That adds up to 6 stations, 12 named hosts and 18 previewed songs, all straight from Rockstar. Hosts are listed by the names Rockstar uses on the station cards. Rockstar hasn't said whether any of them are real-world artists playing themselves, so we don't assume it either.
The station cards are previews, not full playlists. In GTA V, each licensed station ran far more than three songs, and Rockstar describes GTA 6's lineup as its biggest yet. Expect each station's full tracklist to be much longer at launch.
Are there more GTA 6 radio stations coming?
Almost certainly. Rockstar's own copy says so. The radio section of the official music page reads, verbatim:

Look at the six confirmed stations, though. None of them is a classic rock station and none is talk radio. Rockstar has also said nothing about a total station count. Any number you see quoted (17, 20, "over 20") comes from leaks or guesswork, not Rockstar.
Are V-Rock and Vice City FM back in GTA 6?
This is what r/GTA6 is talking about this week. A thread posted October 19 claiming Vice City FM (from GTA IV's Episodes from Liberty City) and V-Rock (from Vice City and Vice City Stories) were returning shot to nearly 600 upvotes within hours. One commenter was already guessing the tracklist, naming Depeche Mode, Wang Chung and the Pointer Sisters (all heard in GTA 6 trailers or An Extended Look) as likely Vice City FM picks.
Here's what can actually be verified:
- V-Rock: Jason Duval is shown wearing a V-Rock T-shirt in a video clip on Rockstar's official GTA VI website, per the GTA Wiki's radio page. That's official material, but a T-shirt is merch in the world, not a station announcement.
- Vice City FM: An advertisement for the station is visible at a bus stop in An Extended Look at roughly the 8:47 mark, also per the GTA Wiki.
- Honey FM: A woman wears a Honey FM T-shirt in An Extended Look, and a Honey FM ad appears on a taxi in an official screenshot on the music page.
- On rockstargames.com: As of October 20, 2026, the official music page still lists six stations, and neither V-Rock nor Vice City FM has a station page there (we checked both URLs and got 404s).
Verdict: both are very likely in the game, since Rockstar wouldn't put a station's branding into its own trailers by accident. They aren't confirmed stations in the same sense as the six above, though, and we'll move them into the confirmed table the moment Rockstar publishes them. Can you listen to the radio on foot in GTA 6?
Yes, and it's a first for the series. Rockstar's October 8, 2026 Newswire post, The Music of Grand Theft Auto VI: In-Game Radio Stations, introduced two features:
- On-demand podcasts, a new listening category alongside traditional radio.
- Radio and podcasts outside a vehicle, through what Rockstar calls "newly introduced headphones and earbuds connected to their smartphones."

One more official detail: Rockstar credits Justice as composers of the game's original score, separate from the radio.
The album and the radio are two different things. An album single isn't automatically a radio track, and Rockstar hasn't said which album songs, if any, play on in-game stations.
Which songs from the GTA 6 trailers will be on the radio?
Around 20 songs have been heard across GTA 6's trailers and An Extended Look, per the GTA Wiki's running list.
