If you are hunting the Radial Press in ARC Raiders, you are almost certainly stuck one step short of amplified weapons. The Radial Press is one of three materials that take the Gunsmith from level 3 to level 4, and it is the one players keep failing to find, because it only spawns on one map and almost all of it sits in one building. Search the wrong map and you can run Mechanical areas for hours without seeing one.
Quick answer (TL;DR): The Radial Press is an Epic Topside Material added with Frozen Trail 2.0 (October 8, 2026). According to spawn data pulled from the 2.0 game files by arcraidershub, it spawns only on Pendola Pass, and 304 of its 308 spawn spots are inside Almatera Station. Check the metal shelves in the second-floor shelf room and the tables and seats of the parked train cars under the station. Open Storm Huts during a Flash Freeze are a good secondary source. You need 3 Radial Presses (plus 3 Magnetic Accelerators and 1 Emperor Modulator) for Gunsmith level 4, the bench level that unlocks weapon amplification. It sells for 3,000 Coins, stacks to 3 and weighs 0.5.
The rest of this guide covers the exact spots, a route that hits them in one raid, the full Gunsmith 4 shopping list, and whether to keep, sell or recycle the spares. For the wider map, see our Pendola Pass map guide.

What is the Radial Press in ARC Raiders?
The Radial Press is an Epic Topside Material that came with the Frozen Trail 2.0 update. Its in-game description just says "Used in crafting," and the tooltip lists two loot types: Mechanical and Industrial. In practice it has one real job, which is upgrading the Gunsmith to level 4.
Here are the item stats from the in-game tooltip and the ARC Raiders wiki:
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Rarity | Epic |
| Type | Topside Material |
| Loot types | Mechanical, Industrial |
| Stack size | 3 |
| Weight | 0.5 |
| Sell value | 3,000 Coins |
| Recycles into | 1× Advanced Mechanical Components |
| Salvages into | 1× Mechanical Components |
| Craftable? | No, scavenging only |
You can't craft a Radial Press, and nothing recycles or salvages into one. Looting it Topside is the only way to get it.
Where do you find the Radial Press?
On Pendola Pass, and almost always at Almatera Station. Arcraidershub went through the spawn data in the 2.0 game files and found 308 possible Radial Press spawn spots, all on Pendola Pass. 304 of them are in Almatera Station and the other 4 are in Porta Benvenuti, right next door. Mechanical and Industrial areas on the other six maps don't roll it at all. That is why players running the Spaceport keep coming back empty-handed. One r/ArcRaiders player who had run Mechanical and Industrial areas on the Spaceport and Pendola Pass without a single drop summed it up: "I cannot find these for the life of me."
Almatera Station sits directly east of the fallen Emperor, between Porta Benvenuti to the west and Frozen River and Railroad Junction to the east. The Commissary Supermarket is just south of it.
Per arcraidershub, every spawn spot is loose loot lying out in the open, not inside an open-world container. Here is how those spots break down:
| Where it spawns | Share of spawn spots |
|---|---|
| Shelves and storage racks | 54% |
| Train cars: tables and seats | 35% |
| Tables, chairs and counters | 7% |
| Parked vehicles | 2% |
So you mostly look at surfaces. Walk shelf rows and train aisles and look down at tables. Popping every crate you pass mostly wastes time, at least in the station itself.
The Almatera Station shelf room (best single spot)
Go in through the station's main entrance and take the escalators up to the second floor. The room full of metal shelving is right at the top. Walk every row. Shelves account for more than half of all Radial Press spawn spots, and this room holds a lot of them.
Arcraidershub reports that in a raid where Almatera Station was a red (High) loot zone, this one room produced a Radial Press, Laser Level, Insulation Roll, Thermal Shaker, Hand Drill, Steel Cable and Sheet Metal. When the station was only a yellow (Medium) zone, the same shelves still produced a Radial Press, a Hand Drill and a Calculator.
The parked train cars under the station
About a third of the spawn spots are in the parked passenger trains under Almatera Station. Each bay has a table and seats. Walk the aisle and look down. These are quick to clear, and the cars give you some cover while you loot.
Storm Huts (secondary source)
Storm Huts are small shelters out in the open on Pendola Pass. They open up when a Flash Freeze hits the map, and an active one shows on your map. When you get close you'll hear a radio broadcast and see a red beacon on the roof. Game Rant reports finding the Radial Press inside them, either on the shelf at the back or in one of the wooden crates. Close the door behind you to keep other squads off the loot.
The two sources disagree on containers. Arcraidershub's file data says open-world containers never hold the Radial Press, while Game Rant mentions crates. Storm Huts are event structures with their own loot, so search the whole hut. Just don't expect crates elsewhere on the map to drop it.
Key rooms
Key rooms use their own loot tables, so they aren't counted in the 308 spots above. Arcraidershub's footage shows the Almatera Station, Cielo Sereno Observatory and Old Town key rooms producing Frozen Trail Epics, including a Radial Press. If you're already carrying the right key, open the room.
Does the loot zone matter for the Radial Press?
Yes, a lot. Frozen Trail added a Dynamic Loot Zone system. The official 2.0 patch notes say it is "currently exclusive to Pendola Pass". Areas change loot value from raid to raid but keep their loot type, so Almatera Station is always the right kind of area. How rich it is changes from raid to raid.
- Check the map at raid start. Areas marked yellow have Medium loot value and red areas have High. If Almatera Station is red, go there first.
