Fortnite's Chapter 7 Season 4 "Override" added a brand-new Admin Panel in the lobby, and it hands out real, Epic-issued freebies: XP, Sprites, Sprite Dust, Gizmos, loading screens, jam tracks and one-off transformations. These are officially called Lobby Hack codes, and unlike the scam "free V-Bucks" sites that clog search results, this is a legitimate feature built into the game.
Quick answer: Open the Admin Panel on the right side of the Chapter 7 Season 4 lobby (with Ranked turned off), type a code into the box, and hit Submit. As of 17 October 2026, 56 codes are live and none have expired. The best ones to grab first: WhoCrackedTheCode and OverrideXP (40,000 XP each), the 5,000 Sprite Dust codes (DustySprites, DustInTheWind, BlinkyInkyPinkyClyde, whereisthedustytree), and the 9YEARS 9th Birthday Sprite before it's gone.
This guide lists every working Admin Panel code, what each one gives you, exactly how to redeem them, and how they differ from the in-match Cheat Codes people keep confusing them with. Everything here is current for Chapter 7 Season 4 and was verified against Epic's own feature and major outlet trackers (Eurogamer, IGN, GamesRadar) on 17 October 2026 — codes rotate, so re-check before you assume one is dead.
Key takeaways
- The Admin Panel is a Chapter 7 Season 4 "Override" lobby feature that accepts Epic-issued Lobby Hack codes for free rewards.
- Rewards are XP, Sprites, Sprite Dust, Gizmos, loading screens, Yeat jam tracks and temporary transformations — never V-Bucks. Any site offering "free V-Bucks codes" is a scam.
- 56 codes are active as of 17 October 2026 and none have expired, but each code works once per account.
- You must have Ranked switched OFF — the Admin Panel button disappears in Ranked mode.
- Season "Override" ends 31 October 2026 — grab the Fortnitemares and 9th-Birthday codes before the season rolls over.
What is the Fortnite Admin Panel?
The Admin Panel is a small box on the right side of the main lobby, added when Chapter 7 Season 4 "Override" launched on 20 August 2026. It fits the season's premise — Geno "overriding" the island with other video games — by letting you punch in codes like an old-school cheat menu.
Interact with it, type a valid code, and you instantly claim a reward. According to Epic's own feature and outlet trackers, the panel dispenses:
- XP (flat 40,000 chunks)
- Sprites — including the season's collectible Cheat Master variants (Sonic, Tails, 8-Bit, Adventure, Jonesy) plus the limited 9th Birthday Sprite
- Sprite Dust — the currency you spend on Loot Hacks to customize your own chest pool
- Gizmos — consumable field items like the Cheat Code Locator, Extraction Accelerator and Portable Extractor
- Loading screens, Yeat jam tracks and a FNCS Back Bling
- Temporary transformations — turn into a toilet, an arcade machine, a pumpkin, a scarecrow or a Tetris block for a laugh
This is the first time Battle Royale has had an in-lobby code box for cosmetic and XP rewards, and it's a big deal for anyone grinding the Override Pass to level 100.
Important: These are not V-Bucks codes. Epic has never distributed V-Bucks through public redeem codes. Admin Panel codes give XP, Sprites and Sprite Dust — the free currency you earn inside the game — and nothing that costs real money. If a website promises free or cheap V-Bucks from a code or generator, it is phishing for your Epic login. Don't use it.
All working Fortnite Admin Panel codes (October 2026)
Here is the full list of 56 active Lobby Hack codes and what each one gives you, verified for 17 October 2026. Codes are not case-sensitive in practice, but type them exactly as shown to be safe. Each code can be redeemed once per account. One handy quirk: if you already own a Sprite a code would grant, you get 10,000 Sprite Dust instead, so the collector codes are never wasted.

Several codes are gated behind Story quests: YourThoughtsAreMine, runSystemOverride and S7H-50P-R03 need Geno's quest progress, ImTheRealEdgelord needs Wrixel's, and GatherAndCraft needs the Story quests done first. If one of those "doesn't work," that's usually why — not a dead code.
As of 17 October 2026, no Admin Panel codes have expired. Epic drips new ones out across its own channels rather than in a single patch, so the list grows week to week — the newest additions are the three Yeat jam tracks, the Fortnitemares batch (DOOR2DOOR4CANDY, VERYSCARYPUMPKIN, PumpkinSpiceLife, CrowsAreAfraid, POWEROUT) and the story codes tied to Geno and Wrixel.
