FC 27 Ultimate Scream Team 2 is expected on Friday 30 October at 18:00 UK time. Because UK clocks went back on 25 October, that's 18:00 UTC: an hour later than Team 1 in UTC and US time, or 2pm ET and 11am PT. EA hasn't confirmed the squad. Every leak agrees on the same 16 names, led by Michael Olise, Lionel Messi and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, plus Heroes David Ginola, Simone Laudehr and Ricardo Quaresma. The two leak versions match on only 1 of those 16 positions, though, so don't build a team around a leaked position until the cards are live.
EA SPORTS FC 27's Ultimate Scream promo opened on Friday 23 October. EA's Ultimate Scream article describes it as "the two terrifying weeks of Ultimate Scream" and confirms a Beaver Moon upgrade for every Ultimate Scream card from 24 November. We pulled the Team 1 release timestamps from fut.gg and compared every Team 2 leak we could find. Below is the release time in your zone, the squad, what the leaks get wrong, and how to handle your coins up to the Beaver Moon.
TLDR: FC 27 Ultimate Scream Team 2 in 30 seconds. When: Friday 30 October, 18:00 UK / 18:00 UTC / 19:00 CET / 2pm ET / 11am PT. That's an hour later than Team 1 in UTC and US time, because UK and EU clocks changed on 25 October and US clocks don't change until 1 November. Who (leaked, not EA): Olise, Messi, Kvaratskhelia, Valverde, McTominay, Cunha, Perišić, Jónsdóttir, Ryerson, Amoura, Ciss, Crnogorčević, Laura Pérez, plus Heroes Ginola, Laudehr and Quaresma. Catch: two leak versions match on ratings for 9 of 16 players and on positions for only 1. How long: about a week in packs, so roughly to 6 November (FC 26 precedent). Dates that matter for coins: the Token Store closes 13 November, 17:59 UTC. The Beaver Moon gives every Ultimate Scream card one face stat at 99 and full in-position Chemistry for a week from 24 November (EA).

What time does FC 27 Ultimate Scream Team 2 release?
EA doesn't publish promo release times in advance. FC 27's Ultimate Team content has followed UK time all season, though, and fut.gg's item timestamps show the shift:
- Team 1 cards (Raphinha, Cristiano Ronaldo and the rest) were created at 17:00 UTC on Friday 23 October, which was 18:00 in the UK while it was still on BST.
- Emre Mor's Ultimate Scream SBC appeared at 17:00 UTC on 24 October.
- Héctor Bellerín's Ultimate Scream SBC appeared at 18:00 UTC on Tuesday 27 October, two days after UK clocks went back to GMT.
The drop stays at 18:00 UK, and Central Europe also changed clocks, so it stays at 19:00 there. In UTC, Moscow and US time zones, the same moment is now an hour later. Some countdowns still list 10am PDT and 1pm EDT next to "6pm UTC". Those US times were right last week. This week, 18:00 UTC is 2pm EDT and 11am PDT. US clocks don't change until Sunday 1 November, so this week's gap to the US is an hour shorter than usual:
| Region | Team 1 (23 Oct) | Team 2 (30 Oct, expected) |
|---|---|---|
| UK | 18:00 | 18:00 |
| UTC | 17:00 | 18:00 |
| Central Europe (CEST, then CET) | 19:00 | 19:00 |
| Moscow | 20:00 | 21:00 |
| US Eastern | 1pm | 2pm |
| US Pacific | 10am | 11am |
Team 2 should also replace Team 1 in packs. Destructoid's countdown says it "will replace the first team when it goes live", and that's how FC 26 worked: Team 1 on 24 October 2025, Team 2 on 31 October and packs until 7 November. If FC 27 copies that, Team 2 is in packs until about 6 November. Treat that date as an expectation, not something EA has announced.
Who is in FC 27 Ultimate Scream Team 2?
