Most Version 7.1 event lists circulating right now are reconstructions. They stitch a name from the Special Program, a date from a leak thread, and a Primogem estimate from last version's maths. HoYoverse published the real thing on 13 September 2026 — an actual dated calendar image — and almost nobody has transcribed it properly, because the file is a picture with no text in it.

So we read the picture. Every date below is lifted off HoYoverse's own Version 7.1 Event Calendar, and every number is added up from the reward badges printed on that same image.

Quick answer: Version 7.1 "A Rekviem for the Underworld" goes live on 23 September 2026 and its calendar runs to 3 November. It contains nine dated entries: Silverwing in Pursuit of the Moon (09/24 – 10/12), Vesna's Patrol Mission (09/24 – 10/04), Anniversary Memories Album (09/28 – 10/18), Stygian Onslaught (09/30 – 11/03), Starlit Gala Phase 1 (10/01 – 10/22) and Phase 2 (10/22 – 11/03), Predictive Victory Dynamics (10/12 – 10/20), Carefree Snowball Fight (10/21 – 11/02) and Overflowing Favor (10/26 – 11/02), plus the fifth "To Temper Thyself and Journey Far" cycle already running to 11/02. The Primogem badges on the calendar add up to 2,450 Primogems, which is 15 wishes with 50 left over.

Article status: verified 15 September 2026. Dates and reward badges come from the Version 7.1 Event Calendar infographic HoYoverse posted to HoYoLAB on 13 September 2026 (post 46673425), read at full resolution. The Starlit Gala reward tracks come from the official Starlit Gala Special Event Preview (post 46677987, 13 September 2026). The Overflowing Abundance window comes from the live in-game announcement feed (announcement 20888), enumerated in full on 15 September 2026. Version 7.0 "Everwinter Without Mercy" is still the live version as this is written.

What is in the Genshin 7.1 event calendar?

Nine dated entries plus two permanent modes. Here is the full transcription, in calendar order.

Three details in that table are worth pausing on, because no competing list carries them.

Silverwing in Pursuit of the Moon is the flagship. Its calendar row is the only one drawn as a full illustrated banner, it carries the largest reward badge on the image by a factor of two, and a sword icon sits beside the Primogem badge. HoYoverse has published nothing about what that second icon grants, but a weapon icon on a flagship event row has historically marked a free event weapon. It runs 19 days.

Predictive Victory Dynamics has a second date after it ends. A grey band labelled "Announcement Period – 10/23" sits immediately after the event's 10/20 end date. The calendar does not explain it, so treat 10/23 as a date to log back in on rather than assuming 10/20 is the last one that matters.

Overflowing Favor is the odd one out. It is the only 7.1 event on the calendar whose reward badge is not a Primogem. The icon is an item card wrapped in circular arrows, and HoYoverse has published nothing else about it. We are not going to tell you what it does.

How many Primogems do the Version 7.1 events actually give?

The badges printed on the calendar total 2,450 Primogems: 950 from Silverwing in Pursuit of the Moon, 450 from Stygian Onslaught, 420 each from Predictive Victory Dynamics and Carefree Snowball Fight, 150 from the Anniversary Memories Album, 40 from Vesna's Patrol Mission and 20 from the Starlit Gala web track.

At 160 Primogems per wish, 2,450 buys 15 Intertwined Fates with 50 Primogems left over. By our count that is the event-only figure and nothing else.

That matters, because the "how many pulls in 7.1" numbers circulating on Reddit this week are two to four times higher. They are not wrong so much as differently scoped — they fold in daily commissions, the Battle Pass, Spiral Abyss and Imaginarium Theater clears, codes and login rewards. None of those are on this calendar, and HoYoverse has not published a consolidated total. Treat 2,450 as the floor you can verify from a first-party source today.

Two further caveats we would rather state than bury. The Starlit Gala shows one 20-Primogem badge covering both phases, so it is unclear whether that is per-phase or total — we counted it once. And the Overflowing Favor and "To Temper Thyself and Journey Far" rows carry no Primogem badge at all, so they contribute nothing to the 2,450 even though both certainly give rewards.

What is the Starlit Gala, and when do its rewards unlock?

The Starlit Gala is the only Version 7.1 event with a complete published reward list, and it is the one place where the calendar is genuinely misleading if you read it alone.

The calendar puts Starlit Gala Phase 1 at 10/01. The official Starlit Gala Special Event Preview poster says something different in plain text: "Unlock special event gifts starting September 23!" Both are true. They describe different tracks.

From 23 September, the Miliastra Wonderland side opens. The headline item is the Headwear "Unusual Hilichurl Mask", given for free. The rest of that batch is the "Phantom Night Candlelight" Event Ode plus a limited-time cosmetics rerun and a discount window — storefront promotion, not free rewards.

From 1 October, the two reward tracks the calendar is actually pointing at open up:

  • The in-game "Starlit Gala: Wonderland Selects" event pays out Primogems, a Prismatic Crystal, a Geode of Replication, the Cryo Slime Hat, and four expressions — Crafting with Care, Hands Up in the Air, In Perfect Sync and Giggle.
  • The web page track pays out Primogems, another Geode of Replication, Big Thumbs-Up!, the Osmanthus Retreat Moon Lamp, Delicate Heart and V for Victory.

Separately, Version 7.1's Event Ode "Moonlight After the Rain" carries the Legendary 5-star cosmetic set Osmanthus in the Moonlight, described by HoYoverse as radiating "a warm, lustrous glow like that of osmanthus blossoms."

What should you finish before 7.1 arrives on 23 September?

This is the part of the calendar that costs you something if you ignore it, because several Version 7.0 events die at maintenance and do not come back.

