Dress to Impress Themes (October 2026) — Full List of All DTI Themes

Dress to Impress gives you a theme at the start of every round, and you have six minutes to build an outfit that fits it before the runway vote. This page lists every Dress to Impress theme we could verify. It covers how themes are picked, which ones were event-only or removed, and what the trickiest ones actually mean. It applies to the Halloween 2026 update ("The Night of Scream Queens"), which went live on October 17, 2026.

Quick answer (checked October 21, 2026): The community Dress To Impress Wiki lists 781 unique themes. 505 of them also appear on an independent tracker (Roblox Den or Bloxism), and the other 276 are newer, seasonal or collab themes that only the wiki has caught so far. Themes are random each round unless someone uses a Theme Prop (75 Robux, or free from the Baddie Pass) to pick or write a custom one. Theme voting was removed on May 9, 2026.

How do themes work in Dress to Impress?

Dress To Impress describes itself in its official Roblox listing as a game where you "Create stunning outfits 👗💖⭐, and strut the runway to show off your unique style." The theme is what everyone is judged against. According to the Dress To Impress Wiki, every round works like this:

  • Theme reveal. Near the end of the lobby intermission, the next round's theme appears at the top of the screen.
  • Dressing room. You get 360 seconds (6 minutes) and can wear up to 18 items at once, or 24 with the Increased Item Limit game pass.
  • Runway. Everyone walks, then votes each look from 1 to 5 stars. The top three go on the podium and earn the most stars and cash.

The runway itself changes to fit the theme. The wiki's Runway page says runway variants are "automatically selected based on the round Theme".

As of our Roblox Games API pull on October 21, 2026 (08:07 UTC), Dress To Impress had 47,414 players online, 11.2 billion visits and 7.64 million favorites. The game was last updated that same day. That count was taken in the quiet early-morning hours in the US. Our same-hour pull on launch weekend (October 18) showed 139,597 players.

How many themes are in Dress to Impress?

The answer depends on who you ask, which is why most theme lists online disagree:

The developers don't publish an official master list, so we cross-checked the wiki's list against the two independent trackers. 505 themes appear on the wiki and on at least one tracker. We list those first. The other 276 appear only on the wiki. Many of them are recent: the May 30, 2026 update alone added 37 new themes, according to the wiki's 2026 update log, and the KATSEYE collab on April 18, 2026 added its own set. The trackers haven't added them yet. The in-game voting screens back this up: Favorite Show/Movie and Dystopia both appear in the screenshots on this page, but neither is on either tracker.

Can you choose the theme in Dress to Impress?

Yes, but only by paying for it or earning it:

  • Theme Props are a developer product that costs 75 Robux. You can also earn them free by leveling up the Baddie Pass. A Theme Prop lets you choose the next round's theme, either from the list or as a custom theme you type yourself. It also lets you pick which runway style the round uses.
  • Custom themes can be reported. If someone types something inappropriate, the "Report Custom Theme" button flags it.
  • Theme voting is gone. Earlier collab events showed a "Vote for the next theme!" screen with four options. The wiki's update log records "Removed Theme Voting" in the May 9, 2026 post-KATSEYE update. The screenshots on this page show that old voting screen, not what you see today.

If nobody uses a Theme Prop, the theme is random. No tool or trick can predict it.

Dress To Impress theme voting screen from the Brat collab with Dystopia, Ghosts vs Ghouls, Monster High School and PARTYGIRL

Which themes were event-only or removed?

Event-only themes. According to the wiki's Themes page:

ThemeWhere it appeared
MERMAIDS!Summer 2025 update only
Garden of EdenStarted as a DTI x Lady Gaga collab exclusive, then joined the regular pool
Bubble GaloreDTI x Wicked: For Good exclusive
Defying GravityDTI x Wicked: For Good exclusive

Collab voting screens also showed themes that aren't on any list, such as M.I.A (KATSEYE collab) and PARTYGIRL (Brat collab). They appear to have been collab-only.

Removed themes. The developers have pulled some themes for good. The wiki gives two examples. "Nail tech" went because players just dressed up as Lana, so the outfits "lacked originality". "I would never wear this" was removed after players used it to mock other cultures with stereotypical outfits. Neither will come up in a normal round again, though anyone can still type something similar as a custom theme.

