FC 27 Season 1: Every SP Source Ranked Fastest to Slowest — Can You Still Hit Level 30 Before October 22?

Quick answer: Level 30 costs 30,000 SP. You have 18 days left. If you cleared Weeks 1 and 2, you're roughly at Level 12 from objectives alone — three more weeks of weekly grinds plus a handful of Rivals wins gets you there. Standard Pass holders need ~1,700 SP from match play on top of five full weeks of objectives. Premium Pass holders hit Level 30 from objectives alone, no match play required.

Season 1: Ones to Watch ends Thursday 22 October 2026 at 06:59 UTC — and if you haven't been tracking your Season Points (SP), you may be closer to Level 30 than you think, or further behind than you'd like. This guide lays out every SP source, ranks them by value per minute, and runs the exact math on whether Level 30 is still reachable from where you are right now.

What Does Level 30 Actually Cost?

Every level on the FC 27 Season 1 Pass costs exactly 1,000 SP, so Level 30 unlocks at 30,000 SP total. The Standard and Premium tracks share the same SP threshold — buying the Premium Pass doesn't automatically advance you. What it does is return 5,000 SP across the season: 2,500 SP when you hit Level 11 and another 2,500 SP at Level 25. That 5,000 SP rebate is worth five free levels, and it's why the math looks very different for Premium holders (more on this below).

The Season 1 Standard track rewards include 8 player items, 6 Evolutions, and 21 packs across all 30 levels. Level 15 — the halfway point — unlocks Lee Kang In and a 7× 82+ Gold Players Pack.

Every SP Source in FC 27 — Complete Breakdown

SP flows from five game modes. Here is every confirmed source, its weekly value, and its reset cadence.

Ultimate Team sources

SourceSPRefresh
Weekly Objectives (win 10, score 10 with English, buy/sell 10 players)500Weekly
Seasonal Objectives (play 12, score 16 in UT)500Weekly
Foundations (play 7 Live Events, score 20, complete SBCs, club setup)1,050One-time only
Match Play — Rivals win70 per winDaily cap: 850 SP
Match Play — Live Events win60 per winDaily cap: 850 SP
Match Play — Squad Battles win50 per winDaily cap: 850 SP
Daily Objectives (play 1, score 2)30Daily, resets 07:00 UTC

The daily match-play cap of 850 SP resets every 24 hours and unused SP does not carry forward. Per EA's Launch Update, every eligible match earns between 15 and 100 SP depending on mode and result. Hitting the full 850 SP cap requires roughly 13 Rivals wins or 17 Squad Battles wins in a single day — realistically most players will earn 200–400 SP from daily play.

Career and Grounds sources

SourceSPRefresh
Manager Career (play 5 full matches on one save)1,200Weekly
Manager Live (complete any 3 Manager Live Challenges)1,000Weekly
Player Career (complete 10 Match Objectives)1,250Weekly
The Grounds Weekly (In-World Rush + Kickabout + Drop Kick)1,000Weekly
The Grounds Daily (play 2, score 3, hit 10 Drop Kick Targets)100Daily
Note: The Grounds is only available on PS5, Xbox Series XS, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. PS4 and Xbox One players cannot earn the 1,000 weekly or 100 daily SP from this mode.

Ranked by minutes-per-SP

  • Manager Live (3 quick challenges) → 1,000 SP in ~25 minutes — Transfer Savvy, Winning Start, and Top at Christmas are the three fastest; EA confirmed all three among the Career Mode Starter Challenges.
  • Player Career (10 Match Objectives on 3-minute matches) → 1,250 SP in ~35 minutes.
  • Manager Career (5 full Beginner matches at 3-minute halves) → 1,200 SP in ~30–40 minutes.
  • UT Weekly (win 10, score 10 English, buy/sell 10 players) → 500 SP. The buy/sell task can be completed on the Web App or Companion App in under 5 minutes — list ten 200-coin players and relist them. Win 10 and Score 10 happen naturally during normal Rivals play.
  • The Grounds Weekly → 1,000 SP. Requires ~20–30 matches across three activities; do it while unlocking Grounds cosmetics.
  • UT Match Play → up to 850 SP/day. High ceiling, but time-intensive. Best for players already grinding Rivals for Champions qualification.

