Mortenax Blade official Keeping Up With Star Rail art, the next HSR banner on the Version 4.6 Phase 2 schedule

The HSR banner schedule changes tomorrow. Version 4.6 Phase 1 ends on October 21, 2026 at 11:59 server time, and Phase 2 opens one minute later at 12:00 server time with Mortenax Blade returning on "Now I Am Become Blade". Pearl stays on her banner until November 10, and Version 4.7 begins on November 11, 2026. This page lists every current Warp, the exact swap times in your region, and a table of every Version 4.x banner date taken from HoYoverse's own version notices, so you can tell when the next banner lands without relying on leaks.

Quick answer (checked October 20, 2026, 05:30 UTC):

  • Current banners (4.6 Phase 1): Pearl on "An Ocean in a Pearl" and the Evanescia rerun on "The Demoiselle in Charge", until October 21, 11:59 server time.
  • Next banner (4.6 Phase 2): the Mortenax Blade rerun on "Now I Am Become Blade", from October 21, 12:00 server time to November 10, 14:59 server time. Pearl continues alongside him.
  • 4-stars on every 4.6 Character Warp: Qingque, Xueyi and Misha.
  • Version 4.7: starts after maintenance on November 11, 2026. HoYoverse's 4.6 notice ends the version at 06:00 (UTC+8) that day.
  • 4.7 characters: HoYoverse has not announced them yet. They are revealed in the 4.7 Special Program, which we project for October 30 to November 4, 2026.
  • Pity: your Character Event Warp pity and 50/50 guarantee carry over to every later character banner.

When does the next HSR banner start?

The next banner starts on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at 12:00 server time. Server time is the clock of the server your account plays on, not your local time and not one global UTC time. HSR uses three server clocks: America is GMT-5, Europe is GMT+1 and Asia (including TW, HK, MO) is GMT+8. They do not shift for daylight saving. Here is the same swap on each server:

ServerPhase 1 endsPhase 2 opensIn UTC
America (GMT-5)Oct 21, 11:59Oct 21, 12:00Oct 21, 17:00 UTC
Europe (GMT+1)Oct 21, 11:59Oct 21, 12:00Oct 21, 11:00 UTC
Asia / TW, HK, MO (GMT+8)Oct 21, 11:59Oct 21, 12:00Oct 21, 04:00 UTC

The swap happens without maintenance. You can stay logged in at 11:59 and the banners change at 12:00. The same 12:00 server-time stamp opens the Phase 2 event, which HoYoverse dates in its Version 4.6 update notice: "Interastral Peace Gala: One Take" runs from "2026/10/21 12:00 (server time)" to November 11, 03:59 (UTC+8).

A practical warning: the America server swaps 13 hours after the Asia server. If you play on America and follow a countdown built for Asia, you will open the game half a day early and still see Evanescia.

What are the current HSR banners in Version 4.6?

Version 4.6 "Dance With the Beast Before Moonrise" runs three Character Event Warps and three Light Cone Event Warps across its two phases. Pearl is the only new 5-star this version.

The three featured 4-star characters are the same on all three character Warps: Qingque, Xueyi and Misha. The featured 4-star Light Cones are Planetary Rendezvous, Post-Op Conversation and Boundless Choreo. The lineup matches across the fan wiki's Warp tables, Pocket Tactics and Game8.

Pearl official Keeping Up With Star Rail art, the Elation Ice 5-star whose banner runs through both phases of HSR 4.6

Early 4.6 coverage disagreed on whether Pearl would leave at the midpoint. She does not. If you want Pearl, you have until November 10. Our HSR 4.6 Phase 2 banner guide covers who to pull, Pearl or Mortenax Blade, with kit numbers and pity math.

When does the current Evanescia banner end?

October 21, 2026, at 11:59 server time. After that minute, "The Demoiselle in Charge" and the "Until the Flowers Bloom Again" Light Cone Warp close. If Evanescia is on your list, pull before 11:59 on your own server, not on someone else's.

Evanescia official Keeping Up With Star Rail art, the HSR 4.6 Phase 1 rerun that ends October 21 at 11:59 server time

This is Evanescia's second run. Her first banner ran from May 13 to June 1, 2026, in Version 4.2 Phase 2. That puts about four months between the end of her first banner and her first rerun, which is a useful reference for how long you may wait for a missed character.

How does the HSR banner schedule work across a version?

