The Violet Eye reputation runs $9.89 to Friendly and $120.59 to Exalted. This is the Karazhan faction, and every point of it is earned inside the tower or on the Violet Eye quests at its gates — no Outland daily, no turn-in item, no shortcut anywhere else on the map.

The rep math:

  • a Karazhan boss pays 250 rep, and Prince Malchezaar pays 500;
  • trash pulls give 15 to 30 rep each, which is what puts a full clear near 9,900 rep;
  • Neutral to Exalted is 42,000 rep — 3,000 to Friendly, 6,000 more to Honored, 12,000 more to Revered, then 21,000 more to Exalted.

Why this is booked in weeks, not hours. Karazhan is a 10-man raid on a 7-day lockout, and a character gets exactly one pass at that 9,900 rep per reset. Exalted lands at roughly 4 to 6 full clears once the in-raid Violet Eye quests are counted, so the Exalted tier is a multi-week service spanning 4 to 6 raid lockouts, not a same-day delivery. Friendly is usually done inside the first reset. Karazhan itself is walk-in on the Anniversary realms, so nothing has to be unlocked before the first run.

The reward line is the Violet Signet. Archmage Leryda stands outside the Karazhan gates in Deadwind Pass and offers one ring quest per role at Friendly, then a stronger version of the same ring at Honored, Revered and Exalted. The end of each path is Violet Signet of the Master Assassin for melee, Violet Signet of the Archmage for casters, Violet Signet of the Great Protector for tanks and Violet Signet of the Grand Restorer for healers. The vendors: Apprentice Darius, by the meeting stone at the raid entrance, sells from Honored — Design: The Frozen Eye, Recipe: Flask of Chromatic Wonder and the Inscription of Endurance shoulder enchant, then Pattern: Shadowprowler's Chestguard plus the Mysterious Arrow and Mysterious Shell at Revered, and Formula: Enchant Weapon - Greater Agility at Exalted. Koren, the blacksmith just past Attumen the Huntsman, repairs and sells the Iceguard plans once you are Honored. US realms load first in the region switch above; EU runs the same ladder.