The Week 3 Snapshot: Where Most Players Are Right Now

Season 1 weekly objectives launched on 16 September 2026 (Web App launch day). The FUT week resets on Wednesdays at 17:00 UTC (6 PM BST), matching the TOTW release cadence — TOTW 3 dropped 30 September, TOTW 4 arrives 7 October. That puts us at Day 5 of Week 3 (Sept 30 – Oct 7) right now, with the following objective sets completed by most active players:

WeekDatesMax SP from objectivesRunning total (no match play)
1Sept 16–235,450 + 1,050 Foundations6,500 SP → Level 6
2Sept 23–305,45011,950 SP → Level 11
3 (now)Sept 30 – Oct 75,45017,400 SP → Level 17
4Oct 7–145,45022,850 SP → Level 22
5Oct 14–215,45028,300 SP → Level 28

Five full weeks of objectives (+ one-time Foundations) delivers 28,300 SP — enough for Level 28. The gap to Level 30 is 1,700 SP, which you earn from match play.

"In our testing a win is worth 70 SP in Rivals, 60 SP in Live Events and 50 SP in Squad Battles. EA has not published a full per-mode table." — FUT.GG, verified against the FC 27 Launch Update

That 1,700 SP gap works out to 24 Rivals wins spread over the remaining 18 days — roughly 1–2 wins per day. Any player who already plays enough to qualify for FUT Champions will clear this without noticing.

Can You Still Reach Level 30? Scenarios by Starting Point

Scenario A: You did weeks 1 and 2

You have roughly 11,950 SP from objectives (assuming Foundations done in Week 1). Three weeks remain.

  • Week 3: +5,450 SP → 17,400
  • Week 4: +5,450 SP → 22,850
  • Week 5: +5,450 SP → 28,300
  • Gap to Level 30: 1,700 SP from match play — about 24 Rivals wins over 18 days

Result: Level 30 is straightforward. Even averaging just 2 Rivals wins a day — a low bar for anyone who plays Rivals regularly — you clear it before October 22.

Scenario B: You only did week 1 (missed week 2)

Starting SP: ~6,500 (Week 1 objectives + Foundations). Four sets of objectives remain (weeks 2, 3, 4, 5 — but week 2 has passed).

  • Weeks 3, 4, 5 left: 3 × 5,450 = 16,350 SP
  • Running total: 22,850 SP → Level 22
  • Gap to Level 30: 7,150 SP from match play
  • That is ~102 Rivals wins over 18 days (~5–6 per day) — achievable but requires daily play

Result: Reachable with consistent play, but you'll need to hit the objectives AND play most days.

Scenario C: Brand new / late start (zero SP so far)

Starting SP: 0. Three objective weeks remain + Foundations.

  • Foundations (one-time): 1,050 SP
  • Weeks 3, 4, 5: 16,350 SP
  • Total from objectives: 17,400 SP → Level 17
  • Gap to Level 30: 12,600 SP from match play
  • At 850 SP/day cap that is exactly 14.8 days of maxed match play
  • 850 SP requires ~13 Rivals wins per day — you'd need to hit the cap almost every single day

Result: Level 30 is technically possible but demands a serious grind. Realistically, late starters will land around Level 22–25. Focus on clearing all five remaining Career and Grounds objective groups — they're the fastest 4,450 SP you'll earn this season.

Premium Pass vs Standard: The 5,000 SP Rebate Is Decisive

The Premium Pass returns 5,000 SP across the season (2,500 at Level 11, 2,500 at Level 25). That rebate makes your effective Level-30 cost 25,000 SP instead of 30,000 — which is five free levels.

