Sunmote Farm

Sunmote Farm — WoW TBC Anniversary

  • Priced Per Sunmote
  • Yrma Trade Guidance
  • Phase 4 Pre-Order

A Sunmote is the upgrade token of Sunwell Plateau, and it is sold here by the unit: $62.99 per Sunmote, 1 to 10 per order.

Where it drops: Sunmotes drop at a high rate from the Sunwell Plateau bosses - Kalecgos, Brutallus, Felmyst, the Eredar Twins, M'uru and Kil'jaeden - and at a small rate from Sunwell Plateau and Magisters' Terrace trash. Sunwell Plateau is 25-man on a 7-day lockout, so a character realistically banks a handful of Sunmotes per reset and no more. That supply cap is the whole reason this is priced per Sunmote instead of per run.

Use one - the Yrma exchange. Yrma, "Transmuter of Sin'dorei Relics", stands on the boat next to the Isle of Quel'Danas flight master and trades 1 Sunmote plus a specific Sunwell drop for the alternate-stat item in the same slot. Shadowed Gauntlets of Paroxysm from M'uru become Gloves of the Forest Drifter; Leggings of the Immortal Night from Felmyst become Leggings of the Immortal Beast. It is a straight swap, so the Sunmote decides whether your tier slot ends up with the stats your spec actually wants.

Use two - the 375 epic recipes. Sunmotes unlock the 375-skill Blacksmithing, Jewelcrafting, Leatherworking and Tailoring epic recipes for gloves and rings, which is a second call on every Sunmote a crafter loots.

This is a pre-order. Sunwell Plateau, the Isle of Quel'Danas and heroic Magisters' Terrace arrive with Phase 4, Fury of the Sunwell, in autumn 2026, and Blizzard has not announced a date. You book at today's price now and the farm starts the moment the phase goes live on the Anniversary realms.

What the price covers: the Sunmotes themselves, at $62.99 each, up to $629.90 for ten. Written guidance on which Yrma trade fits your slot and spec comes with the farm at no extra cost, but the exchange itself stays in your hands - it is not sold as a separate paid step and there is no option for it above. If the encounters rather than the material are what you need, the M'uru kill and the Kalecgos, Brutallus and Felmyst kill cover those bosses one at a time, and the heroic Magisters' Terrace run is where the trash-rate Sunmotes come from. US realms load first in the region switch above; EU runs on the same ladder.

Frequently asked questions

  • A Sunmote is the Sunwell Plateau upgrade material. It drops at a high rate from the six Sunwell Plateau bosses and at a small rate from Sunwell Plateau and Magisters' Terrace trash. It has two uses: trading it to Yrma on the Isle of Quel'Danas for an alternate-stat version of a Sunwell item, and unlocking the 375-skill epic gloves and ring recipes for Blacksmithing, Jewelcrafting, Leatherworking and Tailoring. This page sells Sunmotes at $62.99 each.

  • Yrma, "Transmuter of Sin'dorei Relics", stands on the boat next to the Isle of Quel'Danas flight master and takes 1 Sunmote plus a specific Sunwell Plateau drop in exchange for the alternate-stat item in the same slot. Shadowed Gauntlets of Paroxysm from M'uru become Gloves of the Forest Drifter, and Leggings of the Immortal Night from Felmyst become Leggings of the Immortal Beast. Every Sunmote farm order comes with written guidance on which swap suits your spec.

  • No. The Sunmote farm delivers the Sunmotes on your character at $62.99 each, and we include free written guidance naming the exact Yrma exchange that fits your slot and spec. Handing the Sunmote and the Sunwell item over to Yrma on the Isle of Quel'Danas is yours to do, which is why there is no paid option for it in the order form and no separate charge for the trade.

  • A handful per reset, not a stack. Sunwell Plateau is a 25-man raid on a 7-day lockout, so one character gets one pass at the boss drops each week, topped up by the small trash rate in Sunwell Plateau and Magisters' Terrace. That weekly ceiling is why the counter on this page runs 1 to 10 Sunmotes at $62.99 each, up to $629.90, rather than selling an open-ended stack.

  • No. Sunmotes arrive with Phase 4, Fury of the Sunwell, which brings Sunwell Plateau, the Isle of Quel'Danas and heroic Magisters' Terrace. Blizzard has committed only to autumn 2026 and has not announced a date. This Sunmote farm is a pre-order: you lock the $62.99 per Sunmote price now, and farming begins as soon as Phase 4 goes live on the Anniversary realms.

  • Sunmotes unlock the 375-skill epic recipes for gloves and rings in Blacksmithing, Jewelcrafting, Leatherworking and Tailoring. That puts crafters in direct competition with raiders for the same drop, because a Sunmote spent on a recipe is a Sunmote not spent on an Yrma exchange. Ordering extra Sunmotes at $62.99 each is the way to cover both uses inside one Sunwell Plateau lockout.

  • All of them. Sunmote farming runs on every US TBC Anniversary realm, PvE and PvP, Alliance and Horde, with USD pricing shown first and US support hours behind the order. Runs are booked around your own weekly Sunwell Plateau reset in ET or PT. Playing on an EU realm instead? Flip the region switch above and the EU ladder loads at the same $62.99 per Sunmote.