EA hasn't revealed the squad. The list below is the community leak, and every tracker we checked agrees on these 16 names. That includes RealSport101, IGGM, WhatsGaming, MMOexp, Last Word on Gaming and U7BUY. The "early leak" column is the version most of them published between 23 and 29 October. The "later leak" column is U7BUY's 29 October update.
| Player | Card type | Early leak (23-29 Oct) | Later leak (29 Oct) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Michael Olise | Player | 92 RM | 91 CAM |
| David Ginola | Hero | 90 LM | 90 ST |
| Lionel Messi | Player | 90 CAM | 90 RW |
| Khvicha Kvaratskhelia | Player | 90 LW | 89 ST |
| Simone Laudehr | Hero | 89 CM | 89 RM |
| Federico Valverde | Player | 88 CM | 88 RB |
| Scott McTominay | Player | 87 CM | 88 CDM |
| Ricardo Quaresma | Hero | 87 RW | 87 LW |
| Matheus Cunha | Player | 85 LM | 87 ST |
| Ivan Perišić | Player | 85 LW | 86 CAM |
| Julian Ryerson | Player | 85 RB | 86 RM |
| Sveindís Jane Jónsdóttir | Player | 85 ST | 86 RW |
| Ana-Maria Crnogorčević | Player | 85 RW | 85 RB |
| Laura Pérez | Player | 85 RM | 85 ST |
| Mohamed Amoura | Player | 85 ST | 85 LW |
| Pathé Ciss | Player | 85 CDM | 85 CDM |
The 17th card is where the leaks split. The early version lists Jeppe Tverskov 85 CDM. The later one, which U7BUY calls the "latest card graphic", replaces him with James Garner 86 RB. Tverskov already has an Ultimate Scream card, an 83 CB that costs 50 tokens in the Token Store. That makes the Garner version a little more believable, but EA hasn't confirmed either one.
Why don't the Team 2 leaks agree?
We compared the two versions player by player. All 16 shared names are the same. Ratings match for 9 of the 16. Positions match for 1 of the 16, and that one is Pathé Ciss at CDM in both. Some of the changes would completely change how you use the card:
- Valverde: a CM in one version and an RB in the other. That's a different formation slot, and he only gets full Chemistry in the position he can actually play.
- Kvaratskhelia: a 90 LW or an 89 ST.
- Olise: a 92 RM or a 91 CAM.
- Cunha: an 85 LM or an 87 ST. That's the largest rating gap in the squad, at two points.
Ultimate Scream cards are built around position changes. EA's article calls the promo "unmasking the hidden sides of some of football's biggest names through authentic position changes", so position is the detail a leak most needs to get right. Leaked ratings are close enough for planning. Leaked positions aren't good enough to buy against.
What should you do with your coins before Team 2 drops?
Our view: wait until 18:00 before spending on anything Team 2 affects. Three reasons:
- Formation slots. A card only gets full Chemistry in a position it can play. If you sell your right-back because a leak says Valverde is an RB and he comes out a CM, you have a hole in your back line. Buying a replacement costs coins, and reselling the wrong card loses the 5% EA tax. Wait until you can see the real card.
- Supply at launch. A new promo card has only as many copies on the market as people have packed in the first few minutes. More appear as players open packs over the weekend. Paying launch-hour prices is a choice to pay for speed.
- Team 1 stops packing. Once Team 2 replaces Team 1 in packs, no new tradeable Team 1 copies come out of regular packs. That gives you no reason to rush-sell a Team 1 card you actually use.
Trading habits on Reddit point the same way. Asked how to make coins, u/Enthusiastic-Helper replied on r/fut: "The most basic is fodder: Buying on the weekend, selling midweek." A promo Friday brings a wave of pack openings, so it's a better time to buy than to sell.
Think twice before selling Icons to fund Team 2, too. Players on Reddit report Icon prices rising this season. "Bergkamp for example has gone from 435k a few weeks ago to 650k now. Totti has gone from 1.2m to 1.55m," u/heroscape912 wrote on r/EASportsFC on 28 October. The top reply, from u/DracarysUT, gave the reason: "Low supply and people make a lot of coins through gameplay. Also no good SBCs or Evos, so players rely on the market to upgrade their teams." Those are two players' examples, not a market index, and Icon prices can turn. If the trend holds, though, selling an Icon to chase a Team 2 card on launch night swaps a card that has been rising for one that's at its scarcest and most expensive.

Is Ultimate Scream Team 2 better than Team 1?
