Look at the Judas row. It has no release date but still lists PC. So Take-Two doesn't hold back the PC column until a date is locked. GTA VI has a firm date, and its platform list stops at two consoles. That same release also kept fiscal 2027 net bookings guidance at $8.0 to $8.2 billion, built on the console launch.
What did Take-Two actually say about GTA 6 on PC?
At a recent shareholder meeting, Take-Two answered a question about platforms. Screen Rant reported the answer on October 1, 2026:
"The strategy of the company is, over time, generally speaking, to launch on any platform for which there's a meaningful audience. But that isn't always the case, and certainly if platforms were no longer viable, we would change that strategy. GamesBeat points out that Rockstar owns Cfx.re, the team behind the FiveM roleplay framework, and FiveM roleplay runs 100% on PC. A quick PC version would feed GTA 6's online and creator plans.
- Why it isn't a fact yet: No one went on the record, and neither Rockstar nor Take-Two has confirmed a date. For GTA IV, GTA V and RDR2, Rockstar didn't announce the PC version until after the console launch. Take-Two's investor lineup has no PC row for GTA VI. Apply the RDR2 and GTA V gaps to a November 19, 2026 launch and you get late 2027 to mid 2028. The GTA IV gap would put PC around mid 2027. The Q1 2027 report would mean about 2 to 4 months, much shorter than any of those three gaps. (Rockstar has done it fast before on a smaller game: Max Payne 3 hit PC about two weeks after consoles in 2012.) It's not impossible: as CNET notes, console prices are rising and PC is a growing share of Take-Two's business, which Take-Two itself just stressed.
