Lil Uzi Vert is coming to Fortnite. The rapper posted an eight-second Fortnite teaser on 22 October 2026 (Beebom). It shows their own Icon-style skin and gives a first look at the Chapter 7 mini-season due to replace Chapter 7 Season 4 "Override" at the start of November. Here's what's officially confirmed, what's still a leak, how A$AP Rocky's teaser from a day earlier fits in, and what Uzi content you can already buy.
Quick answer: Is there a Lil Uzi Vert skin in Fortnite?
- Not yet, but one is coming. As of 22 October 2026 there is no Lil Uzi Vert outfit in the game. Uzi revealed one in an artist-posted official Fortnite teaser on Instagram that day.
- Expected release: with the Chapter 7 mini-season, which leakers and outlets expect on 1 November 2026. Epic hasn't confirmed the date or the price.
- Already in the game: the Desirable Icon Series emote ("Just Wanna Rock", 500 V-Bucks, first released 9 November 2024) and two Jam Tracks, "XO Tour Llif3" and "The Way Life Goes" (500 V-Bucks each, since 12 April 2024).
- Live in-game right now: the giant pirate chest east of Sunken Shores has played Uzi's "What You Saying" since 22 October, 9 AM ET.
- Related teaser: A$AP Rocky posted a matching red-and-black teaser on 21 October 2026. Both trail the same pirate-and-anime mini-season.
Did Epic officially confirm the Lil Uzi Vert Fortnite skin?
Yes, the skin is teased officially. Only the date and price are still unconfirmed. The artist-posted teaser uses Epic Games artwork, was posted by Uzi on Instagram and reported by Beebom on 22 October, and matches a run of "artist drops a mini-season teaser" posts that started with A$AP Rocky the day before. Beebom describes the clip like this:
"The official Fortnite Lil Uzi Vert eight-second teaser showcases various colorful frames, with the rapper's Icon Skin bathed in pink and purple." — Beebom, 22 October 2026
There's no Item Shop listing, Fortnite news post or V-Bucks price yet. Epic hasn't confirmed the set's contents either: whether you'll get a back bling, pickaxe or emote with the outfit is unknown. Until there's a shop page, treat any "Lil Uzi Vert bundle price" you see online as a guess.
One misconception is worth correcting early. The tracks you can already buy are Jam Tracks, and Desirable is an emote. Neither is an outfit, so Uzi has never been a playable character before. The skin in this teaser would be their first Fortnite outfit.
What does the Lil Uzi Vert Fortnite teaser show?
The clip is short, but it packs in more mini-season detail than any other official teaser so far:
| Frame | What it shows | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Opening | Uzi's skin posing with a Pink Tape flag with a skull | Pink Tape is Uzi's 2023 album. The flag looks like a cosmetic, possibly a back bling or emote prop (unconfirmed) |
| Middle | Anime Syd, the person behind Cuddle Team Leader, plus an anime-style Cuddle Team Leader | Matches the "anime remix" battle-pass rumour |
| Background | A remixed Anvil Square, a Chapter 4 Season 1 named POI | Hints that an old location is returning |
| Close-up | A pirate chest with a red jewel and a purple crowned skull | The same kind of chest that's on the island right now |
| Final | Uzi in an anime art style holding the Pink Tape flag | Confirms the art direction of the season's marketing |
The colour palette is all pink, purple and acid green, which is Uzi's visual identity. It's a very different look from the A$AP Rocky clip covered below.
Players spotted the Anvil Square detail straight away. One reply in an r/FortNiteBR thread pointed out that "anvil square seems to be returning." The teaser does show it in mini-season art style, but Epic hasn't published a map for the new season. Treat any returning POI as teased, not confirmed.
When will the Lil Uzi Vert skin release in Fortnite?
The best estimate is 1 November 2026, the expected start of the Chapter 7 mini-season. That estimate rests on three pieces of evidence:
- The season clock. Epic's own Battle Pass page says the Override pass "Ends November 1, 2026 Eastern Time." The next season is expected to start straight after.
- The teaser framing. Beebom reports that both the Uzi and A$AP Rocky clips are teasers for the mini-season, not for a standalone shop drop.
- Epic's mini-season pattern. According to the Fortnite Wiki, Chapter 6 used two short mini-seasons: Galactic Battle (Star Wars, 2 May to 7 June 2025) and The Simpsons (1 to 29 November 2025). A November mini-season launching on the 1st has a direct precedent.
Beebom adds a caveat in the same article: the 1 November date "is based on speculation, and Epic has yet to confirm the final date." Icon Series sets also aren't guaranteed on day one of a season. Expect it on or soon after 1 November, and check the shop at each daily reset at 00:00 UTC. In US time that's 8 PM EDT the evening before until the 1 November clock change, then 7 PM EST.
