Players present in this area during the storm will instantly die, and their vehicles and structures will be wiped from the map. Furthermore, the storm redistributes resource nodes both in the Deep Desert and, to a lesser extent, in the Haggi Basin.

After the reset, players will need to explore the Deep Desert again, as it will be shrouded in a fog of war hiding points of interest and other useful data. Similarly, some zones in the Haggi Basin, where resources have changed location, will require re-scanning using Recon Drones. Bases in the Haggi Basin will remain intact.

Before each reset, players are advised to leave the Deep Desert and transfer all valuable resources to the Haggi Basin to preserve their stockpiles. Anything left in the Deep Desert at the peak of the storm will be destroyed. Private servers are also subject to weekly Coriolis storms and cannot avoid resets.

When the Coriolis Storm Occurs

The Coriolis storm begins every Tuesday during server restarts. However, the exact timing depends on the region and server, as restarts happen at different times. Players will receive a warning about the approaching storm via in-game radio and notification systems several hours prior to the event.

The warning functions similarly to a sandstorm alert but with an extended lead time so players have a chance to leave the danger zone. The storm lasts several hours, and the reset occurs at its peak the so-called critical point, when everything and everyone in the Deep Desert is destroyed.

The Deep Desert is a vast PvP zone located north of the Haggi Basin, featuring the rarest resources, toughest enemies, numerous sandworms, and endgame activities. The Haggi Basin includes the entire starting PvE area, not just the southern part. It hosts locations such as:

• Jabal Eifrit Al-Janub
• Misa Trail
• Eastern Barrier Wall

To access the Deep Desert, players must cross the Barrier Wall on an Ornithopter a force field at the northern border of the Haggi Basin. This grants access to the ground map, where players can choose their direction: the Deep Desert, the Harko Village, or Arrakeen.

NPC taxis at hubs cannot transport you directly into the Deep Desert you will need your own vehicle. To return to the Haggi Basin, you can use special camps in the Deep Desert or cross the Barrier Wall again.

Deep Desert Zones and Exploration

The map of the Deep Desert is several times larger than the entire Haggi Basin, although resources are much scarcer here. It is divided into nine zones, each further subdivided into nine subregions, forming a grid of 81 tiles. Players will need to explore each subregion separately to find resources and points of interest.

The first layer of the Deep Desert is PvE, but as you go deeper, the zone fully shifts into PvP. This is where you can find:
