a dozen dry kills are on record.

After the doll drops nothing else rolls. The remainder is fully deterministic: 12 tracked storyline steps running from the /whistle, /roar and /cry emotes through A'dal in Shattrath, Lake Falathim in Ashenvale, the Nuu doll on a floating island in Eredath, the star wand at Blood Watch and the flower crown in Draenor's Shadowmoon Valley, then a Spirit Healer and the Shadow Tear at the Emerald Dragonshrine. That opens the A Dark Place scenario: survive about 3 minutes of Soul-Eaters, then hug her. Last comes the 8-stop World Tour, from the Gate of the Setting Sun to the Temple of Karabor.

Realistic total: about 6 to 10 hours of manual play once the doll is in the bag, on top of several days of daily Devourer attempts. The 6-hour block covers a clean storyline run and the 10-hour block absorbs the full tour. Where a doll hunt or a failed scenario runs long, the extra is booked as repeat blocks at the same hourly rate — 2 hours for $26.99, 4 for $53.99, 6 for $80.99, or 10 for $134.99. No ladder steps are added and no surprise fee appears.

Reward and delivery: the payoff is Uuna herself, permanently upgraded with the Nuu doll, the star wand, the flower crown and a Light shimmer, and she hugs back. She is account-wide like every pet-journal entry, and finishing the World Tour is the hard prerequisite for the Baa'l secret pet. Your account needs Argus and the Antoran Wastes unlocked. US is the default region with its own ladder and EU has a separate one. Piloted is standard, Self-play Remote adds 30%, Express 20%, Super Express 40%. Manual play only, no bots, booked with timesaver.gg.

Frequently asked questions

  • Uuna's Doll drops from The Many-Faced Devourer in the Antoran Wastes on Argus, and that rare has to be summoned. You loot a Call of the Devourer from the mobs around Scavenger's Boneyard, gather 3 bones — the Fiend Bone at 52.4 35.3, the Ur'zul Bone at 50.4 56.1 and the Imp Bone at 65.9 19.4 inside the imp cave — then click the Bone Effigy at 54.8 39.2 to raise him. Killing and looting him gives the doll roll. The bones are a one-time setup; after that the effigy can be used again each day.

  • Blizzard has never published a rate for Uuna's Doll. Community trackers put it at roughly 25% to 30%, with WarcraftPets listing 28%, and a Blizzard hotfix on January 18, 2018 raised it from its original much lower value. Because The Many-Faced Devourer only awards loot once per character per day, an average unlock takes about 3 to 4 daily kills, but players have reported more than a dozen dry days. This is the only genuinely random part of the whole Uuna chain.

  • Uuna is neither a mount nor a battle pet in the fighting sense. Uuna's Doll teaches a non-combat companion who lives in your pet journal and cannot enter pet battles. There is no mount, no achievement and no item reward at the end of her chain. What you get is the companion herself plus a permanent cosmetic upgrade after the 8-stop World Tour: she carries the Nuu doll, the star wand and a flower crown, glows with Light, and hugs you back when you use the /hug emote.

  • After Uuna's Doll drops, the chain realistically takes about 6 to 10 hours of manual play. The 12 scripted storyline steps are mostly cross-continent travel between Argus, Shattrath, Ashenvale, Bloodmyst Isle, Draenor and Dragonblight, gated by hearthstone cooldowns. The A Dark Place scenario itself is roughly 3 minutes of dodging Soul-Eaters. The 8-stop World Tour adds another long lap of Azeroth. Getting the doll first is separate and spreads over several calendar days because of the once-per-day loot lock.

  • Yes. Uuna is a pet-journal companion, and every pet-journal entry is account-wide, so once one character loots Uuna's Doll she can be summoned by any character on the account, Horde or Alliance. Players also report the storyline state carrying across characters, and her upgraded look with the doll, wand and flower crown shows on alts as well. That means you only pay for one run of the 12 storyline steps and the 8-stop World Tour, not one per character.

  • Yes. Uuna's Doll farming and the full secret chain are available on US realms and US is the default region on this page. Sessions are booked in ET or PT with US business-hours support, which matters here because the once-per-day Devourer lockout resets on daily reset and the schedule has to line up with your realm. Prices are in USD from $26.99 for a 2-hour block. EU players pick the separate EU ladder before checkout.

  • Yes. Nothing in the Uuna chain has been removed since patch 7.3.5, and every step is still completable on current retail — she even picked up new voice lines in patch 11.2.7 for the Dusk Lily puzzle. Two things trip people up today: your account needs Argus and the Antoran Wastes unlocked, and the Gate of the Setting Sun World Tour stop requires the Mists of Pandaria version of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, reached by talking to Zidormi at the Seat of Knowledge.

  • Yes. Baa'l, the secret demonic goat added in Battle for Azeroth, cannot be collected until you own Uuna and have finished her full storyline including all 8 World Tour stops. A fully upgraded Uuna is what weakens Baa'l so he can be caught. Uuna also plays a part in the Waist of Time secret. If Baa'l or the Waist of Time is your real goal, the Uuna chain is the prerequisite you have to clear first.
