OG Esports have parted ways with three of the five players who represented them at The International 2026, leaving the roster with two active players. In a post to the organisation's official X account on 9 September, OG thanked TIMS, Raven and Yopaj for their contributions and wished them well "for the season ahead". Liquipedia's transfer portal logged the same three names the same day, citing that post.
The all-Filipino project OG launched ten months ago is now down to Natsumi and skem, in a shuffle that has already broken up Xtreme Gaming's roster and ended Team Falcons' Dota 2 programme.
Who left and who is left
The three departures are the spine of the lineup that played TI 2026 in Shanghai.

Yopaj and TIMS were founding members of OG's Southeast Asian chapter, announced on 8 November 2025 alongside Natsumi, Nikko and skem. Raven was the newest arrival: OG signed him on 5 June 2026 as a veteran of the SEA scene brought in for the offlane "ahead of the TI qualifiers & Esports World Cup". He lasted a little over three months.
Two players remain active: carry Natsumi (John Anthony Vargas) and captain skem (Rolen Andrei Gabriel Ong), both with the club since the 8 November 2025 announcement. OG's announcement did not mention either player, and Liquipedia still lists both as active.
A third name is still attached to the team. Nikko — Nikko Bilocura — was moved to inactive on 9 April 2026, in an OG post calling him "one of the founding members of our SEA chapter". He has not played since, and Liquipedia carries him as inactive rather than departed. In practical terms, OG have two players available and three slots to fill.
OG's TI 2026 — and the season behind it
OG earned their place in Shanghai the hard way, winning the Southeast Asia regional qualifier in June to take the region's slot. The tournament itself did not go the same way.
The International 2026 ran from 13 to 23 August, with sixteen teams playing a modified Swiss group stage — top three straight into the playoffs, fourth to thirteenth into an elimination round — before the bracket. OG went 1-4 in the Swiss. Their only series win came against HULIGANI; a 0-2 defeat to GamerLegion ended the run. They finished 14th-15th, sharing the placement with Xtreme Gaming.
Per Liquipedia's results page, OG's best finish at a tier-one event in 2026 was 3rd-4th at BLAST SLAM VI in February; after that came bottom-half placements at DreamLeague Season 28, PGL Wallachia Season 7, ESL One Birmingham and the Esports World Cup. The June qualifier title is the only trophy on the season's ledger — and OG's announcement acknowledged as much, opening with "after a whirlwind season composed of many ups and downs".
The post-TI shuffle keeps taking teams apart
OG are not an outlier. Their releases close a week of tier-one attrition.
Xtreme Gaming released NothingToSay, fy, xNova and Xxs on 4 September, leaving one player on the roster. Team Falcons, winners of The International 2025, left Dota 2 entirely days later, and one of the players that freed, Cr1t-, announced an indefinite break from competitive play on 8 September rather than looking for a new team. Add OG's three, and the free-agent pool now holds a cluster of players who were on stage at The International last month.
The next event on the calendar is PGL Wallachia Season 9, a $1,000,000, sixteen-team tournament scheduled for 17 to 27 September in Bucharest. With two players available, OG would need three signings or three stand-ins to field a team there. They have not publicly commented on the event since the releases, and Liquipedia's page for it still lists no confirmed participants a week out from the start.
What to watch next
Yopaj, Raven and TIMS reaching free agency together matters for the SEA scene, because three proven SEA players hit the market at a point when the region's most recent new arrival had already closed its roster: Xipto Esports entered Dota 2 on 31 August with 23savage, inYourdreaM and Fbz, and has its five.
For OG the open question is scale: a rebuild around Natsumi and skem, or the end of the SEA chapter that started in November. The organisation has not said, and until it does, anything about replacements is speculation.