- Red is best but not required. The yellow-zone run above still produced a Radial Press from the shelf room alone.
- Don't count on other Mechanical areas. Gunsmith upgrades usually tell you to "search Mechanical and Industrial areas," but the spawn data rules out almost everything except Almatera Station and Porta Benvenuti.
What is the fastest Radial Press farming route?
This route covers all 304 Almatera Station spawn spots in one loop, plus the 4 in Porta Benvenuti if you pass through it:
- Load into Pendola Pass and check the loot-zone colours before you move.
- Head for Almatera Station, east of the fallen Emperor. If you spawn west, go around through Porta Benvenuti and check its 4 spots on the way.
- Clear the parked train cars under the station first. They're fast, and another squad heading for the shelf room may not have reached them yet.
- Take the escalators to the second-floor shelf room and walk every row.
- Extract or keep going. It weighs 0.5 and stacks to 3, so carrying a few costs you almost nothing. If you get a Flash Freeze on the way out, check any Storm Hut that opens on your route.
Bring a safe pocket slot and put the first Radial Press in it right away. It's an Epic you'll need three of, so losing it to a third party on the way out hurts. Some Pendola Pass doors are frozen shut, too. Our frozen doors guide covers how to get through them.
What is the Radial Press used for?
The Gunsmith level 4 upgrade. The wiki lists the Gunsmith's level 3 to level 4 cost as:
| Material | Quantity | Rarity | Sell value each | Where to get it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Radial Press | 3 | Epic | 3,000 | Pendola Pass, mostly Almatera Station |
| Magnetic Accelerator | 3 | Epic | 5,500 | Matriarch, Queen, Exodus scavenging, or crafted at Refiner 3 |
| Emperor Modulator | 1 | Legendary | 7,000 | Scavenging, ARC, the Fallen Emperor |
Gunsmith level 4 also requires the Outpost. Taken together, that's 32,500 Coins of sell value going into one bench upgrade: 9,000 from the presses, 16,500 from the accelerators and 7,000 from the modulator. Plan around the bottleneck. For most players that will be the Emperor Modulator or the Magnetic Accelerators, not the Radial Press, once you know where to look.
Two more notes on the other materials:
- Magnetic Accelerator can be crafted at Refiner level 3 from 2× Advanced Mechanical Components + 2× ARC Motion Core. Recycling a spare Radial Press gives you one Advanced Mechanical Component toward that recipe.
- Emperor Modulator is a Legendary whose listed sources include the Fallen Emperor. Its only listed use is the Gunsmith upgrade, so bank one as soon as it drops.
Level 4 is the Gunsmith tier that unlocks weapon amplification, the fifth weapon level that came with Frozen Trail. The weapon amplification guide explains the full unlock chain, including the Research Bench and Outpost requirements. The amplification module farm covers the modules every amplified weapon needs.
Should you keep, sell or recycle the Radial Press?
Keep your first three. Sell the rest.
- Under Gunsmith 4: keep every press until you have three. You can't craft it and it only spawns in one area, so replacing a sold one costs a whole Pendola run.
- Gunsmith 4 done: the wiki lists no other recipe, project or quest that uses it. Each spare sells for 3,000 Coins, which is the best return.
- Recycle only if you're short on Advanced Mechanical Components. One press gives one component. That helps with a Magnetic Accelerator craft, but you're giving up 3,000 Coins for it.
Arcraidershub also lists one Radial Press for the Chambers Nightstand Design, an Outpost furniture item. The wiki doesn't list that recipe yet, so treat it as unconfirmed and keep a fourth only if you want that piece of furniture.
What are the most common Radial Press mistakes?
- Farming the wrong map. Spaceport, Buried City and Dam Mechanical areas don't roll it. It's Pendola Pass only.
- Opening containers instead of checking surfaces. About 89% of its spawn spots are shelves or train-car tables and seats.
- Skipping the train cars. That's a third of the spawn spots.
- Ignoring the loot-zone colours. A red Almatera Station is worth going out of your way for.
- Selling presses before the upgrade. Three of them is 9,000 Coins, which looks tempting until you need them back.

FAQ
Where is the best place to find the Radial Press in ARC Raiders? Almatera Station on Pendola Pass. Spawn data from the 2.0 game files puts 304 of its 308 spawn spots there. The best single room is the second-floor shelf room at the top of the escalators, followed by the parked train cars under the station.
Can you find the Radial Press on other maps? No. Every Radial Press spawn spot in the game-file data is on Pendola Pass, the map added in Frozen Trail 2.0. Mechanical and Industrial areas on Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, the Spaceport, the Blue Gate, Stella Montis and Riven Tides don't spawn it.
How many Radial Presses do you need for Gunsmith 4? Three. The level 3 to 4 upgrade also needs 3 Magnetic Accelerators and 1 Emperor Modulator, and the Outpost has to be unlocked.
Can you craft the Radial Press? No. The wiki lists no recipe, and nothing recycles or salvages into it. Looting it Topside is the only way to get one.
How much is a Radial Press worth? It sells for 3,000 Coins. Recycling gives 1 Advanced Mechanical Components and salvaging gives 1 Mechanical Components.
Is the Radial Press used for anything besides the Gunsmith? The wiki lists no other recipe, project or quest. Arcraidershub mentions the Chambers Nightstand Design for the Outpost, but that isn't confirmed on the wiki yet. Keep three for the Gunsmith and sell the rest.
