How to Get to Level 3000 in Blox Fruits (Update 30): The Fastest Sea 1 Secrets Route

Reworked First Sea island environment in Blox Fruits Update 30

TL;DR: To reach the new level 3,000 cap in Blox Fruits you have to clear Island Secrets in the reworked First Sea — normal quests and bosses stop awarding XP at level 2,800, and the only levels above that come from Secrets. Update 30 "Magnet" (live since September 5, 2026) rebuilt all 16 First Sea islands and hid 40 Secrets across them: a mix of small puzzles, randomly spawning quests, and awakened-boss fights. Each one you clear is worth a Secret level, and finishing the set raises your maximum from 2,800 to 3,000. Every island shows a star rating (★☆☆ → ★★★); three-starring islands and banking all 40 stars unlocks a Middle Town teleporter that makes farming far faster, and completing your first Secret unlocks a World Map on your HUD that tracks progress per island. Below is the fastest clear order to 3,000, where every documented Secret lives, and how the new Magnet Fruit fits in.

If your XP bar froze at level 2,800 and you don't understand why it won't move, this is the fix: Update 30 moved the entire 2,800→3,000 climb into the First Sea's new Secrets system, so the leveling route you remember is gone. All numbers here are from the Update 30 patch notes and community clear-guides captured in September–October 2026; where the game itself hasn't confirmed something (the exact Secrets Master reward, a couple of undocumented island objectives), it's flagged as such.

What changed in the Sea 1 rework?

Blox Fruits' First Sea had barely been touched since launch. Update 30 remastered all 16 islands — Pirate Village, Jungle, Middle Town, Desert, Marine Fortress, Colosseum, Prison, Magma Village, Skylands, Upper Skylands, Underwater City, Frozen Village, Mob Island and the rest — with new layouts, buildings, textures and lighting. Every NPC got a fresh look and a new dialogue UI, and the Gacha Dealer moved to Middle Town.

The headline feature is the Secrets system. As the patch notes put it, the First Sea now contains "40 secrets" spread across the islands, and completing them is the mechanic that lets you grind past the old cap. That reframes the First Sea from a 15-minute starter zone into a genuine completionist hub.

Two structural facts matter before you start:

  • Secret levels stack on top of the 2,800 cap. Normal grinding (quests, NPCs, bosses) stops awarding XP at level 2,800. The levels between 2,800 and the new 3,000 cap come only from clearing Secrets. If your XP bar froze at 2,800, you haven't hit a bug — you've hit the gate. (Note: the cap is officially 3,000 for clearing all current Secret levels; some community reports put the currently-reachable number a few levels short while the last Secrets are still being documented.)
  • Stars track completion per island. Each island with Secrets shows a star rating: ★☆☆ = 1 Secret done, ★★☆ = 2, ★★★ = all three cleared and the island fully done. Three-starring an island also unlocks it as a teleport destination, and banking all 40 stars unlocks the main teleporter in Middle Town.

Heads-up on the count: the patch notes say 40 Secrets, but the current community clear-guides only fully document around 36 across the named islands, with a couple of islands (Fountain City, Mob Island) still undocumented at the time of writing. Treat 40 as the official target and expect a few islands to hide an objective the guides haven't mapped yet.

How the Secrets actually work

There are three Secret types, and most islands mix them:

  • Puzzles — environmental interactions (cutting ropes, hitting stones, aligning beams) that trigger when done in the right order.
  • Quests — a hidden NPC gives a task (fetch an item, clear enemies) that only appears once you find and talk to them. Some quests spawn randomly, so if an NPC isn't there, re-enter the island.
  • Awakened bosses — the reworked Sea 1 bosses now hide a secret awakened mode you push them into for the Secret credit.

When you complete your first Secret, the game unlocks a World Map on your HUD. Use it constantly — it lists every island and your star progress, so you can see at a glance which islands still owe you Secrets. There's also a Secrets Master NPC added to Sea 1 (sources list him in Middle Town's upper floor near a window). The patch notes say only that he "keeps a special secret of his own" — his exact objective and reward aren't documented yet, so verify it in-game before chasing it.

All Sea 1 Island Secrets and locations

Here's where each documented Secret lives, island by island. Objectives can rotate (especially the quest-type ones), so use these as the starting point, not a fixed script.

Pirate Village (3 Secrets)

  • Puzzle: Cut the five rope points holding down the windmill above the town square with any cutting weapon. The sails start turning after the last rope is cut.
  • Quest: Beat the three Tavern Pirates near the Chef boss spawn; the Chef gives a potion and the docks NPC pays out.
  • Boss: Push the Chef into its powered-up (awakened) form on the upper balcony.

Jungle (3 Secrets, across both Jungle sections)

  • Puzzle: Pick up the grapple hook at the base of the giant tree and throw it onto the zipline platform.
  • Quest: The Adventurer in the lake wants a hat a monkey hid up a tree.
  • Also check the hidden room below the centre ladder and the large green button near the dock.

Desert Island (3 Secrets)

  • Puzzle: Hit the stones beside the pyramid until a plate rises.
  • Quest: Enter the pyramid through the low dirt patch by the cactus and fence, clear the skeletons around Hasan, then return to the Merchant and choose "Prickly Harvest."
  • Reward: Break 10 cacti for petals, hand them in for levels plus a Lava Potion.