If you're planning around the season change, there will be server downtime on the day. Our Fortnite server status and downtime guide covers what to expect when v43.00 goes live.
Can you hear Lil Uzi Vert in Fortnite right now?
Yes. This is the one piece of Uzi content that's live in the game today. With update v42.40 (15 October 2026), Epic added a giant pirate chest on the Shattered Coast island, east of Sunken Shores, and has been "downloading" it onto the map in stages. The Fortnite Wiki's Chapter 7 Season 4 history has logged each step:
| Date (9:00 AM ET) | What changed at the chest |
|---|---|
| 17 October 2026 | The chest begins downloading onto the island |
| 18 October 2026 | Superhack download reaches 25% |
| 20 October 2026 | 50% complete; standing near the chest glitches your health bar |
| 21 October 2026 | 75% complete; "RIOT" by A$AP Rocky plays from the chest |
| 22 October 2026 | "What You Saying" by Lil Uzi Vert plays from the chest |
In the Wiki's words, "What you Saying" by Lil Uzi Vert can now be heard playing from within the chest. To hear it yourself, land east of Sunken Shores in any Battle Royale match and stand near the chest.
Both songs were in a leak from 15 October. Dataminer HYPEX listed four songs set to "play near the one piece treasure chest daily whenever it appears": Jamie Paige's "Birdbrain", Anamanaguchi's "Miku", A$AP Rocky's "Riot" and Lil Uzi Vert's "What You Saying". Two of the four have now played, one per day. The other two, Anamanaguchi's "Miku" and Jamie Paige's "Birdbrain", are likely to follow, although HYPEX didn't give a playback order. That's a datamine, not an announcement, but it has been right so far.
The chest is part of the Override storyline. Since 20 October its HUD glitch has tied it to the "superhack" the season's story quests set up. It's the most likely spot for whatever event closes Chapter 7 Season 4. For more on the finale, see our Override finale live event guide.
What about the A$AP Rocky Fortnite skin?
A$AP Rocky started this wave a day before Uzi. On 21 October 2026 he shared an eight-second clip on his Instagram Story (Beebom) in a red-and-black anime style. Here's what it shows:
- A$AP Rocky's own Fortnite skin, ending on a shot of him seated with a Rocket Launcher in front of a pirate flag, plus close-ups of jewelled sunglasses and grills.
- An anime-style female assassin with a katana. Beebom notes the same character appears on the real-world mini-season posters in UK, US and Japanese subway stations.
- The Yacht, the Chapter 2 Season 2 POI, which suggests it could return.
- The text "Don't Be Dumb."
Treat Rocky the same way as Uzi. The skin is teased officially, but the release date, price and exact contents aren't confirmed. The Rocket Launcher shot is the strongest hint about the next loot pool, but it's still a hint. Beebom's own wording is that it "certainly points towards" the Rocket Launcher returning, not that Epic has confirmed it.
What else do the teasers say about the Chapter 7 mini-season?
Put together, the artist teasers and the real-world posters give a consistent picture, which Polygon and Vice both reported on 20 October:
- Theme: pirates and treasure, drawn in an anime style. The Madrid posters read "Have you seen the treasure?" and "Join the hunt." Polygon describes them as "generic, cell-shaded anime-style skins created by Epic Games."
- Battle Pass (rumoured): anime or pirate remixes of Jonesy, Hope, Syd, Evie and Oscar, based on billboards and teaser frames. Vice says the names are descriptive labels and "Epic Games has not officially confirmed these as November Battle Pass skins."
- Is it a One Piece season? Not proven. Leakers tied the mini-season to One Piece in early October, but the official posters show Epic-original characters. Our One Piece collab leaks breakdown tracks that rumour separately.
- Length: short. Leaks from HYPEX and ShiinaBR put Chapter 8 in late November or early December 2026. That's unconfirmed, but it would make this a bridge season of roughly four weeks, like The Simpsons. Our mini-season vs Chapter 8 explainer has the full timeline.
In the r/FortNiteBR thread on the Uzi teaser, one commenter summed up a common reaction: "The rapper teasers are leaking the entire battle pass."
How much will the Lil Uzi Vert skin cost?
