Emberbow is the reward most Murder Mystery 2 players are grinding toward this month. It's the newest Ancient gun, the first Ancient that comes in a Chroma, and one of the two ingredients for this year's craftable Emberscythe. It also lost almost a quarter of its value in its first few days.

What is the Emberbow in MM2?
Emberbow is an Ancient-rarity gun added in the Halloween Event 2026. The MM2 Wiki's Emberbow page says it's "obtainable by purchasing the 30th tier during the Halloween Event 2026 for 100,000 candies."
A few things make it stand out from other Ancients:
- It's a crossbow. Royal purple and gold, with a glowing gold string and the same pumpkin head as the lobby NPC and the other Ember items.
- It has its own shooting sound. The wiki counts it as the 8th gun with a unique sound, alongside Harvester, Gingerscope, Icepiercer and a few others.
- It's the first Ancient with a Chroma. The Chroma Emberbow is, per the wiki, "the first chroma ancient to ever be released."
- It belongs to a set. Emberbow pairs with the Emberscythe (Ancient knife) and the Embersickle (Godly knife).
It's also the spiritual successor to Harvester, the 2021 Halloween Ancient gun. It sits in the same tier-30 slot, takes the same Candies grind and comes with the same Gold, Silver, Bronze and Blue leaderboard variants.
What is the MM2 Emberbow value in October 2026?
Here's where both community lists stood when we checked them on October 23, 2026 (about 01:30 UTC):

For once, the two lists agree exactly on the base Emberbow. On MM2 Values it ranks 6th of 16 Ancients, behind Nik's Scythe, Gingerscope, Traveler's Axe, Celestial and Emberscythe, and well ahead of Vampire's Axe (1,325) and Harvester (250).
Why has the Emberbow value dropped?
Because supply is still growing. Every player who finishes the battle pass before November 16 adds another Emberbow to the game, and launch-week prices were set before most people got there.

That's a 23% drop on Supreme in about three days, the cleanest like-for-like comparison we have. bloxswaps had Chroma Emberbow at about 12,000 on October 20, but that's a different list from the two main ones (7,500–8,000 today), so don't read it as a same-list decline.
Our read: expect more drift down while the pass is open. Two things work against that slide. Every Cauldron craft destroys an Emberbow, and once the event ends on November 16 no new copies can be made. Older event Ancients look settled now that their supply is fixed: Harvester, for example, has sat at 250 since August.
How do you get the Emberbow in MM2?
- Collect Candies. During the event there are no coins. Candies replace them, and you earn them from matches and from the new Daily Quests.
- Climb the 30-tier Halloween battle pass. Tier 1 is free. Tiers 2 to 29 cost 600 Candies each.
- Buy tier 30 for 100,000 Candies. That gives you the Emberbow, or, rarely, a Chroma Emberbow instead.
That works out to about 117,000 Candies in total. The wiki's tier table adds up to 116,800, while its overview text says 117,400 (and quotes 800 Candies per tier), so expect a small discrepancy until the page is cleaned up.
For comparison, the MM2 Wiki's Harvester page lists the 2021 version at 80,000 Candies for the final reward and 97,400 in total. Emberbow's final tier costs 25% more.
Is it too late? No. You have until November 16, 2026 at 18:00 UTC, per the official Roblox event listing for MM2. After that, trading is the only way to get one. The tier-30 purchase is also where most of the real grind sits: at 600 per tier, everything before it costs 16,800 Candies combined.

What are the Gold, Silver, Bronze and Blue Emberbows?
These are leaderboard rewards, not tier rewards. The wiki's Emberbow reskins work like this:

They're Unique weapons. As the wiki puts it, "like all other unique weapons except Corrupt, this item is untradeable." That's why neither value list prices them. If anyone offers you a "Gold Emberbow" in a trade, it's a scam or a misunderstanding. It can't be moved.
What is Chroma Emberbow worth?
Chroma Emberbow is the rainbow version, and the most valuable Ember item you can get straight from the pass.
- MM2 Values: 7,500 (range 6,500–8,500), demand 7, rarity 7, Fluctuating. That ranks it 11th on MM2 Values' Chroma list.
- Supreme Values: 8,000 (range 8,000–9,000).
- Premium over the normal Emberbow: about 4.4x on MM2 Values.
You can't target it. The chance only rolls on the tier-30 purchase, and the wiki describes it as "a very rare chance." Nikilis hasn't published the odds, so treat any percentage you see on social media as a guess.
Supreme also prices the combined sets: C. Emberscythe Set (Chroma Emberscythe + Chroma Emberbow) at 22,000, and the Full C. Ember Set at 26,000. The normal Full Ember Set is 3,700 on Supreme.
Is it going to rise? Players are split. One commenter on a r/MurderMystery2 value-prediction thread this week argued that the Chroma "will probably go down a bit and then possibly skyrocket later on," because as the first Chroma Ancient it should be in steady demand. Another reply on the same thread was blunter: "they just released and theyre at their peak value rn." Neither list has enough history yet to settle it, so treat both as opinions.
Should you craft your Emberbow into an Emberscythe?
The Cauldron in the Halloween lobby turns 1 Embersickle + 1 Emberbow into 1 Emberscythe, with a low chance at a Chroma Emberscythe instead. On today's values the normal craft is a small loss:

So craft only if you want the knife, or you're chasing the Chroma Emberscythe (Supreme: 14,000; MM2 Values hasn't priced it yet). Two rules:
- Keep the set in mind. If you want the full Ember set (Emberbow + Emberscythe), you need two Emberbows, because crafting uses one up.
- Never hand your Emberbow to someone "to craft it for you." Nobody can use the Cauldron on your behalf.

Harvester's number has barely moved for months. Emberbow's is a moving target. Our read: if you own both and need to trade one, Harvester's value has been the steadier of the two, while Emberbow carries more upside and more risk. Fixed supply alone doesn't guarantee either will hold.
What is a fair Emberbow trade?
A fair Emberbow trade lands around 1,700. Pick one list and use it for both sides. On MM2 Values, these come out close to even:

How many people are playing MM2 right now?
A lot. On October 23, 2026 at 01:28 UTC, the Roblox Games API showed 663,145 players in Murder Mystery 2, with 31.59 billion total visits. That's concurrent players, not traders, but our read is that more players finishing the pass means more Emberbows entering trades, which is the most likely reason the price keeps sliding.

How do you avoid Emberbow trading scams?
- The Chroma swap. Chroma and normal Emberbow look alike in a small trade slot, and the Chroma is worth about 4.4x more. Check the rainbow string before you accept, in either direction.
- Fake leaderboard items. Gold, Silver, Bronze and Blue Emberbows can't be traded. Any "offer" involving one is a scam.
- Launch-week screenshots. Values from October 19–20 were much higher. Check today's list, not an old post.
- Send-first deals. Use MM2's own trade window, where both sides lock in together.

Is Emberbow a Godly or an Ancient in MM2? Emberbow is an Ancient gun. The Embersickle in the same set is a Godly knife, and the Emberscythe is an Ancient knife.
How many Candies does Emberbow cost? The tier-30 purchase costs 100,000 Candies. Including tiers 2 to 29 at 600 each, the whole pass is about 117,000 Candies (the MM2 Wiki lists both 116,800 and 117,400).
What are the odds of getting Chroma Emberbow? They haven't been published. The MM2 Wiki only calls it "a very rare chance" when you buy tier 30.
Can you trade Gold Emberbow? No. Gold, Silver, Bronze and Blue Emberbow are Unique leaderboard rewards, and Corrupt is the only tradeable Unique in MM2.
