FC 27 Future Stars Team 2 leak board listing all 15 leaked players and the expected Friday 16 October 2026 release at 18:00 BST

FC 27 Future Stars Team 2 is expected to hit Ultimate Team packs on Friday 16 October 2026 at 18:00 BST (17:00 UTC) — and the full squad has been circulating since Monday. Kobbie Mainoo, Franco Mastantuono and Rayan headline a 15-player leak, with a reported Johan Manzambi SBC or Objective on the side.

The names are the easy part. The part nobody covering the leak has done is run those cards through the upgrade rules EA published for EA SPORTS FC 27 Future Stars. Those rules contain a ceiling that makes the headline cards the worst upgrade bets in the team, and a calendar that gives every Team 2 card a 110-day wait before anything changes. Here is the release time, the full list, what EA has and has not confirmed, and how to spend your EA FC 27 coins on Friday.

Phase check: FC 27 is in the final week of Season 1 (17 September to 22 October 2026, EA-confirmed in the Launch Rewards Pitch Notes). Future Stars is the live campaign — Team 1 arrived on 9 October — and Team 2 opens Future Stars Week 2. Everything below is current as of 15 October 2026, 16:00 UTC.

TLDR — FC 27 Future Stars Team 2 in 30 seconds. When: expected Friday 16 October 2026, 18:00 BST / 17:00 UTC / 10:00 PT, the standard Friday promo slot. EA has not published a Team 2 article or time. Who: 15 leaked players — Mainoo, Mastantuono, Rayan, Hato, Pubill, Nathaniel Brown, Alex Scott, Gisele Thompson, Dro Fernández, Alajbegović, Tresoldi, Brunner, Peio Canales, Jeltsch and Kanjinga — via FUT Police Leaks on 12 October. Ratings in the leak are predictions. Upgrades: the same EA ladder as Team 1 — 4 starts for +1 OVR (max 86), 8 starts for +1 OVR (max 87), then a PlayStyle+ and a 5-star weak foot. Nothing lands until 3 February 2027. The catch: any Team 2 card released at 87 OVR or higher gains no OVR from starts. The cheap 84–85 items have the most upside.

When does Future Stars Team 2 release in FC 27?

Friday 16 October 2026 at 18:00 BST is the expected time, one week after Team 1. In other time zones:

RegionExpected Team 2 release
UK (BST)Friday 16 October, 18:00
UTCFriday 16 October, 17:00
Central Europe (CEST)Friday 16 October, 19:00
US East (EDT)Friday 16 October, 13:00
US West (PDT)Friday 16 October, 10:00

That slot is not from EA. It comes from leak coverage and the standard Friday content time — Destructoid's countdown uses exactly these times and calls it "the usual schedule that has been followed for all promos". FUT Evolution puts it plainly: "EA hasn't announced an official time for Team 2 yet, so treat the date as expected rather than locked in."

The date fits EA's own calendar: EA's Future Stars article (9 October 2026) lays out a Week 1 and a Week 2, and Season 1 ends on 22 October, so the second Friday is the last full-week slot before the season closes.

Team 2 is also expected to replace Team 1 in packs rather than sit alongside it. That is how promo teams have rotated in previous years and how Destructoid describes it — community expectation, not an EA statement.

Timeline of the FC 27 Future Stars upgrade clock from tracking on 9 October 2026 to live upgrades on 3 February 2027, with Team 2 expected on 16 October Green dates are from EA; yellow is expected. Who is in FC 27 Future Stars Team 2?

The list below comes from FUT Police Leaks, posted on 12 October and reported by Soccer Gaming the next day. FUT Evolution and Destructoid have since published the same 15 names. The leak posted the names with a blunt question — "Good or mid?" — and a warning that matters more than the list: "Stats and PS+ are a prediction."

The 15 leaked Future Stars Team 2 players:

  • Kobbie Mainoo
  • Franco Mastantuono
  • Rayan
  • Jorrel Hato
  • Marc Pubill
  • Nathaniel Brown
  • Alex Scott
  • Gisele Thompson
  • Dro Fernández
  • Kerim Alajbegović
  • Nicolò Tresoldi
  • Paris Brunner
  • Peio Canales
  • Finn Jeltsch
  • Marveille Kanjinga

Plus one outside the packs: Soccer Gaming and FUT Evolution both report that Johan Manzambi could arrive through an SBC or Objective rather than packs. That is the one Team 2 item you can target directly instead of gambling on it, so it is the one to budget for — if it lands.

Three cautions before you spend anything:

  • No ratings are real yet. The leaked graphic's numbers are a leaker's prediction, not datamined values. Soccer Gaming calls the circulating stat predictions speculative.
  • Positions decide the upgrade route. EA splits Future Stars upgrades into ATT/MID (goals and assists) and DEF/GK (clean sheets), and a CDM counts as DEF/GK. You cannot plan a Team 2 buy until you see the card's listed position.
  • Leaks have been right this season, not perfect. Leak accounts had Team 1 on the right date (9 October) with the right squad size (15). Expect this list to be close, and verify every card in-game before you buy.

In today's r/fut thread on the Team 2 cards, several players said they still have not packed a single promo item this year. One reply saw an upside: if promo cards stay rare, their prices do not collapse to discard value, so buying one is less of a gamble.

Has EA confirmed Future Stars Team 2?

Not by name. EA's Future Stars article names exactly one player — Team 1's headliner:

"Future Stars Team 1 is headlined by Rio Ngumoha, one of England's most promising young talents." — EA SPORTS, FC 27 Future Stars

What EA has confirmed for Week 2 is the content around Team 2:

  • The second Ultimate Gauntlet of FC 27, together with a new Flash Rush Event.
  • The PlayStyle+ Lab, in EA's words: "The PlayStyle Lab levels up during Future Stars Week 2, introducing the PlayStyle+ Lab alongside the release of the first UEFA Star Performers that are eligible for PlayStyle+ upgrades starting 17 October."
  • New SBCs throughout Future Stars — "a variety of Player SBCs, Puzzle SBCs, and more".

Two FC 27-wide rules from EA's Launch Update Pitch Notes also apply to Team 2. First, "all Campaign Player Items will launch with all of their position's Roles++ unlocked" — so never spend coins on a Roles++ evolution for a Future Stars card. Second, EA says campaign squads "will have a tighter spread of Attributes and PlayStyle boosts", and cites 15 players per weekly squad for Destined for Glory. A 15-name Team 2 fits that model, though EA allows exceptions.

An r/fut post titled "official cards" circulated today, but we could not verify where its image came from — so the squad stays "leaked" here until the items appear in packs.

Which Future Stars Team 2 cards can actually upgrade?

This is the part that changes what you should buy. EA's upgrade table for Future Stars applies to every Future Stars Player Item, so Team 2 runs on the same rules as Team 1:

Mechanic (excluding Americas)NWSL, MLS, Liga MX, LPFUpgrade
4 starts2 starts+1 OVR (up to max 86)
8 starts3 starts+1 OVR (up to max 87)
ATT/MID 7 goals and assists, or DEF/GK 4 clean sheetsATT/MID 2 G+A, or DEF/GK 2 clean sheets+1 PlayStyle+ (max 1)
ATT/MID 10 goals and assists, or DEF/GK 7 clean sheetsATT/MID 4 G+A, or DEF/GK 3 clean sheets5-star weak foot

Source: EA SPORTS, FC 27 Future Stars. EA's footnotes: a player must feature in the match for a clean sheet to count; a card that already has a PlayStyle+ gets +1 base PlayStyle instead; a card already on 5-star weak foot gets 5-star skill moves instead.

Both OVR steps are capped, at 86 and then 87. Read that against a promo team and you get a result most buyers miss:

Team 2 card's release ratingOVR it can gain from startsWhat you are really paying for
85 or lower+2 (to 86, then 87)Both OVR steps plus both performance rewards
86+1 (to 87)One OVR step
87 or higher0PlayStyle+ and weak foot only

This is our reading of EA's table, not an EA statement — EA has not published a per-card cap list. But "up to max 86" and "up to max 87" are caps. Team 1 shows how much it matters: community trackers put its top cards at Vicky López 90 and Ngumoha 89, so the two most expensive items in Team 1 cannot gain OVR from starts at all.

Team 2's headliners are likely to sit in the same band. Mainoo, Mastantuono and Rayan are the cards leak coverage expects to anchor the pack market, and headliners usually top a team's ratings. If they come out at 87 or higher, you are paying headliner prices for a PlayStyle+ and a weak foot — in February. The 84–85 items further down the list get the same two performance rewards plus two OVR, for a fraction of the cost. We worked through the full Team 1 version of this in FC 27 Future Stars Upgrade Path: All Requirements, the 87 OVR Ceiling and Why the Cheap Cards Gain Most.

Do Team 2 players have enough time to hit their upgrades?

Probably, for regular starters — but the clock is longer and stranger than it looks.

Tracking date. EA writes: "All tracking will begin on 9 October, with the live upgrades releasing on 3 February. Upgrades are based solely on domestic league match performance." EA has not said whether a card released on 16 October also counts league matches from 9 October, or only from its own release. Either way, the target date does not move. EA's text says "3 February" with no year; it means 3 February 2027.

Holding period. A 16 October release to 3 February 2027 is 110 days, about 16 weeks — past the end of both Season 2 (3 December) and Season 3 (14 January 2027).

League only. Only domestic league matches count. Cup ties, European club competition and international games do not add starts or goals. For a young player who is a regular in the league, 4 starts in 16 weeks is easy and 8 is realistic. For one who mostly plays in cup games, even 4 is not guaranteed — rotation risk is the real variable on Team 2, not ability.

Women's football and the Americas. Team 2 includes at least one women's-football item (Gisele Thompson, per the leak). Women's top divisions usually play fewer league rounds and take a winter break, so check how many league fixtures her side has left before 3 February. The NWSL, MLS, Liga MX and LPF ladder needs roughly half the starts, but those leagues follow different calendars from Europe's. EA has published no rule for a league whose season ends before February. Check the league on each card before assuming the shorter ladder is the easy one.

Should you buy Future Stars Team 2 on release night or wait?

Wait, unless you are buying the Manzambi SBC or a specific low-rated card you already know you want. Three things about this particular Friday push the price of Team 2 cards higher at release than on almost any other weekend:

Our plan for Team 2:

  • Friday evening: check every Team 2 card's real rating and position. Rule out anything at 87+ as an upgrade buy, and decide whether it is worth it as a player.
  • Friday to Sunday: if Manzambi arrives as an SBC, price the fodder before you hand it in. Team 1's Carlos Espí SBC cost about 40,000 coins in fodder according to Soccer Gaming. Anything far above that for a card with an unknown upgrade route is a weak trade.
  • Tuesday to Thursday: buy the 84–85 Team 2 card you actually want, after the release-weekend spike and before Season 2 attention moves to the next promo.
  • Keep a reserve. Whatever Season 2 opens with on 22 and 23 October will compete with Team 2 for your coins.

Want the coins ready before the Team 2 price dip, or your Future Stars Academy and Week 2 evolutions cleared while you work? timesaver.gg handles both. No cheats, no bots, no injectors — and no promise of zero risk, because EA's User Agreement still prohibits coin transfers. Just paced, human delivery.

What else drops in Future Stars Week 2?

Team 2 is the headline, but Week 2 stacks four other things on the same weekend:

If you only have time for one thing this weekend, finish the Academy. It is free, it ends at 85, and it costs no coins — unlike a Team 2 pack card.

FAQ

What time does Future Stars Team 2 come out in FC 27? Expected Friday 16 October 2026 at 18:00 BST, which is 17:00 UTC, 19:00 CEST, 13:00 EDT and 10:00 PDT. That is the standard Friday promo slot reported by leak coverage; EA has not published an official time for Team 2.

Who is in FC 27 Future Stars Team 2? The leaked squad is Kobbie Mainoo, Franco Mastantuono, Rayan, Jorrel Hato, Marc Pubill, Nathaniel Brown, Alex Scott, Gisele Thompson, Dro Fernández, Kerim Alajbegović, Nicolò Tresoldi, Paris Brunner, Peio Canales, Finn Jeltsch and Marveille Kanjinga, according to FUT Police Leaks. Johan Manzambi is reported as an SBC or Objective item. None of it is EA-confirmed until the cards are in packs.

Do Future Stars Team 2 cards get the same upgrades as Team 1? Yes — EA's upgrade table covers every Future Stars Player Item: 4 starts for +1 OVR (max 86), 8 starts for +1 OVR (max 87), then a PlayStyle+ and a 5-star weak foot for goals and assists or clean sheets. Upgrades apply on 3 February 2027 and count domestic league matches only.

Is a Future Stars card worth buying if it is already 87 or higher? Only as a player, not as an upgrade bet. Both OVR steps are capped at 86 and 87, so an 87+ card can only gain the PlayStyle+ and the weak foot. The 84–85 cards can gain two OVR on top of the same rewards.

Is there a Future Stars Team 2 SBC? A Johan Manzambi SBC or Objective is reported by Soccer Gaming and FUT Evolution, but it is a leak. EA has only confirmed that Future Stars brings "a variety of Player SBCs, Puzzle SBCs, and more" throughout the campaign.