Marine Fortress (3 Secrets)

The quest giver tells you only the keep's cannons can damage it — use the two front buster cannons on the guard posts above the dock.

Prison Island (3 Secrets)

The Jail Keeper wants three escaping prisoners stopped: one breaking the outer wall, one digging a tunnel, and one building a raft. Catch all three.

Colosseum Island (3 Secrets)

Talk to the Emperor on the balcony, clear three waves ending in a Supreme Gladiator, then speak to him again for the EXP payout.

Magma Village (3 Secrets)

  • Hit the lava-pool crater near the dock until a Large Lava Elemental appears; defeat it plus the Mini Lava Elementals, then claim from the Mayor.
  • The Living Skeleton asks you to shut down a drill in Volcano Cave, reached through the mine entrance at the back of the island.

Skylands & Upper Skylands (3 each)

  • Skylands: The Angel Knight stands behind the building at the far end of the upper village.
  • Upper Skylands: Reached by portal. Take "The Ancient Temple" from Sky Quest Giver 2, blow up the blocking doorway blocks, align the device beams into a closed circle, and return the intel during the storm.

Frozen Village (3 Secrets)

Enter the large front cave and break the Ability Teacher NPC out of the ice with melee attacks.

Underwater City (3 Secrets)

Reached through the Whirlpool. Each Secret only exists after you accept it from a hidden Quest Giver NPC inside the domed city — specific objectives aren't fully mapped yet.

Middle Town (0 Secrets)

Middle Town holds no Secrets itself — it's the hub. It houses the relocated Gacha Dealer, the Secrets Master, and the main teleporter that unlocks once you've earned all 40 stars.

Fastest clear order to level 3000

You don't need to clear islands in map order. The efficient route:

  • Do one easy Secret first (Pirate Village's windmill puzzle is the quickest) to unlock the World Map HUD. Now you can see your whole checklist.
  • Sweep the puzzle-and-quest islands that don't gate behind high requirements — Pirate Village, Jungle, Desert, Prison, Colosseum, Magma Village. These are mostly low-combat and give fast Secret levels.
  • Clear the awakened bosses as you pass through each island. Bring a strong grinding setup — the awakened forms hit harder than the base bosses.
  • Finish the Sky and Underwater islands last, since they require portals/whirlpools and a bit more movement.
  • Return to Middle Town once you hit 40 stars to light up the teleporter — after that, re-running or cleaning up Secrets is far quicker.

Your level climbs from 2,800 toward 3,000 as you bank Secret levels, so there's no separate XP grind — clearing Secrets is the leveling. If you're a returning player who was stuck at 2,800, this is the content that unblocks you.

Where the Magnet Fruit fits in

Magnet fruit moveset panel in Blox Fruits Update 30

Update 30 shipped the Sea 1 rework alongside the new Magnet Fruit, so most players chasing Secrets are also deciding whether to buy it. Quick facts: Magnet is priced at 3,500 Robux (2,800 Robux with the Roblox Plus discount) in the permanent fruit shop. Its mechanic is a Magnetic Power meter that charges by collecting scrap; at max charge it triggers Maximum Overdrive, transforming you into the Arcsteel mech. Its [F] move forcefully unequips an enemy's sword — a rare true disarm effect in Blox Fruits. Combat-wise it's strong but takes extra damage from Lightning, which is its clean counter.

Magnet is a top-tier grinder, which makes it a genuinely good pick for clearing the awakened Sea 1 bosses — but it's brand-new, so its trade value is still unstable. Don't overpay in trades for it yet.

FAQ

What are the Blox Fruits Sea 1 Secrets? They're 40 hidden objectives added across the reworked First Sea islands in Update 30 (live September 5, 2026). Each is a small puzzle, a hidden quest, or an awakened-boss fight. Completing them awards Secret levels, which are the only way to grind past the normal level 2,800 cap toward the new 3,000 maximum.

How do you get to level 3000 in Blox Fruits? Normal quests and bosses stop giving XP at level 2,800. The levels from 2,800 to 3,000 come exclusively from clearing First Sea Secrets. There's no separate grind — each Secret you finish is a Secret level, and clearing the current set raises your cap to 3,000.

How does the star rating work? Every island with Secrets has three, shown as stars: ★☆☆ = one done, ★★☆ = two, ★★★ = all three (island fully cleared). Three-starring an island unlocks it as a teleport point, and earning all 40 stars unlocks the main teleporter in Middle Town.

Where is the Secrets Master NPC? Sources place him on the upper floor of a large Middle Town building, near a window. The patch notes say he "keeps a special secret of his own," but his exact objective and reward aren't documented yet — check his in-game dialogue before relying on either, since even his name ("Secret Master" vs "Secrets Master") varies between guides.

Do the Sea 1 Secrets expire? No. Unlike event content, the Secrets are a permanent part of the reworked First Sea, so you can clear them at your own pace. The 2,800→3,000 cap gate stays in place until you do.

Is the Magnet Fruit worth buying for the Secrets? It's a strong grinder that handles the awakened Sea 1 bosses well, priced at 3,500 Robux (2,800 with Roblox Plus). But it's new and its trade value is unsettled, so buy it to use, not to flip — and remember Lightning counters it hard in PvP.
