Warglaives of Azzinoth

Buy WoW TBC Anniversary Warglaives of Azzinoth

  • Illidan Drop
  • Run Until It Lands
  • Warrior & Rogue

Both Warglaives drop from one boss: Illidan Stormrage, the last encounter in Black Temple. One glaive is $2,699.99, the pair is $5,399.99.

We do not quote a drop rate, and you should distrust any page that does. Blizzard has never published one. The figures you see quoted around 5% are community-aggregated kill logs, not an official number. That is precisely why this is priced as a run-until-it-lands farm and not as a single clear.

Two weapons, one name. Both the main hand and the off hand are called Warglaive of Azzinoth. Together they form the two-piece set The Twin Blades of Azzinoth.

Who can actually use them: in TBC, warriors and rogues only. If you have read that death knights, demon hunters or monks can equip them, that is retail item data leaking onto a Classic page — those classes do not exist in 2.x.

They are Bind on Pickup and Unique, so they cannot be traded or mailed. The kill has to happen on your character, which is why this is piloted or self-play, never a delivery.

Attunement. Illidan is behind the Medallion of Karabor, which is behind the Hyjal attunement. Add both chains above if you are not attuned yet.

Frequently asked questions

  • Blizzard has never published one, so we will not quote a percentage. Community kill logs suggest it is rare enough that a fixed number of runs is not a promise anyone can keep, which is why this service runs until the glaive drops.

  • Illidan Stormrage, the final boss of Black Temple, is the only source of both the main hand and the off hand.

  • Warriors and rogues, at level 70. Death knights, demon hunters and monks do not exist in The Burning Crusade — pages listing them are quoting retail item data.

  • No. They are Bind on Pickup and Unique, so the kill has to happen on your character. Choose piloted or self-play.