Pass typeSP needed for Level 30Covered by 5 weeks of objectives?
Standard30,000 SPNo — need 1,700 from match play
Premium25,000 SPYes — 28,300 from objectives alone covers it

Premium Pass holders who completed every weekly objective group hit Level 30 automatically, with 3,300 SP to spare, without touching a single Rivals match for SP purposes. That rebate is the most undervalued part of the Premium Pass.

The Fastest Path if You're Behind

If you're in Scenario B or C, this is the priority order:

  • Manager Live (3 challenges, ~25 min) → 1,000 SP — done in one session, no competitive pressure.
  • Player Career (10 Match Objectives at 3-minute Beginner halves) → 1,250 SP — set to Beginner, pick a top club, win by a lot.
  • Manager Career (5 full Beginner matches) → 1,200 SP — fastest on low difficulty with time shortened.
  • UT Weekly Objectives — the buy/sell task (buy/sell 10 players on the Transfer Market) takes 3–5 minutes via the Companion App. Do this immediately if you haven't already — it's free SP.
5. **The Grounds (PS5/PC/Series XS only)** — 1,700 SP per week if you clear both the weekly and daily objectives.

Complete those five groups each week and you earn 5,450 SP in under two hours of actual gameplay, with no competitive pressure. The remaining gap to Level 30 comes from normal play.

When Does the Season End Exactly?

Season 1: Ones to Watch ends Thursday 22 October 2026 at 06:59 UTC — that is 9:59 AM Moscow / 7:59 AM Central European time. EA normally launches Season 2 the same day. The daily reset time (07:00 UTC) and the season end time (06:59 UTC) are effectively the same — your final daily objective window closes as the season does.

Save your weekly objectives for the first day of each new week (Wednesdays at 17:00 UTC) so you always have the full seven days to complete them before the reset. Completing them by Tuesday night UK time gives you a safe buffer before the Wednesday 17:00 UTC cutoff.

Skip the Grind

If you want the Evolution rewards or the season pass player items without spending 18 days clocking match play, the direct route is faster. The Evolutions in the Season 1 Pass are the main reason most players want Level 30 — and our boost service gets those same Evo slots cleared for you.

FAQ

How many SP do you earn per week in FC 27 Season 1? The maximum from weekly objectives alone is 5,450 SP (UT Weekly Objectives 500 + Seasonal Objectives 500 + Manager Career 1,200 + Manager Live 1,000 + Player Career 1,250 + The Grounds 1,000). Add up to 850 SP per day from match play and 30–100 SP per day from daily objectives for a theoretical weekly maximum of around 12,310 SP — though most players hit 6,000–8,000.

What is the daily SP cap in FC 27? 850 SP per day from match play in Ultimate Team, resetting at 07:00 UTC. Scoring a Rivals win earns 70 SP; a Live Events win earns 60 SP; a Squad Battles win earns 50 SP. The cap does not carry over to the next day if unused.

Does the FC 27 Season Pass carry over to Season 2? No. Any uncollected SP and pass progress resets when Season 1 ends on 22 October 2026. Your reward items are already in your Club once a level unlocks, but your SP total and position on the track do not transfer.

Is the Foundations objective group still available in Week 3? Yes. Foundations is a one-time group (not weekly) that stays open until the season ends. If you haven't completed it yet, it is still worth the full 1,050 SP and takes about 30–45 minutes.

Do Career Mode SP objectives count if I skip the cutscenes? Yes. Manager Career awards SP for five matches played (not won, not simulated), and you can skip all cutscenes. Set difficulty to Beginner and match length to 3-minute halves for the fastest possible completion — about six minutes per match including menus.

Is Level 30 worth it for Standard Pass holders? The Standard Season 1 Pass free track includes 8 player items (including Lee Kang In at Level 15 and Ferran Torres at Level 29), 6 Evolutions, and 21 packs across 30 levels. The final Evolution at Level 28 is the most coveted reward for most players — even if you stall at Level 28 from objectives, a couple of extra Rivals sessions closes the gap.