The one with real value right now is Overflowing Abundance, live from 2026/09/14 04:00 to 2026/09/21 03:59 (announcement 20888). HoYoverse's own wording: "During the 'Overflowing Abundance' event, successfully challenge Domains of Mastery or Domains of Forgery and consume 'Original Resin' to double your rewards. You can double your rewards up to 3 times a day!"

That is talent books and weapon ascension materials at double rate, in the week before a version that adds two new characters. Domains of Mastery need Adventure Rank 25; Domains of Forgery need AR 15. Three doubles a day across the remaining days is the single highest-value resin you will spend this patch.

The tighter deadline, and the one most 7.1 previews skip entirely, is "Trial of the Bastion" — it ends 2026/09/17 03:59, two days from this writing, not on the 21st with everything else (announcement 21816). It needs Adventure Rank 20, Archon Quest Prologue Act III, and the "Gunfire in the Silent Lands" quest from Chapter VII Act I. A new trial unlocked each day for the first five days, so if you have not started it, start tonight.

Also closing before the update: the "Frostfarer" event, the Wonderland Treasures cosmetic window, "Starlight Voyage: Joyous Moment" and "Spooky Summer Adventures" all end 2026/09/21 03:59, and the Version 7.0 Event Wishes end 2026/09/22 14:59:59.

Two things do survive maintenance. The fifth "To Temper Thyself and Journey Far" cycle runs straight through to 11/02, which is why it appears on the 7.1 calendar at all, and "The Godforsaken Frostlands" exploration event stays open until 2026/11/03 14:59 even though the calendar does not list it. Neither needs to be rushed this week.

How do you read these dates on your own server?

Carefully, and this is where most reposts of this calendar quietly mislead people.

HoYoverse prints a footnote on the image itself: "Event times shown in the calendar are in UTC+8. Please check in-game notices for event details and schedules."

Two things follow. First, the calendar gives dates only — no start or end times. A Genshin event that "starts 09/24" almost never starts at midnight, and the actual hour only appears in the in-game notice when the version ships. Second, Genshin schedules most event windows in Server Time, meaning the printed date is the date on your own server's clock rather than a single worldwide instant. For Asia players on UTC+8 the calendar reads literally; for America and Europe servers the same dates apply to your own clock.

The one entry that genuinely is a single global instant is the version update itself, because maintenance takes every server down together. We derived that exact moment from HoYoverse's own announcement expiry timestamps in our Genshin 7.1 release date guide, and the calendar's 09/23 marker is consistent with it.

What the Version 7.1 event calendar does not tell you

Quite a lot, and it is worth being explicit rather than filling the gaps with leaks.

It names the two Event Wishes — "When Warm Winds Cavort" and "Surging Ballad" — but prints no phase split and no banner end dates, so the Phase I and Phase II boundary is still unpublished. It does not say which characters are on which banner; what HoYoverse has confirmed about the new arrivals is in our Genshin 7.1 characters guide, and the current line-up sits in our Genshin banner schedule.

It also gives no detail on any event's mechanics, no Spiral Abyss or Imaginarium Theater line-up for the 7.1 cycle, and no reward breakdown beyond the badges. The version's login and selector rewards are a separate infographic entirely, covered in our Genshin free 5-star selector guide. The 6th anniversary lands on 28 September, mid-calendar, and what is confirmed for it is in our Genshin anniversary rewards guide.

One last correction worth making, since it caught us too. A HoYoLAB post titled "How to Handle Druzhna Commander Vesna" drew heavy Reddit traffic this week and reads like a boss guide. It is not. It is an in-universe anecdote — a book "making the rounds in and around Snezhnograd," credited to "Just a Maid." There is no Druzhna Commander boss fight on this calendar.

Frequently Asked Questions

When do Genshin 7.1 events start? The Version 7.1 update lands on 23 September 2026, and the first two events on the calendar — Silverwing in Pursuit of the Moon and Vesna's Patrol Mission — both begin 09/24. The Event Wishes begin with the update itself on 09/23. The calendar runs through to 3 November 2026.

How many Primogems do the 7.1 events give? The reward badges printed on HoYoverse's calendar total 2,450 Primogems across seven events, which is 15 wishes with 50 spare. That is the event-only figure. It excludes commissions, the Battle Pass, Spiral Abyss, Imaginarium Theater, codes and login rewards, and HoYoverse has not published a consolidated version total.

What is the biggest event in Genshin 7.1? Silverwing in Pursuit of the Moon, by a wide margin. It carries a 950-Primogem badge — more than twice the next largest — runs 19 days from 09/24 to 10/12, is the only entry drawn as a full illustrated banner, and shows a sword icon indicating a free event weapon alongside the Primogems.

Do the Version 7.1 calendar dates match my server? The calendar is stamped UTC+8 and HoYoverse directs you to the in-game notices for details and schedules. Genshin expresses most event windows in Server Time, so the printed dates apply to your own server's clock. Exact start and end hours are not on the calendar and only appear in-game once the version is live.

What should I do before the 7.1 update? Finish "Trial of the Bastion" first — it closes 2026/09/17 03:59, earlier than everything else. Then spend resin on Overflowing Abundance, which ends 2026/09/21 03:59 and doubles Talent Level-Up and Weapon Ascension Material rewards up to three times per day. Frostfarer, Wonderland Treasures, Starlight Voyage and Spooky Summer Adventures also close 09/21 03:59, and the Version 7.0 Event Wishes end 09/22 14:59:59.

Is Stygian Onslaught in 7.1? Yes. The calendar places it at 09/30 – 11/03 with a 450-Primogem badge, making it the second-largest Primogem source on the schedule and the longest single-event window in the version.
