The Sha'tari Skyguard is the air wing of the Sha'tar, the arm of Shattrath that fights the arakkoa of Skettis and the Legion forge camps over Blade's Edge - and the full run to Exalted is $62.99 here, Honored $9.89. The faction has two hubs: Blackwind Landing in southeastern Terokkar Forest, where the quartermaster Grella sits at roughly 64.4, 66.2, and the Skyguard Outpost next to Ogri'la in Blade's Edge Mountains.
Neutral to Exalted is 42,000 reputation - 3,000 to Friendly, 6,000 to Honored, 12,000 to Revered and 21,000 to Exalted. It opens with Threat from Above from Yuula near the Shattrath flight master, which wants level 70 and a flying mount, and the one-time chains across both hubs are worth about 5,330 rep before anything repeats.
The four dailies pay 1,350 rep a reset: Fires Over Skettis at 350, Escape from Skettis at 150 on Anniversary rather than the 350 older guides still print, Bomb Them Again at the Blade's Edge outpost for 500 and Wrangle More Aether Rays for 350. On dailies alone that is roughly 28 days of resets after the one-time quests are done, and running only the two Terokkar dailies drags it past 70 days. That is the honest daily number, and it is why almost nobody does it that way.
The part most listings get wrong: Skyguard rep is not daily-capped. Every Skettis arakkoa pays reputation all the way to Exalted - 5 per Kaliri, 10 for the standard birds, 30 for a Talonsworn Forest-Rager - and More Shadow Dust is repeatable to Exalted at 6 Shadow Dust for 150 rep, with dust freely tradeable on the auction house. Drinking an Elixir of Shadows reveals the Time-Lost arakkoa that drop Time-Lost Scrolls; 10 scrolls at a skull pile summons one of the four descendants at 100 rep a kill, the full set turns in Adversarial Blood for 350 and hands over a Time-Lost Offering, and that offering summons Terokk - 1,000 rep the first time through Terokk's Downfall, then 500 a kill on the repeatable Tokens of the Descendants. A complete boss cycle is about 1,250 rep on top of everything killed to fuel it. Stack dailies, dust turn-ins and Terokk together and Exalted lands in about a week instead of a month.
What each standing actually unlocks at Grella:
- Honored - Skyguard Rations, the Stamina and Spirit well-fed food, 12 gold;
- Revered - Skyguard's Drape (agility and attack power) and Skywitch's Drape (spell damage), 5 gold each, both carrying a slow-fall use effect that is worth real money when you are falling off a Skettis platform;
- Exalted - the Skyguard Silver Cross trinket, +11 crit rating with a 50% chance at +18 attack power for 30 seconds on a killing blow, its caster twin the Airman's Ribbon of Gallantry, both 4 gold, the Skyguard Tabard at 1 gold, the Nether Ray Fry pet at 40 gold, and vendor access to all five Riding Nether Rays.
