Kael'thas Sunstrider Kill

Kael'thas Sunstrider Kill - WoW TBC Anniversary

  • Final Eye Boss
  • T5 Chest Token
  • Kael's Vial Remnant

Kael'thas Sunstrider is the final boss of Tempest Keep (The Eye) on 25-man, and this page is that single encounter rather than the four-boss clear. From $127.79.

The fight runs five phases and it is the longest scripted encounter in Phase 2 content. His four advisors come one at a time, the seven Phase 2 weapons are fought next, the advisors return where they died, Kael'thas himself joins after three minutes, and at 50% health he gravity-lapses the raid into the air. A clean pull is roughly 30-40 minutes door to door on the skip.

What he drops: the Tier 5 chest token, the seven weapons including Warp Slicer and Netherstrand Longbow, the Verdant Sphere that starts a best-in-slot neck quest, and Kael's Vial Remnant for The Vials of Eternity - the Mount Hyjal attunement. He also drops Ashes of Al'ar at roughly 1.7-2%, which a single kill will almost certainly not give you.

Pick the right page. This one is the kill. If you want the phoenix, the Ashes of Al'ar mount farm runs him every lockout until it lands; if you want all four bosses, the Tempest Keep carry covers Al'ar, Void Reaver and Solarian too.

The Eye is on a weekly lockout, so this is one attempt per reset. Boss skips went live on the Anniversary realms on 2026-08-27 and the attunement is gone, so no key chain is needed. US realms are the default; EU is on the region switch above.

Frequently asked questions

  • Kael'thas Sunstrider drops the Tier 5 chest token, the seven Phase 2 weapons such as Warp Slicer and Netherstrand Longbow, the Verdant Sphere that starts a best-in-slot neck quest, and Kael's Vial Remnant for the Mount Hyjal attunement. Ashes of Al'ar is also on his table at roughly 1.7-2% per kill.

  • The Kael'thas Sunstrider encounter in The Eye has five phases. His four advisors are pulled one at a time, then the seven weapons, then the advisors resurrect where they fell, then Kael'thas engages after about three minutes, and at 50% health he lifts the whole 25-man raid with Gravity Lapse. A clean kill takes about 30-40 minutes.

  • Yes, that is exactly what this $127.79 service is. Al'ar, Void Reaver and High Astromancer Solarian are cleared for you, or the run uses the boss skip that went live on the Anniversary realms on 2026-08-27, and your character takes the last encounter in Tempest Keep.

  • No. Ashes of Al'ar drops from Kael'thas Sunstrider at roughly 1.7-2% per kill, so one run is a lottery ticket and this page does not promise the mount. If the phoenix is the goal, the Ashes of Al'ar mount farm kills him every weekly lockout until it actually drops.

  • The Tempest Keep carry clears all four bosses of The Eye - Al'ar, Void Reaver, High Astromancer Solarian and Kael'thas Sunstrider - from $212.39. This page is the single Kael'thas Sunstrider encounter from $127.79, for players who already have the first three on lockout that week.

  • No. The Tempest Keep attunement was removed on the TBC Anniversary realms, so any level 70 can enter The Eye and reach Kael'thas Sunstrider. He is instead a prerequisite for other content: Kael's Vial Remnant from this kill is one of the two items The Vials of Eternity needs for Mount Hyjal.

  • All of them. Kael'thas Sunstrider kills run on every US TBC Anniversary realm, PvE and PvP, and US is the default region on this page with USD pricing. Runs are scheduled around your own weekly reset in ET or PT, support answers in US hours, and EU realms are priced on the region switch above.

  • Once per weekly reset. Tempest Keep uses a 25-man weekly lockout, so a character gets one Kael'thas Sunstrider kill every seven days. If you are already saved to an ID where he is dead, the run moves to your next reset - which is also why Ashes of Al'ar at 1.7-2% is sold as a multi-week farm, not a single kill.
