People search for Dead Rails codes all the time, and a lot of videos and sites claim to have them. The honest answer right now is simple: there aren't any. Here's what we checked, why codes don't work in Dead Rails yet, and how to get Bonds for free by playing.
Quick answer (checked November 6, 2026): There are no active Dead Rails codes. Dead Rails, made by RCM Games, has no code redemption system, so there's no Codes button and nowhere to type a code. No codes have ever been released, so there are no expired codes either. Any "Dead Rails promo code" you see in a video or on a generator site is fake. The free way to get Bonds, the game's main currency, is to collect them in buildings during runs, finish runs and complete Challenges.

We checked the game's own Roblox page and three code trackers on November 6, 2026:
- The game's Roblox page. A Roblox Games API pull at 16:06 UTC showed the current description, and it doesn't mention codes at all.
- Destructoid (updated November 2, 2026) says there are no active codes and the developer "has yet to add a code redemption system to the game".
- UrGameTips (checked November 2026) says Dead Rails "does not have a code redemption system".
- Pocket Gamer says the same in its August 2026 check.

There are none. Dead Rails has never had a code system, so no code has ever worked and none have expired. If a list shows "expired Dead Rails codes", it's made up. The 5-digit vault codes you find inside Banks during a run only open that run's safe. They aren't promo codes.
How do you redeem Dead Rails codes?
You can't, yet. Most Roblox games put a Codes button in a side menu or the shop, but Dead Rails doesn't have one, in the lobby or during a run. If RCM Games adds codes later, expect them to add a redeem button in the same update. We'll write the exact steps here when that happens.
Are the Dead Rails codes on YouTube real?
No. Plenty of videos are titled "working Dead Rails codes", but the game has no place to enter them, so they can't work. Treat these as clickbait.
Be more careful with sites that promise free Bonds or Robux for Dead Rails. Anything that asks for your Roblox password, a browser extension or a "verification" step is a scam that can steal your account. The only real ways to get Bonds are playing the game or buying them with Robux in the lobby.

Bonds are what codes would usually give you, and they're what you spend in the Lobby on Classes, Trains and Starting Items. You can also buy them with Robux in the lobby. According to the community-run Dead Rails Wiki, these are the free ways to earn them:

Picking Bonds up in buildings is the big earner. Winning a run pays only 10 or 20 Bonds, while a run where you search everything can bring in over 100. The wiki also suggests playing solo or with friends who don't need Bonds, so you don't have to share what spawns.
For a quick early boost, work through the Challenge Board. Each challenge pays only once, but together they're enough for your first Class or Train. After that, the three Weekly Challenges are the steady top-up.
Where would new Dead Rails codes be announced?
If codes ever arrive, these are the official places to check first:
- The Dead Rails Roblox page. Dead Rails on Roblox is where the developer updates the title and description. The title currently reads "[👻EVENT] Dead Rails".
- The RCM Games Roblox group. RCM Games is the verified group behind the game, with about 5.23 million members on November 6, 2026.
- Update notes. Code systems usually come in with a big update, so new update announcements are worth a look.
Don't trust a code that only appears on a random site and nowhere official.

Dead Rails is a survival game on Roblox from RCM Games, the group behind The Nightshift Experience series.
