Brawl Stars Vince Box: Drop Chances, 2 Free Boxes & How to Unlock Vince Free

Sam Okonkwo

Brawl Stars Vince New Brawler Event screen showing Unlock chance in each box, Guaranteed unlock at 14, 12 tickets left and the Mythic Damage Dealer Vince

Last checked: October 19, 2026, 20:00 UTC (Vince Event day 1). Sources: the in-game New Brawler Event screens, the Brawl Stars Wiki Brawler Boxes drop table, the New Brawler Event page and live win rates from Brawl Time Ninja.

The community opened coffin #10 in Scary Coffins this morning, and that started the Vince Event early. Every account got 2 free Vince Boxes, and r/Brawlstars is now full of "first box, got Vince" screenshots and "good luck getting Vince" replies. Here's what's actually inside a Vince Box, how likely you are to pull Vince early, and how many wins you need to get him guaranteed before the event closes.

Quick answer (TLDR): The Vince Event runs October 19–29, 2026. You get 12 tickets on day 1 plus 2 per daily refill (about 30 total), every 2 wins = 1 Vince Box, and box 14 always unlocks Vince, as the in-game screen says ("Guaranteed unlock at 14!"). Each box holds 8 drops, and each drop has a 0.33% (3 in 910) chance to be Vince. That works out to about 2.6% per box, ~5.1% across the 2 free boxes, and ~29% to pull him before the guarantee. The 2 free boxes are in the Shop's Halloween section. After the 2 free boxes you still need 24 wins from roughly 30 tickets. Miss it and Vince joins the Mythic pool in Brawler Blast (a 1,900-Credit Mythic unlock is random, so only 349 Gems or 2 Brawler Keys buy him directly).

What is a Vince Box in Brawl Stars?

A Brawl Stars Vince Box on the opening screen with the Tap! Tap! prompt

A Vince Box is the Brawler Box for Vince's release event. Brawler Boxes have shipped with every new Brawler since the New Brawler Event system replaced the old release format in September 2025. Every new Brawler gets a named box with its own skin pool: there were Cosmo Boxes in September, Wendy Boxes in August, and now Vince Boxes. Per the Brawl Stars Wiki, every Brawler Box contains 8 drops. The number of boxes it takes to unlock the Brawler depends on rarity:

New Brawler rarityBoxes for the guaranteed unlockWins needed (2 per box)
Epic1224
Mythic (Vince)1428
Legendary / Ultra Legendary2040

Vince is a Mythic Damage Dealer, as his event screen shows, so his number is 14. If you want the full kit breakdown (coffee-mug attack, caterpillars that turn into moths, his gadgets and Star Powers), read our Vince guide. This article is only about the boxes.

How do you get the 2 free Vince Boxes?

The 2 free boxes come from Scary Coffins, the Brawl-O-Ween community vote. Coffin #10 (caterpillars and moths on the lid) opened on October 19, 2026, and its reward was "Vince Event early + 2 Vince Boxes" for every player. Our Scary Coffins guide tracks the other coffins.

To claim them:

  • Open the Shop.
  • Find the Halloween / #ScaryCoffins offers at the top. Opened coffin rewards show up there marked Free.
  • Claim and open both boxes. They count toward your 14 right away.
  • Don't see them? Wait a bit or restart the game. BrawlQR notes some players only saw the boxes after a short wait or a restart.

There is no code, QR link or "Vince Box generator." Vince Boxes only exist in-game. Any site that asks for your Supercell ID in exchange for "free Vince" or free gems is a scam. The only legitimate free gem sources are covered in our free gems guide.

What are the Vince Box drop chances?

These are the per-drop odds from the Brawl Stars Wiki's Vince Box table (weights out of 910). They match the in-game chart that creator account CLB posted on launch day. Every one of the 8 drops in a box rolls on this table.

Notice what this table is: about a third of all drops (33%) are a 30–70 Coin pile, Coins of any size are ~38%, and roughly another quarter is Power Points or XP Doublers. The box isn't trying to give you Vince. It's a resource drip with a guarantee at the end. If you already own a cosmetic, the wiki's fallback table converts it to Bling: 100 per Pin, 75 per Spray, 50 per Profile Icon, and 750–1,000 Bling per duplicate skin depending on tier.