On the leaked numbers, the top of Team 2 is a little higher. Team 1's best cards on fut.gg are Raphinha 90 CAM, Cristiano Ronaldo 89 LW, Salma Paralluelo 88 ST and Dominik Szoboszlai 88 RB, followed by Cole Palmer and Fabinho at 87. The leaks put three Team 2 cards at 90 or more (Olise, Ginola and Messi). Kvaratskhelia is either 90 or 89 depending on the version.
The bigger difference is the Heroes. Three of the 16 agreed names are Heroes: Ginola, Laudehr and Quaresma. In FC 27, Heroes get full Chemistry when played in position and add +1 to their League and +1 to their Nation. That's down from a +2 League link last year, but they still fit into most teams without needing a club link.
Team 1 also gave out cheap cards through SBCs. fut.gg's estimated SBC costs when we checked on 29 October were Nick Woltemade 85 at 57,950 coins, Héctor Bellerín 85 at 35,030 and Emre Mor 85 at 27,695. If Team 2 follows the same pattern, an 85-rated SBC card at 30k to 60k will be cheaper than most packed Team 2 cards for the first few days. Check the daily SBCs before buying from the market.
How does the Beaver Moon upgrade change Team 2's value?
This is the one part of Ultimate Scream EA has confirmed in writing:
"Coinciding with the arrival of November's Beaver Full Moon, all Ultimate Scream Player Items will undergo a temporary transformation for one full week, starting November 24, 2026. This limited-time upgrade will boost a single face stat to 99 and reward the player with full in-position Chemistry to make them an instant fit to any squad." (EA SPORTS FC 27, Ultimate Scream article, 23 October 2026)
Three things follow from that:
- It's temporary. One week from 24 November, then the card goes back to normal. Don't value a Team 2 card as if the 99 lasts.
- Full in-position Chemistry is the bigger perk. For that week, any Ultimate Scream card fits any team without links, as long as it plays its own position. That's another reason to wait for the confirmed position on 30 October.
- It probably overlaps Black Friday. FC 26's Black Friday promo launched on 28 November 2025. The FC 27 equivalent Friday is 27 November, three days into the Beaver Moon week. EA hasn't announced it, but a Black Friday promo that week would mean a lot of new cards competing for coins at the same time.
Two dates come first. Team 2 should leave packs around 6 November. The Ultimate Scream Token Store closes on 13 November at 17:59 UTC. EA says it "will remain open for an additional week after Ultimate Scream ends", and fut.gg's feed shows the tokens expire with it. Unspent tokens don't carry over. Our Token Store ranking covers what to buy. In short, El Mala, Le Fée and the Verón Hero are better value than the 900-token Wicked Winger Evo.
What else arrives with Team 2?
EA's article confirms three things for week two:
- Ghoul Fest: "Stick around for Ghoul Fest in the second week of Ultimate Scream, with No Rules meaning offsides and fouls go unpunished." It pays Ultimate Scream Tokens.
- Two Flash Rush events a week, which also pay tokens.
- More Halloween Puzzle SBCs. In week one each Puzzle SBC paid 30 tokens, plus a completion reward.
If you're short of tokens for Verón (900) or Jill Scott (1,500), Ghoul Fest and the week-two Flash Rush events are your last chance to earn them before 13 November. Also check whether your Ultimate Scream cards count for Gallery. EA says that submitting "a Set of five or more players" earns Gallery Tokens. See our Gallery explainer for how Sets work.
No time for the Team 2 grind? Ghoul Fest, two Flash Rush events and the Puzzle SBCs all close well before the Beaver Moon. If you'd rather spend coins than hours, we can help:
- EA FC 27 Coins: budget for a Team 2 card once its real position is confirmed, or the links around it. Comfort Trade, delivered in stages.
- EA FC 27 FUT Champions Boost: Champions and Rivals wins and rank rewards, played by pro players. Those reward packs can contain Team 2 cards.

The 17th card is Tverskov in one version and Garner in the other.

When is the FC 27 Beaver Moon upgrade? It starts on 24 November 2026 and lasts one week. EA says every Ultimate Scream card gets one face stat boosted to 99 and full in-position Chemistry for that week, and then goes back to normal.
Should I sell my Team 1 cards before Team 2? Don't panic-sell cards you use. Team 1 stops appearing in packs when Team 2 arrives, and all Ultimate Scream cards get the Beaver Moon upgrade. Sell Team 1 cards you don't use, and only after you've seen the confirmed Team 2 positions.
