What only Illidan gives you:

  • the Tier 6 chest token;
  • the only chance in the game at a Warglaive of Azzinoth — both glaives drop here and nowhere else;
  • the upgrade of your Medallion of Karabor into the Blessed Medallion of Karabor, which teleports you straight to the Black Temple gates from then on.

If the glaive is what you are here for, buy the Warglaive farm instead — this product is a single kill, and a single kill is a lottery ticket. The farm runs Illidan every lockout until a glaive actually lands.

Attunement is required. Black Temple is still gated on the Anniversary realms; the attunement was only removed from retail in patch 2.4 and Phase 3 sits before that. The chain also passes through Mount Hyjal, so both are ordered together above.
