Legacy have won FISSURE Playground 3, sweeping G2 Esports 3-0 in the grand final in Suzhou on Sunday 13 September. The Brazilian side took Ancient 13-9, Mirage 13-10 and Dust II 13-4 to close out the best-of-five in the minimum three maps and bank the $300,000 first prize. Bruno "latto" Rebelatto was named MVP after a 69-kill final.
It is Legacy's third title in China, following the CS Asia Championships in 2025 and 2026, and it caps a tournament in which they never lost a series.
How the grand final went
Ancient (13-9 Legacy). Legacy picked it and built a 5-2 lead on the T side. Then it turned: five rounds in a row for G2, who went to the break 7-5 up and took the second pistol to lead 8-5. That was the end of it. G2 won one more round all map; Legacy took eight of the last ten, latto finishing with 23 kills, for 13-9.
Mirage (13-10 Legacy). G2's pick went much the same way. latto and Santino "try" Rigal shut down the first half for a 9-3 Legacy CT lead, and while G2 found rounds after the switch, the buffer never disappeared: 13-10.
Dust II (13-4 Legacy). The closeout was one-sided. Legacy took eight rounds on the T side, then won every round they needed on CT for 13-4. latto's 2.25 rating on the map was his best of the series.
Across the three maps latto finished 69-34 with a 102.9 ADR and a 1.67 rating. Guy "NertZ" Iluz was G2's only player above a 1.10 rating, at 1.23; Artem "r1nkle" Moroz closed at 0.63.
latto takes the MVP
HLTV named latto the MVP of the event on a 1.31 tournament rating. He had already gone for 60 kills in Saturday's semi-final win over MIBR and then topped that in the final — 129 kills across the last two series.
He was not unopposed. HLTV called the medal a tight race heading into the closing day, with team-mate Vinicius "n1ssim" Pereira and G2's NertZ both in contention, before latto pulled clear over the playoffs. n1ssim's own final was strong: a 2.03 CT-side rating on Ancient and 1.18 overall.
Legacy's road to the title
Legacy came through Group B without losing a match, which is what earned them a semi-final bye under the event's format — group winners skipped the quarter-finals entirely.

Five series, five wins, two maps dropped in the whole event. Legacy's five were latto, Eduardo "dumau" Wolkmer, n1ssim, Andrei "arT" Piovezan and try.
G2 took the long way round. They came out of Group A third, winning the group's lower-bracket decider 2-0 against 5star eSports (13-9 Inferno, 13-4 Ancient), then beat FURIA 2-0 in the quarter-finals (16-14 Ancient, 13-3 Dust II) and edged BetBoom Team 2-1 in the semi-final (7-13 Mirage, 16-13 Anubis, 13-7 Ancient) before running into Legacy.

Final placings and prize money
FISSURE Playground 3 ran from 8 to 13 September at the SND Cultural and Sports Centre in Suzhou, with 16 teams split into two double-elimination groups feeding a single-elimination playoff bracket. The published placings distribute $1,000,000; FISSURE has advertised the event at $1,250,000, on its own site and on the broadcast listing, and has not reconciled the two figures. The MongolZ' 13th-16th finish stands out on that list. They arrived as one of the headline names, played the event with cobrazera standing in, and were knocked out of Group A by 5star eSports (13-9 Inferno, 13-11 Nuke).
What it changes
Two things. First, Legacy are no longer a regional story: a third trophy in China inside a year, this one against a field that included G2, Astralis, FaZe Clan, BIG and The MongolZ. Second, latto is on a run that is getting hard to file under "hot streak" — three MVP medals in under a year, all won in China, and HLTV made him the highest-rated player of these playoffs at 1.45, clear of n1ssim's 1.25.
For G2, a run to the final is a result in itself, but the way it ended — four rounds won on Dust II — is the number that will follow them into their next event.
