Kurenai / Mag'har Reputation

Kurenai and Mag'har Reputation - Nagrand's Mirror Factions

  • Kurenai or Mag'har
  • Warbead Turn-Ins

Kurenai for Alliance, Mag'har for Horde — from $9.89 to Friendly, $120.59 to Exalted. These are Nagrand's two mirror factions with one shared grind. The Kurenai are Broken draenei who escaped ogre slavery and rebuilt at Telaar in the south of the zone; the Mag'har are the uncorrupted brown orcs holding Garadar on the northern lake. Same ogres, same turn-in, different quartermaster: Trader Narasu in the Telaar inn, Provisioner Nasela in southwestern Garadar.

Both sides begin at Unfriendly and cannot speak to a single Nagrand quest giver until Neutral. Alliance opens the faction with the Orebor Harborage quests in Zangarmarsh. Horde opens it with The Assassin chain out of Thrallmar in Hellfire Peninsula. That is 3,000 reputation spent before Nagrand even starts.

Neutral to Exalted is 42,000 reputation — 3,000 to Friendly, 6,000 more to Honored, 12,000 to Revered, then a 21,000 wall to Exalted. Working the whole Nagrand quest list, most of it worth 500 to 1,000 rep a quest, leaves a character somewhere around Revered and stops there.

Everything past that is ogres. Boulderfist and Warmaul kills give 10 reputation each and drop Obsidian Warbeads. Ten warbeads to Warden Moi'bff Jill in Telaar or Warden Bullrok in Garadar pays 500 reputation, repeatable to Exalted once you are Friendly. On a cold start that is 84 turn-ins, roughly 840 warbeads.

  • Warbeads are bind-on-pickup — nobody farms them for you on the auction house, and the same beads also feed The Consortium, so decide which bar you are filling before you hand any in.
  • The Ring of Blood is not a rep route. Gurgthock's six arena fights near the Laughing Skull Ruins pay 66 gold 60 silver, 85,050 experience and a free weapon, but only about 10 faction reputation.
  • The Ring of Convalescence is not sold here. That one is Honor Hold Revered from Logistics Officer Ulrike. Nagrand's ring is the Band of Elemental Spirits for Kurenai, Band of Ancestral Spirits for Mag'har.
  • No daily cap, so a booster grinds this straight through instead of waiting on resets. In Defense of Halaa adds 500 a day, but only while your side holds the town.

Exalted also carries the tabard, Far Seer's Helm for Kurenai or Hellscream's Will for Mag'har, and the standing the talbuk vendor checks. The eight talbuk mounts themselves are ordered on our separate War Talbuk listing — this page buys the reputation, not the reins. Every order is played by hand on your character by a timesaver.gg booster.

Frequently asked questions

  • They are mirror factions in Nagrand — Kurenai is Alliance-only from Telaar, the Mag'har is Horde-only from Garadar — and both are earned from the same Nagrand ogres and the same 10-warbead turn-in worth 500 reputation. The rewards match almost item for item, down to all eight talbuk mounts at Exalted. You pick your side by simply ordering on the character you play.

  • Neutral to Exalted with the Kurenai or the Mag'har is 42,000 reputation: 3,000 to Friendly, 6,000 to Honored, 12,000 to Revered and 21,000 more to Exalted. Both factions also start you at Unfriendly, so there is another 3,000 in front of that before any Nagrand quest giver will talk to you at all.

  • Alliance reaches Neutral with the Kurenai by clearing the Orebor Harborage quests in Zangarmarsh, and Horde reaches Neutral with the Mag'har through The Assassin questline that starts in Thrallmar in Hellfire Peninsula. Until you are Neutral the NPCs in Telaar and Garadar will not offer you anything, which is why so many level 70s find the Nagrand hub empty.

  • Kill Boulderfist and Warmaul ogres in Nagrand. Each one is worth 10 reputation and can drop an Obsidian Warbead, and ten warbeads handed to Warden Moi'bff Jill in Telaar or Warden Bullrok in Garadar returns 500 reputation on a quest you can repeat to Exalted. Doing the whole 42,000 that way alone is about 84 turn-ins, so most players quest to Revered first and grind only the last stretch.

  • Yes, and that is the trap. Obsidian Warbeads are accepted by both the Kurenai or Mag'har turn-in and by The Consortium, and each bead only ever pays one faction. They are bind-on-pickup, so you cannot buy replacements — decide which bar you want filled before you hand over the first stack of ten.

  • Barely. The Ring of Blood is Gurgthock's six-fight arena chain by the Laughing Skull Ruins in Nagrand, and it pays 66 gold 60 silver, 85,050 experience and a free level-70 weapon, but only around 10 reputation with the Kurenai or the Mag'har. Run it for the weapon and the gold, not to move the reputation bar.

  • Friendly sells the Netherfury Belt pattern, Honored adds the Drums of Speed and Drums of Restoration patterns plus the Reinforced Mining Bag, and Revered opens the Band of Elemental Spirits for Kurenai or the Band of Ancestral Spirits for Mag'har along with the Primal Fire to Earth transmute. Exalted is the tabard, Far Seer's Helm or Hellscream's Will, and access to the talbuk vendor, which we price on the separate War Talbuk page.

  • Every US TBC Anniversary realm, PvE and PvP alike, and US is the default region on this page with EU on the switch above. Because Kurenai and Mag'har reputation has no daily cap, the Nagrand farm is scheduled around your own hours in ET or PT rather than around a server reset, and our support team answers in USD during US business hours.