One skin note: a few early guides list the 30–79 Gem skins as "Rare." In the wiki's table they sit in the Super Rare price band (30–79 Gems) and fall back to 750 Bling if you already own them.

What are your real odds of pulling Vince early?

A 0.33% chance per drop looks tiny, but each box rolls it 8 times. Here's the math (1 − (907/910)^drops):

Boxes openedDrops rolledChance Vince has dropped
1 box8~2.6%
2 free boxes16~5.1%
5 boxes40~12.4%
10 boxes80~23.2%
13 boxes (one short of the guarantee)104~29.1%
14 boxes—100% (guaranteed)

So roughly 1 player in 20 got Vince from the free boxes alone, and that's why the subreddit is split. As u/V3ctil put it on r/Brawlstars: "This is my first vince box and i litteraly just pulled him. Ive asked other people who said theyre also getting vince after 2-4 boxes. Is the game just generous to me for once or did they increase the brawler odds?" The odds weren't buffed. The Vince Box table is identical to the Cosmo Box table from September (same 3-in-910 Brawler weight). With millions of players opening 2 boxes each, a 5% outcome produces a lot of screenshots. Plan for the 14-box guarantee and treat an early pull as a bonus.

How many wins do you need to unlock Vince for free?

Brawl Stars Special Events tab with the Vince New Brawler Event tile showing 12 tickets left and 2 wins to unlock a Brawler Box

Here's the math for Vince's event, which per the wiki's New Brawler Event log started October 19 and ends October 29, 2026:

  • Tickets: 12 on day 1, then +2 at each daily refill. The day-1 screen showed the first refill in 23h 57m and the event ending in 9d 23h, so you get 9 refills → about 30 tickets total (the wiki lists 32, which only holds if a 10th refill lands before the close).
  • One ticket = one match. Every 2 wins (they don't need to be in a row) = 1 Vince Box.
  • Boxes needed: 14 − 2 free = 12 more boxes = 24 wins.
  • Margin: 30 tickets − 24 wins = 6 losses allowed. That's an 80% win rate across every ticket you get.

That's a tight target, though easier than Cosmo's September event, which gave 30 tickets and no free boxes, so it took 28 wins. Three rules make it realistic:

  • Play your tickets every day. BrawlMetrics reports that event tickets don't stack between daily refills, so a skipped day can cost you tickets outright.
  • Play with a premade team. The mode is blind pick (like Mega Pig): modes and maps are random, and you pick without seeing the enemy team. A voice-chat trio beats three randoms all spamming Vince.
  • If you end up a box or two short, extra tickets and boxes are sold for Gems in the Shop's Vince tab. In the wiki's capture of the shop, a Brawler Box "Small Pack 1/3" was listed at 59 Gems (21% off 75), and creators report individual tickets at around 38 Gems. Buying the last 1–2 boxes is far cheaper than buying Vince outright (349 Gems after the event).

What if you pull Vince early? You keep opening boxes for the rest of the rewards. Per the wiki's fallback table, a Brawler drop you already own converts to 1,000 Credits for a Mythic, which is why CLB's chart lists the Vince slot as "Vince (1000 Credits)." Supercell hasn't stated in-game what box 14 pays if you already own Vince, so don't count on a specific bonus there.

Which Brawlers should you play in the Vince Event?

The Vince Event pulls from Gem Grab, Bounty and Brawl Ball, per the wiki's event log, and you can either use Vince maxed or your own Brawlers, as the event's info screen says. On day 1, playing Vince is mostly a learning exercise: everyone else is learning him too, and his moth-stacking Super needs time to ramp up. You're playing for wins, not practice. Bring your strongest maxed pick.

