Sources: the official @BrawlStars announcement on X and its trailer video (posted October 29, 08:03 UTC), plus BrawlQR's Brawl-O-Ween hub for the Find Gus chest context. Daily goals aren't published in advance, so this page covers the rules and the confirmed reward pool.
The Last Coffin is the fourth and final phase of Brawl-O-Ween 2026. It follows Creator Coffins, which wraps up today, and it closes the Gus mystery that started with Find Gus on October 1. The setup is simple: the whole player base gets one community goal per day, and each goal reached digs through another layer of a single coffin. The twist that matters: if the community misses a goal, that day's reward is gone for everyone.
Quick answer (TLDR): The Last Coffin runs from October 30 to November 3, 2026, ending at 08:00 UTC. Every day there's a new community goal. Hit it within 24 hours and everyone gets that day's reward and a new layer of the coffin opens. Miss it and nobody gets the reward, but the event still moves on. Rewards "can include Chaos Drops, resources, Coffin Boxes, a random Buffie, a Hypercharge or 30 Gems!" (Supercell). One day's reward is a random pick between 30 Gems, a random Buffie or a random Hypercharge, with fallbacks if you already own the result. The coffin also holds a key for the #FindGus event and the final animation of the Brawl-O-Ween story. Supercell warns the goals "will be tough", so play your matches.

What is The Last Coffin in Brawl Stars?
The Last Coffin is a five-day community event that ends Brawl-O-Ween's four-phase story. In the trailer, Supercell's host explains the core loop in one line: "Every day you have to complete a different goal to open a new layer of the coffin."
Unlike Scary Coffins, there's no vote and no prediction game. Unlike Creator Coffins, there are no separate creator teams. It's back to one global meter for every player.
Here's how it fits into the Halloween season:
| Phase | Dates (2026) | How it worked | Status on Oct 29 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Find Gus | Oct 1–12 | Solve 6 Mortuary rooms, 1 Chaos Drop each | Ended |
| Scary Coffins | Oct 15–26 | Community voted to open 12 of 24 coffins | Ended |
| Creator Coffins | Oct 26–29 | Pick a creator code, unlock team tiers | Final day |
| The Last Coffin | Oct 30 – Nov 3 | One community goal per day, one coffin layer per goal | Starts tomorrow |
Season 55 itself keeps going after that. Brawl-O-Ween's season and its Brawl Pass run until November 5, 2026 at 08:00 UTC, when Season 56 begins. So The Last Coffin ends two days before the season does.
When does The Last Coffin start and end?
Supercell's post gives the window directly: "#TheLastCoffin event starts on OCTOBER 30 and ends on November 3 (at 8am UTC)."
What that means in practice:
- Start: October 30, 2026. Supercell didn't give a start hour. Brawl Stars events and daily tasks normally roll over at 08:00 UTC, which is the same reset Creator Coffins used.
- End: November 3, 2026 at 08:00 UTC (3:00 AM EST, 9:00 AM CET, 11:00 AM MSK).
- Goal window: each goal gets 24 hours. If the event opens at the usual 08:00 UTC reset, that's about four daily goals before the end time.
If you're used to playing in the evening in the US, keep in mind that the final day's window closes early Tuesday morning your time.
How do the daily community goals work?
Every day the event screen shows one task for the whole community. Every eligible match you play adds to a shared meter. When the meter is full, a layer of dirt over the coffin is cleared and that day's reward unlocks for everyone.
The three rules from the announcement:
- One goal per day. The task changes daily. The trailer says the goal "can vary", so don't expect five days of the same objective.
- A reward for every goal reached. The trailer describes the range as going from "something okay-ish to something really good".
- 24 hours or nothing. Supercell: "If the goal is not achieved in 24h, the reward won't be given but the community still progresses in the event!" A miss doesn't lock you out of later days. You only lose that one reward.
The preview footage shows a vertical meter filling toward a 10M target, with the bar at 1.3M early on and 8.4M later. Treat those numbers as illustration, not the real goals. Supercell hasn't published the daily targets, and it said outright that "These goals will be tough".
That warning carries more weight than usual. Scary Coffins needed 100 million quests a day from the community. The Last Coffin is the finale, and Supercell is telling players to "share the event with your friends to make it easier". A missed day is a real possibility.
What rewards can you get from The Last Coffin?
