How to Beat the Sisters of Parvos in Warframe (2026): Requiem Mods, Tenet Weapons & the Final Railjack Fight

The Sisters of Parvos are Warframe's Corpus nemesis system — the faction-flipped mirror of the Kuva Lich. A Sister is a personal, named boss who steals your drops, spreads across the Star Chart, and can only be put down once you've cracked her unique Requiem Mod sequence. Beat her and you walk away with a Tenet weapon, a Hound companion, and (one time in five) an Ephemera.

Most players stall in the same two places: they don't understand how the Murmur-and-Requiem puzzle actually works, and they walk into the fight with the wrong weapon against Damage Attenuation. This guide fixes both. Every number and mechanic below is checked against the official, Digital Extremes–partnered Warframe wiki.

Quick answer: how do you beat a Sister of Parvos?

To beat a Sister of Parvos: (1) kill her Hounds with Parazon Mercy finishers to earn Requiem Murmurs until all three required Requiem Mods are revealed; (2) equip those three Requiems on your Parazon and attempt a Mercy on the Sister to brute-force the correct order; (3) once the sequence is right, chase her to the "Sister Confrontation" node on Neptune Proxima, kill her Warframe Specter guards and Hound aboard her ship, and Mercy her a final time to Vanquish or Convert. You need The War Within, Call of the Tempestarii, and Mastery Rank 5 to unlock the system, plus Rank 3 Railjack Intrinsics to reach the final node.

What are the Sisters of Parvos?

The Sisters are elite Corpus lieutenants created by Parvos Granum. Mechanically they are the Corpus counterpart to the Grineer Kuva Lich: a procedurally generated boss with her own name, element, weapon, resistances, and a hidden three-mod Requiem "kill code" you have to deduce.

Only one nemesis — a Sister, a Kuva Lich, or a Technocyte Coda — can be active at a time, so clear your current one before spawning another.

Here's the loop at a glance:

  • Spawn a Candidate by killing a Corpus enemy in the Granum Void.
  • Mercy the Candidate to promote her into your active Sister.
  • Farm Requiem Murmurs from her Hounds to reveal her three Requiem Mods.
  • Guess the Requiem order on your Parazon through Mercy attempts.
  • Finish her at the Neptune Proxima confrontation and choose Vanquish or Convert.

How do you spawn a Sister of Parvos?

A Sister starts life as a Candidate. To create one:

  • Run a mission that contains a Granum Void — triggered by inserting a Zenith Granum Crown into a Golden Hand tribute statue on a Corpus Ship tileset (Deck 12 on Pluto is the classic node).
  • Inside the Granum Void, a special Corpus enemy — the Candidate — will appear.
  • Drop the Candidate to a sliver of health and perform a Parazon Mercy finisher on her. That act promotes her to your personal Sister.

If you'd rather not commit yet, simply don't Mercy the Candidate — no Sister is created, and you can walk away.

Heads up on readiness. The wiki's own advice: although Sisters unlock as early as MR5, "it may be wise to hold off on creating a Sister until you have a more varied arsenal." A bare-minimum MR5 account — roughly four maxed Warframes and eleven maxed weapons — is usually "a very insufficient arsenal for taking down a Sister." Build your kit first.

How do Requiem Mods and Murmurs work?

This is the part that trips everyone up, so slow down here.

Every Sister has a three-Requiem kill code — a specific sequence of Requiem Mods that must be installed on your Parazon in the correct order to finish her. You learn that code in two stages:

Stage 1 — learn which Requiems. You gain Requiem Murmurs by killing the Sister's Hounds with a Mercy finisher. Any mission under your Sister's influence spawns Hounds as you advance — including one guaranteed Hound at mission start — and at most three Hounds per mission reward Murmurs this way. Accumulate enough Murmurs and the Sister's status screen reveals her Requiems one at a time: inner ring for Hint 1, middle ring for Hint 2, outer ring for Hint 3.

Stage 2 — learn the order. Murmurs only tell you which three Requiems you need, never the sequence. You brute-force the order through Mercy attempts on the Sister herself. Attempting a Mercy with a wrong guess isn't wasted: a failed Mercy hands the entire squad 10 Murmurs, and a correct mod transfers your accumulated Murmurs onto the next reveal.

Where do the Requiem Mods themselves come from? Open Requiem Relics at Kuva Fortress Void Fissures. Requiem Relics drop from Kuva Thralls, Mechanical Hounds, and Kuva Siphons. Each Requiem Mod has limited charges and loses one every time you use it in a successful kill, so keep a small stock.

How do you actually fight the Sister?

Once a Sister is "enraged," she can appear in your mission to fight you directly. She has one shield bar and three health bars. The combat rhythm:

  • Deplete a health bar to 5%. She stumbles and begins recovering health for 10 seconds — your window to strike.
  • Hit her with a Parazon Mercy. If the Requiem in that slot is correct (or an Oull), that health bar is destroyed and you move to the next.
  • A wrong Requiem means she counters the Mercy, ranks up, and flees to the next planet — leveling up and getting tougher. Each Mercy attempt also makes her drop 7,000–10,000 Credits.

Deal with her Hound first every time: if the Hound is alive when her health bar drops, it self-destructs for no Murmur reward. Watch for Shield Ospreys too — they link to Hounds and Sisters and rapidly restore shields.

Why does my damage feel useless? (Damage Attenuation)

Sisters have Damage Attenuation — a mechanic that scales down incoming damage from high-hitting weapons, which gets brutal at higher ranks. The counter-intuitive fix, straight from the wiki:

"Due to their Damage Attenuation, weapons with low base damage such as high fire rate rifles or high multishot shotguns are more effective than weapons that deal high damage in a single shot."

So leave the one-shot sniper at home and bring a fast-firing rifle or a dense-pellet shotgun. A few more combat facts worth knowing:

  • Unlike many bosses, both a Sister's shields and armor can be stripped (Kuva Liches can't have their armor stripped the same way).
  • Toxin does not bypass a Sister's shields here — a departure from Toxin's usual behavior, so strip shields first.
  • She can take only 4 stacks of most status effects (Impact is the exception at 6). Radiation only amplifies damage she takes from allied units — it won't trigger friendly fire unless those allies are themselves radiated.
  • Warframe abilities bypass Damage Attenuation. Banshee's Sonar deals significant damage straight through it, and Sevagoth's Gloom (subsumable via Helminth) slows her hard.

What are the odds of guessing the Requiem order?

Here's the hard math the wiki publishes, and it's the single best argument for farming an Oull mod:

  • With at least three Requiems installed, a blind first-try kill is a 1 in 336 (0.2976%) chance.
  • With an Oull mod, that improves to 1 in 56 (1.7857%).

Oull acts as a wildcard that satisfies any single slot. The practical move: slot Oull in your first Parazon position. Every time the Sister spawns you can reliably destroy her first health bar — which forces an extra Hound to spawn — regardless of how much of her sequence you've decoded. More Hounds means faster Murmurs. Follow the wiki's "safe 4-attempt" method (lock each revealed Requiem into the earliest unknown slot and shuffle the remaining two) and you can guarantee the kill in four tries without gambling.

Where is the final confrontation?

When your sequence is correct and all three health bars are gone, every Requiem used loses one charge, there's a 25% chance she drops an Oull for you, and she retreats to the Neptune Proxima.

Go to the node labeled "Sister Confrontation" on Neptune Proxima. It requires Rank 3 Railjack Intrinsics to access — this is an Empyrean Skirmish, so you'll need your Railjack. Clear the Crewships and Corpus Ship Security Nodes, then board her ship.

Inside, the Sister is guarded by two random Warframe Specters and her Hound, and she's invulnerable until the guards are dead. She now has a single health bar. Drop it, and you get one final Mercy prompt — and 20 seconds to decide. (If you don't choose in time, she's automatically Vanquished.)

Vanquish or Convert: which should you pick?

Either choice returns all the loot she stole from you, guarantees her Ephemera if she had one equipped, carries a 25% chance of a Requiem Ultimatum, and awards everyone a Corrupted Holokey. The difference is what you keep:

Vanquish — she dies permanently and you receive her Tenet weapon and her Hound (both named after her, e.g. "Gonia Bek Tenet Detron"), "Ready to Claim" in the Foundry and bypassing the weapon's Mastery Rank requirement. She also drops a random Hound component blueprint for the whole squad.

