What is Corrupt in MM2?
Corrupt is a Unique-rarity knife in Roblox Murder Mystery 2. Unique is MM2's top weapon tier, one step above Ancient. It looks like a plain hunting knife with a golden blade, faint vintage engravings near the heel, a silver guard and a greyish-black handle.
That shape isn't an accident. According to the MM2 Wiki's Corrupt page, it is "the only weapon with a rarity above Legendary that has the same mesh as the Default Knife." In other words, it's the starter knife, reskinned in gold, and it became the most famous trophy in the game.
Three facts make Corrupt different from every other Unique:
- It was the first Unique ever. The tier was originally called "Reward" before it was renamed "Unique."

That's 675 → 315, a 53% drop on MM2 Values. Supreme is lower still and falling too: its 7-day chart slopes down through October 13–20, and its latest change was −10 (−3.4%), taking Corrupt to 280.
No tracker publishes a reason for the cuts. Here's what the data does show, plus our read on it:
- Demand is low (3/10) on both main lists. That's a measured figure, and it's the clearest pressure on the price.

How did players get Corrupt in MM2?
You can't get Corrupt in-game anymore. Here's the history, from the MM2 Wiki's Data Loss Glitch (2014)) and Duping Glitch (2017)) pages:
- December 29, 2014: a code error in MM2's scripts wiped the items and recent data of approximately 50 players.
- After fixing it, Nikilis gifted those players a new, extremely rare knife as an apology. The wiki notes the name "Corrupt" most likely refers to their data being corrupted.
- 2015 to 2017: Corrupt was the second rarest knife in the game, behind only Nik's Scythe. The wiki says, with an "allegedly," that only around 63 players owned one.
- Late 2017: the Duping Glitch let players copy items using alt accounts. The wiki is blunt: "Corrupt was the main target for dupers."
That screenshot shows what happened. One duped inventory held 66 Corrupts, more than the alleged number of legitimate owners before the glitch. Today, according to the wiki, "there are thousands of copies of it in the game." Nikilis temporarily shut trading down and banned dupers. The wiki also reports a cap from that cleanup: owning more than 20 Corrupts resulted in a ban on rejoining. Some trading sites now say the cap no longer applies, and there's no current developer statement either way, so treat it as unconfirmed rather than ignore it.
So the only way to get Corrupt now is to trade for it in MM2's own trade window, with items worth about 270–315 in total. There's no code for Corrupt, and any "free Corrupt" giveaway asking you to send items first is a scam.

What is the Corrupt Set worth?
The Corrupt Set is Corrupt + Luger. Luger is a gold-coloured Godly gun from Gun Box 1, and its golden finish is why the two are paired.

Luger adds very little. It's a low-value Godly that can still be unboxed from Gun Box 1, so almost all of the set's value is the knife. Don't pay a "set premium" for Luger. It's historically rare, not rare by supply. About 50 players received it in 2014, and only an alleged ~63 owned it before 2017. Then duping created thousands of copies. Supreme rates its rarity 3, and MM2 Values gives it 3.0. That's far from the leaderboard Uniques, which can't be traded at all: MM2 Values lists the Gold versions (Gold Harvester, Gold Candy and others) at 100,000,000 or more, a number that only reflects that you can't buy one.

- "Send it first, I'll add after." Never hand over items before the other side commits. Use MM2's own trade window, where both sides lock in at the same time.