What do the trickiest DTI themes mean?

Some themes are a single word that new players misread. These are the wiki's own definitions for the ones that cause the most confusion:

ThemeWhat it actually asks for
Abracadabra"The Category is: RED OR WHITE! Which side will become victorious?" Pick a side and dress in it.
AcubiTrendy Korean street style with a modern twist
ApplecoreRed or green pastels paired with whites, in knitted or plaid looks
BackroomsEerie, liminal looks that feel "lost in time"
MonochromeDress ONLY in one color
Old MoneyClassic, preppy looks with a rich vibe
Corporate GothA sleek office outfit with dark, gothic elegance
Avant-gardeUnique, artistic fashion that stands out

The fastest way to score well is to read the theme literally first. Voters reward a look they understand in the two seconds you're on the runway. Use the full six minutes, and fill as many of your 18 item slots as the look needs.

Which spooky themes can you get during Halloween 2026?

The Halloween 2026 update, "The Night of Scream Queens", brought a new lobby, dressing room and runway, the Candy Corn seasonal currency, a Ghost Hunting game mode and a Tarot Cards minigame. Apple Bobbing and Trick-or-Treating also returned, per the wiki's Halloween 2026 page. Neither the official update notes nor the wiki say which themes are boosted for the season, so we won't guess. These spooky themes are all in the lists above:

  • Halloween: "Spooky or fun costumes for trick-or-treating."
  • Vampire: "Dark, mysterious outfits with a gothic twist."
  • Corpse Bride: "Hauntingly romantic outfits inspired by a gothic bride from beyond the grave."
  • Ghosts vs Ghouls: "Spooky and fun, like ghosts and monsters."
  • Dark Harvest: "Rural autumn looks with eerie undertones."
  • Masquerade: "Elegant outfits with masks and fancy attire."

Roblox's official event listings show the Halloween event running until November 7, 2026. A separate quest, Tales of the Dark King, opens on October 24, 2026 and runs to November 14. Its listing describes it as "Dress to Impress descends into the Greek underworld." While the season is on, check our Dress to Impress codes page for any free items released with the update.

Do you need VIP for the themes?

No. Every theme can be done with free items, and Theme Props are a separate 75-Robux purchase. The VIP Pass costs 299 Robux a month or 799 Robux permanently, per the wiki. It unlocks the VIP room's exclusive items and VIP servers. It doesn't affect which theme you get. If you're weighing up what that costs in real money, our Robux to USD guide breaks down the conversion.

Need Robux for a Theme Prop or the VIP Pass? timesaver.gg sells Robux and other Roblox items with fast delivery.

How we keep this list current

New themes arrive with most big updates, so we treat this as a live page. We re-check the wiki's Themes page and update log and both trackers whenever Dress To Impress ships a seasonal update, and we move themes from the wiki-only list to the confirmed list once a second source carries them. The theme counts and descriptions here come from the community wiki and trackers, not from the developers, who don't publish a master list. Last checked: October 21, 2026.

FAQ

How many themes are in Dress to Impress? The community wiki lists 781 unique themes as of October 2026 and says there are "over 790". 505 of them are confirmed by a second, independent tracker. Lists showing around 520 themes miss many of the newer themes.

Can you pick your own theme in DTI? Yes. Buy a Theme Prop for 75 Robux, or earn one from the Baddie Pass. You can then choose the next round's theme or type a custom one.

Is theme voting still in Dress to Impress? No. Theme voting was removed in the May 9, 2026 update. Without a Theme Prop, the theme is random.

How long do you get to dress for a theme? Six minutes (360 seconds). You can wear up to 18 items, or 24 with the Increased Item Limit game pass.

Are there Halloween themes in Dress to Impress? Yes. Themes such as Halloween, Vampire, Corpse Bride, Ghosts vs Ghouls, Dark Harvest and Masquerade are in the pool. The Halloween 2026 event runs until November 7, 2026.

Which themes were removed? The wiki names "Nail tech" and "I would never wear this" as removed themes. MERMAIDS!, Bubble Galore and Defying Gravity were limited to one event or collab.

Do you need VIP to win a theme? No. VIP (299 Robux a month or 799 Robux permanently) adds exclusive items and servers, but every theme can be done with free items.