Unknown: Epic hasn't listed a price. For a realistic budget, look at what recent collab outfits cost this season, according to their live Item Shop listings:
| Recent Override-season collab | Outfit price | Bundle price |
|---|---|---|
| Sora (Kingdom Hearts, September 2026) | 1,800 V-Bucks | 4,500 V-Bucks (four characters) |
| Kairi / Riku / Roxas (Kingdom Hearts) | 1,600 V-Bucks each | (part of the 4,500 bundle) |
| Lady Liberty (The Purge, 18 October 2026) | 1,500 V-Bucks (incl. back bling) | 2,000 V-Bucks |
A single-artist Icon Series outfit has typically landed somewhere between 1,500 and 2,000 V-Bucks, with bundles above that. That's a working range, not a quote. Uzi's existing items set the floor for add-ons: the Desirable emote and each Jam Track sell for 500 V-Bucks.
Watch out for scams during the hype. There is no free Lil Uzi Vert skin code. The only legitimate way to earn V-Bucks without paying is in-game progression, such as rewards on the Free Pass and Battle Pass. V-Bucks generators and "free V-Bucks code" sites are scams. A free unlock would come through an official Fortnite cup or quest announced by Epic, and nothing like that has been announced for Uzi.
What Lil Uzi Vert content is already in Fortnite?
If you want Uzi in your locker before the skin arrives, these are the items that already exist:
| Item | Type | Price | First released |
|---|---|---|---|
| Desirable | Icon Series emote ("Just Wanna Rock") | 500 V-Bucks | 9 November 2024 (Chapter 2 Remix, update v32.00) |
| XO Tour Llif3 | Jam Track (Fortnite Festival) | 500 V-Bucks | 12 April 2024 (Chapter 5 Season 2) |
| The Way Life Goes (ft. Oh Wonder) | Jam Track (Fortnite Festival) | 500 V-Bucks | 12 April 2024 (Chapter 5 Season 2) |
All three are Item Shop items, so they only show up when they rotate into the shop. Sources: the Fortnite Wiki pages for Desirable, XO Tour Llif3 and The Way Life Goes. Desirable's in-game description is simply "What do you wanna do?", and Epic's news tab promoted it as an emote with "moves by Drew Hill and music from Lil Uzi Vert." The Jam Tracks also work in Festival and in Battle Royale as lobby music if you equip them. "The Way Life Goes" has also been sold in the Coachella '24 and Chi-Town Jam Bundles.
The teaser's Pink Tape theming suggests the new set may lean on that album, which is where "Just Wanna Rock" comes from. It's a reasonable guess, but nothing Epic has listed.
What should you do before the mini-season starts?
The Uzi skin is expected with the mini-season, so use the time left in Override:
- Finish your Override Battle Pass. According to Epic Player Support, eligible rewards you've earned but not claimed are granted automatically on your next login. Rewards you haven't earned by the season end can no longer be earned through this pass. Our Chapter 7 Season 4 ending checklist lists what to clear first.
- Save V-Bucks. Budget roughly 1,500–2,000 V-Bucks if you only want the outfit, and more for a bundle.
- Visit the chest. Land east of Sunken Shores to hear the daily song before it's gone, and to watch the superhack storyline play out.
- Check the shop after each reset from 1 November. Icon Series sets can land on launch day or days later.
FAQ
Does Lil Uzi Vert have a Fortnite skin? Not yet. As of 22 October 2026, Uzi has an Icon Series emote (Desirable) and two Jam Tracks in Fortnite, but no outfit. Their first skin was revealed in an official teaser on 22 October 2026 for the upcoming Chapter 7 mini-season.
When is the Lil Uzi Vert Fortnite skin coming out? Most likely on or shortly after 1 November 2026, when the Chapter 7 mini-season is expected to start. Epic's Battle Pass page shows Chapter 7 Season 4 ending on 1 November (Eastern Time), but Epic hasn't confirmed the mini-season date or when Uzi's set goes on sale.
Is the Lil Uzi Vert skin in the Battle Pass? Probably not. Music artists usually arrive as Icon Series Item Shop sets, and the leaked battle-pass lineup consists of anime remixes of Fortnite's own characters (Jonesy, Hope, Syd, Evie, Oscar). Epic hasn't confirmed either way.
Why is Lil Uzi Vert music playing in Fortnite? The giant pirate chest east of Sunken Shores plays a different artist's song each day as part of the Override storyline. A$AP Rocky's "RIOT" started on 21 October and Uzi's "What You Saying" on 22 October, both at 9 AM ET.
Is there a free Lil Uzi Vert skin? No free route has been announced. Epic sometimes gives a skin away early through a tournament cup, but nothing like that exists for Uzi. Any site offering a free Uzi skin code or a V-Bucks generator is a scam.
Is A$AP Rocky getting a Fortnite skin too? Yes, it's teased officially. A$AP Rocky posted a Fortnite mini-season teaser showing his skin on 21 October 2026. As with Uzi, the date and price aren't confirmed.