How to redeem Admin Panel codes in Fortnite
Redeeming is quick — the whole thing lives in the lobby, not on a website:
- Launch Fortnite on your platform.
- Select Chapter 7 Season 4 (Battle Royale). Make sure Ranked is turned OFF — the Admin Panel button disappears in Ranked mode, which trips up a lot of players.
- In the lobby, click the prompted admin panel button on the right side of the screen.
- Type the code into the text field.
- Hit Submit. The reward is added to your account instantly.
If a code says it's invalid, check three things: you likely mistyped it (they're long and easy to fumble), you've already redeemed it on this account (each fires only once), or it's a quest-gated code you haven't unlocked yet. If the panel itself is missing, you're almost certainly in Ranked — switch it off in the lobby and it reappears.
Admin Panel codes vs Cheat Codes — don't mix them up
This is the single most common confusion this season, so it's worth being clear. Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 has two different code systems:
- Admin Panel (Lobby Hack) codes — the ones in this guide. Entered in the lobby via the Admin Panel box. They grant XP, Sprites, Sprite Dust, Gizmos and cosmetics.
- Cheat Codes — these appear randomly on walls, floors and surfaces during a match. You input the displayed directional prompts in the correct order to spawn a Sprite on the spot. They're an in-game scavenger mechanic, not something you type in the lobby.
If a guide tells you to "enter directional inputs" in the Admin Panel, it's blending the two. The Admin Panel only takes typed word codes.
What to spend Sprite Dust on
Several of the best codes above pay out in Sprite Dust, so it's worth knowing where it goes. Sprite Dust is the currency for Loot Hacks — a Chapter 7 Season 4 system that lets you permanently add rotating weapons and items to your own chest drops. Crucially, Loot Hacks only affect your loot pool, capped from Rare up to Legendary; they do not change the whole lobby's loot (that's Match Overrides, a separate server-wide system). Stacking the 5,000-dust codes early gives you a real head start on tuning your drops — and if you want to climb the Sprite ranks faster while you're at it, our guide to leveling and mastering Sprites fast pairs perfectly with the Dust you'll bank here.
FAQ
Are Fortnite Admin Panel codes free V-Bucks codes? No. Admin Panel codes only give XP, Sprites, Sprite Dust, Gizmos, loading screens, jam tracks and temporary transformations. Epic has never distributed V-Bucks through public codes, and any site offering "free V-Bucks codes" or a generator is a scam designed to steal your account.
How many Fortnite Admin Panel codes are there right now? As of 17 October 2026 there are 56 working codes and none have expired. Epic adds new ones throughout the season, so the total keeps climbing.
Where is the Admin Panel in Fortnite? It's the prompted button on the right side of the Chapter 7 Season 4 lobby. It only appears when Ranked is turned off — if you can't see it, that's the most likely reason.
Why isn't my Admin Panel code working? The three usual causes are: you typed it wrong (the codes are long), you've already redeemed it (each code works once per account), or it's a quest-gated code — codes like YourThoughtsAreMine, runSystemOverride, ImTheRealEdgelord and GatherAndCraft only redeem after you finish the relevant Story quests.
Do Admin Panel codes expire? As of 17 October 2026, none have expired. But redeem the ones you want promptly, since Chapter 7 Season 4 "Override" ends 31 October 2026 and the limited Fortnitemares and 9th-Birthday rewards may not survive the rollover.
What's the best Admin Panel code to redeem first? For raw progression, the two 40,000 XP codes — WhoCrackedTheCode and OverrideXP — plus the 5,000 Sprite Dust codes give the most value. Collectors should grab the 9YEARS 9th Birthday Sprite and the Cheat Master codes before the season rolls over.
Are Admin Panel codes the same as Cheat Codes? No. Admin Panel codes are typed in the lobby. Cheat Codes appear on surfaces during a match and are entered as directional prompts to spawn a Sprite. They're two separate systems.
The bottom line
The Admin Panel is one of the most genuinely player-friendly features Fortnite has shipped in a while: free XP, Sprite Dust and collectible Sprites with zero strings attached, all inside the official client. Work through the list above while Chapter 7 Season 4 "Override" is live (through 31 October 2026), keep Ranked off when you redeem, grab the limited Fortnitemares and 9th-Birthday codes first, and ignore anything claiming to hand out V-Bucks — that's the one "code" that has never been real.