We pulled the banner start and end stamps for every Version 4.x Character Event Warp. The version start and end dates come from HoYoverse's official version update notices. The banner dates come from the fan wiki's Warp history tables, cross-checked against those notices. Here is the pattern:

VersionVersion datesPhase 1 bannersPhase 2 opens (days after update)Phase 2 banners
4.0Feb 13 to Mar 25 (40 days)Yao Guang; Indelible CoterieMar 3 (day 18)Sparxie; Indelible Coterie (Yao Guang continues)

Three rules hold for all seven versions:

  • Phase 1 opens with the version update. The new 5-star's banner goes live once maintenance ends on update day, at 11:00 (UTC+8) on the wiki's records.
  • Phase 1 closes at 11:59 server time and Phase 2 opens at 12:00 server time on the same day. That one-minute handoff appears in every version from 4.0 to 4.6.
  • Phase 2 ends shortly before the next version. In five of the seven versions the last banners closed at 14:59 to 15:00 server time the day before the update. In 4.2 and 4.5 they closed at 03:59 (UTC+8) on update day.

The day-of-version for Phase 2 is less fixed than people assume. It ranged from 14 to 23 days after the update, and it scales with version length: the 28-day Version 4.1 swapped 14 days in, and the 44-day Versions 4.3 and 4.6 swapped 23 days in. Five of the seven Phase 2 swaps also fell on a Wednesday; the exceptions were Version 4.0 (Tuesday) and 4.5 (Saturday). If you want to plan ahead, "about three weeks after the update, on a Wednesday" is a better rule of thumb than any fixed number.

"Indelible Coterie" in the table is a recurring rerun format: the banner features three returning 5-star characters and you choose one of them to be the banner's featured 5-star. It ran in both phases of 4.0, 4.2 and 4.4. It has not appeared in 4.5 or 4.6.

When does Version 4.7 start and who is on its banners?

Version 4.7 starts on November 11, 2026. That date is first-party. The official Version 4.6 notice says:

"Version 4.6 will run from after the Version 4.6 update until 2026/11/11 06:00 (UTC+8)."

So Phase 2 of 4.6 runs until November 10, update maintenance follows, and the 4.7 Phase 1 banners open on November 11 once maintenance ends. Based on the 4.x pattern above, 4.7 Phase 2 should open between about November 25 and December 4, 2026. Treat that range as a projection.

Who is on the 4.7 banners? HoYoverse has not said yet. The characters for each version are confirmed in its Special Program livestream. In every version from 4.0 to 4.6, the version trailer that premieres at the end of that stream was posted between 7 and 12 days before launch: 4.6 on September 20 (8 days ahead), 4.5 on August 14 (12 days), 4.3 on May 22 (10 days). For a November 11 launch, that puts the 4.7 Special Program between about October 30 and November 4, 2026. Again, this is a projection, not an announcement.

Lineups for 4.7 do circulate on leak communities. We don't publish leaked characters or kits as fact, because beta content changes and HoYoverse routinely takes leaks down. This page will add the 4.7 lineup when HoYoverse announces it.

One more reason to watch the stream: it is where each version's time-limited Stellar Jade codes are usually announced. Those codes expire quickly, so keep our Honkai Star Rail codes page open on stream day.

Does pity carry over to the next HSR banner?

Yes. Every Character Event Warp shares one pity counter and one 50/50 guarantee, and both carry from banner to banner, across phases and across versions. The fan wiki's Warp rules state it directly:

"Each warp of the same type shares the above counters and guarantees, this means that your counters for the current Character Event Warp are carried over to the next Character Event Warp (but not the Stellar Warp)."

The numbers you are budgeting against:

  • 0.6% base rate for a 5-star on a Character Event Warp, with a guaranteed 5-star by pull 90.
  • 50% chance that 5-star is the featured character. If you lose, the next 5-star is guaranteed featured, so the worst case is 180 pulls.
  • Light Cone Event Warps run on a separate counter: 80-pull hard pity and a 75% featured chance.
  • Pulls on Pearl's Warp and on Mortenax Blade's Warp feed the same counter, because they are both Character Event Warps. Pulls on a Light Cone Warp do not count toward either character.

So there is no reason to stop pulling on Evanescia "to save pity" for Mortenax Blade. Your count does not reset at 12:00 tomorrow. What you are actually budgeting is Stellar Jade.

Should you pull now or save for the next banner?

The decision is about which characters you want, since pity carries over either way. Some quick rules for this schedule:

  • You want Evanescia: pull before October 21, 11:59 server time. There is no second chance this version.
  • You want Pearl: you have until November 10. There is no rush to pull her in Phase 1 rather than Phase 2.
  • You want Mortenax Blade: wait for October 21, 12:00. He sits in SS on our HSR tier list for Version 4.6, so he is a strong pick if you missed his June debut.
  • You are saving for 4.7: hold your Jade until the Special Program. You can still pull on the 4.7 banners from November 11, and your pity will carry over intact.

If your account is short on characters for the current endgame, check the tier list before you spend, since it ranks every character for Memory of Chaos, Pure Fiction and Apocalyptic Shadow in Version 4.6.