Convert — she becomes your ally, randomly appearing to fight alongside you after you self-revive from bleedout, and she can crew your Railjack (Defender role) with Command Intrinsic Rank 8. Crucially, a converted Sister is also tradeable.

The simple rule: Vanquish the Sister whose Tenet weapon you want to keep. Convert the ones you don't — then either keep them as allies, or legitimately trade them to another player.

Can you trade Sisters of Parvos?

Yes — and this is where the Sisters system meets Warframe's player-to-player economy, which is a legitimate, in-game feature. A converted Sister can be traded to another player through a Clan Dojo's Crimson Branch room. The recipient must have no active Kuva Lich, Technocyte Coda, or Sister of her own. Once traded, she becomes the recipient's active Sister with a newly scrambled Requiem sequence — and she can only be traded once. If the recipient converts her again, she's locked.

The other tradeable pieces are the Hound component blueprints that drop on a Vanquish — these can be sold or bought between players. Many Tenno price-check these on warframe.market, the community price reference most players use. (It's a fan-run site, not operated or endorsed by Digital Extremes — always treat its prices as community data, not official.)

One hard line worth stating plainly: all of this happens inside Warframe, player-to-player, using the in-game Trading Console. Digital Extremes' EULA explicitly prohibits secondary markets for Game Currency and names third-party "leveling services" as a banned offering, and DE support publicly calls third-party platinum sellers "not legitimate." Trade Hounds and converted Sisters with other Tenno in your Dojo — never buy platinum, accounts, or boosts from an outside shop. If you're new to the Trading Console itself, our full Warframe trading guide walks through tax, limits, and the "cannot trade" fix.

How do you get the Ephemera?

A Sister has a 20% chance to spawn with an Ephemera matching her Progenitor element, and you get it on either Vanquish or Convert. There are seven to collect, one per element:

  • Impact → Kyruna Ephemera
  • Heat → Zarina Ephemera
  • Cold → Gloriana Ephemera
  • Electricity → Sybillina Ephemera
  • Toxin → Lucretia Ephemera
  • Magnetic → Solena Ephemera
  • Radiation → Hypatia Ephemera

Because only one in five Sisters even spawns with an Ephemera, completing the set is a long grind — exactly the kind of chase that keeps the Sisters system relevant long after you've got your first Tenet weapon.

FAQ

What do you need to unlock the Sisters of Parvos? You must complete the quests The War Within and Call of the Tempestarii, and be at least Mastery Rank 5. To reach the final confrontation node you also need Rank 3 Railjack Intrinsics.

How do you spawn a Sister of Parvos? Trigger a Granum Void by placing a Zenith Granum Crown in a Golden Hand tribute on a Corpus Ship node, defeat the special Candidate enemy inside, and perform a Parazon Mercy on her to promote her to your active Sister.

How many Requiem Mods do you need? Three, used in a specific order. You learn which three from Requiem Murmurs (farmed by Mercy-killing Hounds) and figure out the order through Mercy attempts on the Sister.

Should I Vanquish or Convert a Sister of Parvos? Vanquish to permanently claim her Tenet weapon and Hound (Mastery Rank requirement bypassed). Convert to turn her into an ally and Railjack crew member — and converts are the only version you can trade to another player.

Can you trade Sisters of Parvos? You can trade a converted Sister once, inside a Clan Dojo's Crimson Branch room, to a player with no active nemesis. The Hound component blueprints from a Vanquish are also tradeable. All trading is player-to-player through the in-game Trading Console.

What are the odds of killing a Sister on the first try? With three Requiems installed, a blind guess is 1 in 336. Equipping an Oull mod improves it to 1 in 56.

Why does my weapon barely scratch the Sister? Damage Attenuation throttles high per-hit damage. Switch to low-base-damage, high-fire-rate weapons (fast rifles, multishot shotguns), strip her shields and armor, and lean on abilities like Banshee's Sonar that bypass Attenuation entirely.