Supercell's confirmed list is short: "Rewards can include Chaos Drops, resources, Coffin Boxes, a random Buffie, a Hypercharge or 30 Gems! (or their fallbacks)"
Here's what each of those means for your account, using the official drop tables we've already verified this season:
| Reward | What you actually get | Worth it? |
|---|---|---|
| Chaos Drop | Rarity Super Rare 52% / Epic 28% / Mythic 12% / Legendary 6% / Ultra 2%, and it can split into up to 8 rewards (avg 1.58 per drop) — see our Chaos Drop odds guide | Good |
| Resources | Coins, Power Points, Credits or similar. The trailer shows a 200 Coins card as the "okay-ish" end | Low |
| Coffin Box | 10 rewards per box, at least 1 premium pull guaranteed (official Supercell Support) | Good |
| Random Buffie | One random Buffie from the Claw Machine pool — see the Buffies tier list | Very good |
| Random Hypercharge | A Hypercharge for a random eligible Brawler | Very good |
| 30 Gems | 30 premium currency | Very good for F2P |
The 30 Gems / Buffie / Hypercharge day
One day is special. According to the trailer, the reward that day "is a random reward between 30 gems, a random Buffie or a random Hypercharge". So you don't pick which one you get. The card rolls one of the three.
The reward card in the preview reads "Tap to open!" with a footnote: "or their fallbacks". If the roll lands on something you can't receive, for example a Hypercharge when you already own every Hypercharge you're eligible for, you get a fallback reward instead. Supercell hasn't said what the fallback is. In other Brawl Stars drops, fallbacks are usually Coins, Bling or Credits.
We don't know yet which day carries this reward. Play every day so you don't miss it.
What is in a Coffin Box?
Coffin Boxes are the Brawl-O-Ween reward box. Supercell Support: "Each Coffin Box has 10 rewards. You're guaranteed at least one premium reward per Coffin Box."
Most of the 10 pulls are small: 50 Coins and 50 Power Points (15.88% each), XP Doublers (13.05%) and Bling. The premium pool includes Brawl-O-Ween skins (0.61% per draw), 1,000 Coins, 1,000 Power Points, 10 Gems, a Buffie and a Hypercharge. The guarantee is what makes a free Coffin Box a decent reward.
What does the Find Gus key open?
The coffin hides "a key that can be used in the #FindGus event", according to Supercell. The trailer shows a golden skull key buried in one of the layers.
Supercell hasn't said exactly which lock it opens. The obvious candidate is the chest behind the right door of the Entrance room, the first Find Gus room from October 1. That chest has stayed locked all month. Scary Coffins didn't provide a key for it, and BrawlQR notes it "still has no key, even after the last room". BrawlQR also calls the link "most likely" but "not confirmed yet", and we agree. Check the Entrance once the key drops.
Find Gus itself ended on October 12. Its tab sat at the bottom-left of the home screen, and Supercell's wording implies that screen will be usable again once you have the key.

Does The Last Coffin end the Brawl-O-Ween story?
Yes. Supercell says the event includes "a final animation to wrap the #Brawloween mystery". In the trailer the host calls it "the closure animation for the event".
The storyline has been building since Find Gus: Gus went missing in Mortis' Mortuary, players searched six rooms, and then opened coffins across three community events. The last layer of this coffin is where that story ends. If you've followed it all month, this is the payoff.
How can you help the community hit each goal?
You can't do much alone against a target in the millions, but a few habits make your matches count:
- Read the day's task before you queue. The objective changes daily. If the goal is something like damage or Supers used, pick Brawlers who rack it up fast. If it's matches played, short modes like Knockout or Showdown are fine.
- Play early in the window. The meter is easier to judge mid-day. If it looks behind, that's the day to put in extra games.
- Play every day. Missed days only cost that day's reward, but you don't know which day holds the 30 Gems / Buffie / Hypercharge roll.
- Claim on the event screen. Per BrawlQR, Creator Coffins rewards are claimed on the event screen the next day, so its Day 4 rewards arrive on October 30. Expect the same flow here: check the event screen after each reset.
- Ignore "free rewards" sites. The Last Coffin needs no code and no login outside the game. Anyone asking for your Supercell ID to "unlock" a coffin reward is running a scam.
Daily wins still pay out alongside the event. The sixth daily win each day always includes a Chaos Drop, so a full day of play covers both.
What comes after The Last Coffin?
Three dates to keep in mind:
- November 3, 08:00 UTC: The Last Coffin ends.
- November 5, 08:00 UTC: Season 55 and its Brawl Pass end, and Season 56 starts. Finish your pass tiers before then.
- The next Brawl Talk: not announced yet. Creators and fan sites expect Saturday, October 31, but Supercell hasn't confirmed it. Our next Brawl Talk tracker has the full reasoning.