Live adjusted win rates from Brawl Time Ninja (51.7M battles, updated October 19, 2026) put these at the top right now:

RankBrawlerAdjusted win rateWhy they work in blind pick
1Cosmo77.2%Super marks one enemy so the whole team's shots home in on it, good in all three modes
2Bolt73.2%Flexible damage, hard to counter-pick blind
3Ollie72.7%Tanky engage that wins Brawl Ball pushes
4Wendy72.3%Team-wide shielding stabilizes Gem Grab holds
5Trunk71.4%Strong frontline when you can't see enemy picks
6Juju71.2%Zone control that suits Gem Grab and Bounty
7Damian71.2%Reliable all-rounder
8Rosa71.1%Bush-heavy maps, tanky brawl pick
9Draco71.0%Brawl Ball and close-range lanes
10Sam70.8%High-mobility brawler for aggressive trios

On the same tracker's most-recorded winning trios, Brock + Gus + Piper leads (6.7k wins) and Cosmo + Nori + Wendy is second (4.5k). If your club owns either, it's a great comp to queue into a blind-pick event. Brawl Time Ninja samples its own (above-average) users, so treat these as relative strength, not guaranteed win rates. For mode-specific picks, use our October guides for Gem Grab, Bounty and Brawl Ball, plus the full October tier list.

Should you buy Vince or Vince Boxes with money?

Brawl Stars Shop Vince tab with Vince is here offers and a Brawler Box small pack for 59 Gems

The Shop has a dedicated Vince tab during the event with two paid "Vince is here!!" offers. One is Vince alone. The bigger one bundles Vince with both Star Powers and both Gadgets, and in the wiki's capture it showed a 64% discount label. Prices are regional, so we won't quote a dollar figure. Our recommendation:

  • Free-to-play: don't spend. 2 free boxes + 24 wins is doable with a team who play every day.
  • Light spender, one or two boxes short on October 28–29: Gem-bought tickets or a small box pack is the most efficient spend in the event.
  • You want Vince maxed on day 1 for Ranked: the bundle with Gadgets and Star Powers is better value than the Brawler-only offer. Just remember that new Brawlers usually get balance changes within weeks.

What happens if you miss the Vince Event?

Nothing is lost permanently. After the event (it ends October 29, 2026), Vince joins the Mythic pool of Brawler Blast, the Credits-based unlock system that replaced Starr Road. Supercell hasn't announced the exact day (some guides expect November), so check the in-game News. One catch: per the Brawl Stars Wiki, a 1,900-Credit Mythic unlock is a random draw from your unowned Mythics (you sometimes get a choice between 2–4), and Credits go to rarities in a fixed order. Only 349 Gems or 2 Brawler Keys unlock Vince directly. That's the real reason to finish the 14 boxes now. Keep an eye on the remaining Scary Coffins too: the event runs until October 26, and several unopened coffins still hold Credits and Chaos Drops that can speed up the Brawler Blast route.

FAQ

Are Vince Boxes free in Brawl Stars? Yes. Every player got 2 free Vince Boxes in the Shop's Halloween section when the community opened Scary Coffin #10 on October 19, 2026. More boxes come free from the Vince Event (1 box per 2 wins). Extra boxes and tickets can also be bought with Gems.

What is the chance to get Vince from a Vince Box? Each of the 8 drops in a box has a 0.33% (3 in 910) chance to be Vince, which works out to about 2.6% per box and about 5.1% across the 2 free boxes. The odds weren't increased; they match the Cosmo Box exactly.

How many Vince Boxes do you need to unlock Vince? 14. The event screen says "Guaranteed unlock at 14!" Vince is Mythic, and Mythic Brawlers unlock at 14 boxes (Epic at 12, Legendary and Ultra Legendary at 20).

How long is the Vince Event? From October 19 to October 29, 2026. You get 12 tickets on day 1 and 2 more at each daily refill, about 30 in total if you log in every day.

What happens if I get Vince before box 14? You keep opening the remaining boxes for resources and cosmetics. A Vince drop on an account that already owns him converts to 1,000 Credits, per the wiki's fallback table.

Is there a Vince Box code or QR link? No. Vince Boxes and the Vince Event are only in-game. Sites offering a "free Vince Box" code or generator are scams, so never give them your Supercell ID.

Accurate as of October 19, 2026 (Vince Event day 1). Drop chances can change if Supercell updates the box, so we'll re-check the table during the event.
